chat noir is much less of a flirty goofball when he’s not with ladybug, since when felix is in the suit he’s only interested (for now) in getting that kiss and everything else is just a job. acting chivalrous to a totally unrelated civilian is suffering, especially since by some heaven-sent chance it happens to be that girl who stalks him at school

also, i think this is the first time i’ve drawn twin AU felix in his chat noir suit! this is based on another of @radicalgameenthusiast‘s fantastic edits; where the differences between his and adrien’s suits are distinct but subtle enough to only be seen up close.

With that cat that introduced himself to Paris as a murderer, would he go to his family? Went to a bar with this song stuck in my head. Thus Felix singing it is now in my sketchbook.

Paris Lights

There’s like 5k+ words to this unfinished thing, but here’s some Felix is Chat and Adrien’s older brother. I’m not sure if I’ll complete it, so here’s this snippet of a part I really loved.  I really love writing Felix, but I’m currently writing other things that have taken over my life. Hope you enjoy this!

The sight of Ladybug’s pigtails always gave Felix a warm feeling in his chest.  He was 17 and knew that it was fondness, but he chose to ignore it. He knew that she would never feel the same back, she was the heroine and he was just her partner.  She also didn’t want to know each other under the mask, and he respected that.  Although, he had found out who she was, but he wouldn’t tell her that.

“Chat, are you coming? Or are you just going to stand there?” She asked, her bright blue eyes shimmering from the Paris lights.

“It depends where we’re going,” he responded and Ladybug giggled slightly.

“Patrol of course, where else would we be?”

Felix could think of many other things the two could be doing at this moment.  The two things he really wanted to do were dating and homework. He really wished that they could do homework together, even though she was two grades below him.

“Where do you want to start tonight, Bug?” He asked, strolling over to be at her side.  She placed her pointer finger on her chin, thinking, before she quickly looked at him.

“How about we look over the city at the Eiffel Tower, and then work our way clockwise?” She asked, he nodded and that was enough confirmation for them to head that way.

Chasing Ladybug was something else that Felix loved dearly.  Whenever he was right behind her, he could see the world light up with colors and Paris became so vibrant.  He couldn’t imagine his world without the feisty bug, and he constantly wondered if she felt the same towards him.

He hoped there wouldn’t be an akuma attack tonight, he didn’t feel up to fighting off anyone tonight. The sound of Paris bustling around him, brought him comfort; the view of Ladybug swinging from building to building also brought comfort.

“Hurry up, Chat!” She called out behind her and he knew that she wanted him by her side.  Whatever she wanted, she got; her wish was his command.

“I’m coming, Bug!” He called back and he heard her giggles from his nickname for her.  With Felix’s monotone voice, her nickname sounded like an insult most of the time.  After fighting over the fact that she thought he was rude, he explained to her that it was supposed to be a cute nickname.

Once they reached the Eiffel Tower, they stopped to take a break and look at the city.  They sat next to each other, and Felix hated when moments like these were quiet.  The girl next to him was a lively one, and silence felt like constriction when he was around her.

He can feel her breath feathering against his lips.

He wants this, doesn’t he? He wants Ladybug to break his curse. He wants to get the ring off his finger, to throw Plagg into the Seine, to say goodbye to fighting evil and never look back.

“Please,” he whispers, and his fingers press against Ladybug’s lips. “Don’t kiss me.”
