I want to see how many shippers there are out there đ
I don't know what to say. I mean, i don't like study but the kids need it like me who need it. But they just cannot continue doing that. At least the kids already in the better place.
Fargo Nissim Tbakhi, âpalestinian love poemâ
Lmao this is so true
The picture shows a bag containing a body or remains, and it is labeled: "Oday Abu Mohsen (or maybe Hasan), just one day old, he hasn't been issued a birth certificate yet, but a death certificate has been issued for him."
Oday, one-day old, was murdered by Israeli forces in an airstrike that targeted his house. He didnât even get a birth certificate yet, but he now has a death certificate though! #Gaza
OTP: people will say we're in love
Why I ship it |Well, I explained most of my reasons in this post, but Iâll run through some of the basics and try not to ramble. (âLet me explainâŚno, there is too much. Let me sum up.â)
Hannibal and Clarice need each other. They both have holes to fill in their lives, and chortle all you want about Starlingâs âElectra complex,â but you know what? She still needs him. She doesnât need a FATHER, she just needs SOMEONE. Hannibal is her someone, and she is his - she is his Mischa, if you will.
Hannibal heals Clarice. She had this deep resentment that even she wasnât willing to face in terms of her father and his death, and ultimately, he frees her from that. He opens new doors for her. I donât think he changes her so much as helps her grow and learn - always good things.
Hannibal is one of the only men in Clariceâs life who does not simply WANT her. Iâm sure he finds her quite beautiful, but he has bigger concerns than her physical appearance. He doesnât lust after her in the way that Krendler does. He wants to get inside her head, and he likes what he finds there. He respects her.
Clarice chooses Hannibal. She dreamt about him, cried over him, found him impossible to forget, and finally, she proved she was a match for him - âWhy isnât there a place for her in you?â She had the freedom to walk away, but she stayed.
Hannibal and Clarice save each otherâs lives, but Clarice is never a âdamsel in distressâ; she can kick ass, and Hannibal only steps in when he must. Whatâs more, she is also totally capable of saving HIM. Literally.
Also becauseâŚ
âGood-bye, Clarice. Will you let me know if ever the lambs stop screaming?â "Yes. Yes. Yes, Iâll tell you.â âDo you promise?â "Yes.â She reached across the barrier and took it. For an instant the tip of her forefinger touched Dr. Lecterâs. The touch crackled in his eyes.
"People will say weâre in love.â
âOrion is above the horizon nowâŚI expect you can see it too. Some of our stars are the same. Clarice.â
âYou are a warrior, Clarice.â
âDid you ever wonder, Clarice, why the Philistines donât understand you? Itâs because youâre the answer to Samsonâs riddle: You are the honey in the lion.â
Should time reverse and teacups come together, a place could be made for Mischa in the world. The worthiest place that Dr. Lecter knew: Starlingâs place.
âBetween iron and silver. I think that is appropriate for you.â
âIf I saw you every day, forever, Iâd remember this time.â
âHannibal Lecter, did your mother feed you at her breast?â ⌠âYou wonât have to give up this one.â
And a thousand other quotes, but I donât want to go overboard.
I hope this all makes sense and isnât rambling. Itâs not all of the reasons, but I donât know if I can properly articulate them all. They might be better said in the post I linked above.
âI ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti.â Great line from Silence of the Lambs everyone knows. But most people donât realise Dr Hannibal Lecter is making a medical joke. Lecter could be treated with drugs called monoamine oxidase inhibitors - MAOIs. As a psychiatrist, Lecter knows this. The three things you canât eat with MAOIs? Liver, beans, wine. Lecter is a) cracking a joke for his own amusement, and b) saying heâs not taking his meds.

Vincent van Gogh, Ever Yours: The Essential Letters
Peeling back the anxious thoughts is the toughest part, but it helps so much, especially when you write them down! Some of my favorite techniques:
1. What is the worse case scenario, and could you live with it?
2. What would you tell a friend going through this?
3. Will you remember this is in 5 years, or will you overcome it like you did with your past challenges?Â
Iâve been thinking about this little analogy for a bit, and itâs helped me reduce the weight a recent stressor has had on me. A manufacturing issue had been making me anxious this past few week, but when I stripped it down, it was just another blip that Iâd deal with. I realized I had been adding all these layers of anxious thoughts onto something that Iâd definitely overcome, even if the worst case happened. So I hope picturing your anxiety as an onion with a smaller, baby stressor inside can help you lighten the load of your anxieties!
