i gotta say. one of the things i really like about JJ is that Jack like… chose him? like knowing full well that he would be another ego, Jack still created him. with the others, except maybe Anti, I figure Jack was mostly just playing a character for fun, you know? Chase was a funny parody video that turned into a whole character with backstory, Henrik was a goof for doctor videos, and Jackie and Marvin were designed to fit their games or power hours too. I feel like Jack didn’t really have a story for any of them back then, but JJ? Jack designed JJ knowing where he would fit in the story, knowing he needed another character and anticipating that we would immediately get attached to him. Jack picked out everything about him knowing he would be sticking around. I just like that fact about him haha. the chosen one….

A Disney AU

I’ve been toying around with this idea for a while so I’m gonna post the first chapter and see how it does. If y’all like it I’ll post more. Either way, I like it, Anyway here’s Chapter 1 of Marvin and Jameson’s story. 

Jameson knew from the moment he could first form his own thoughts that Anti didn’t love him. He knew he kept him away from the outside because he wasn’t like everyone else. Anti never told him why he was different but he knew he was. Maybe it was because he wasn’t magic like Marvin, but he wouldn’t allow Marvin to go outside ether. Was it because he has no voice? But that wasn’t even his fault. Maybe it was all his scars. Jameson didn’t care much anymore.

“Jaaaaames” a familiar voice whined from above “Is breakfast ready?” Jamie looked up in the rafters to see Marvin, his long braid falling to just below his knees. Anti had brought home some fresh flowers and Marvin had selfishly decided to have Jamie braid them into his long hair. Not that Jamie care all that much, they weren’t for him anyway. They were for Marvin. Everything was for Marvin. The tower they’re in, the food Anti brings home, the paints, the flowers, all for Marvin. Jameson was pretty sure that even he was a gift for the magician. A companion. Or at the very least a sacrifice to him. Jameson nodded and motioned for him to come down. He looked at the eggs in the skillet.

Egos lived for decades. But some day the videos stop, the powers leave and everyone fades away.

There was only one way for Egos to truly die in their realm. Granted, if the powers involved in your death were great enough it could stay permanent but the only ones subjecting themselves to that danger were Egos with enough power to ensure their survival. And then the only thing left was life. Bruises healed, with the right support you could be pulled away from death itself and the Egos went about life mainly unbothered by the entire concept of decease. But that didn’t mean that Egos couldn’t die. Every Ego, no matter how powerful or confident, feared the painful inevitability of Fading.
