Oof I want angst and kinda want a short fic where JJ becomes so upset about not having a voice and desperately just yelling out just trying to make a noise.

It took all of his will not to scratch desperately at his throat until he drew blood; both his tie and collar felt suffocating. Even the air he breathed felt stifling as he tumbled onto the edge of his bed, digging his hands into the blankets. “Hear me,” he choked out to no one listening, tears streaming hotly as he bowed his head. “Hear me! Please, just give me a voice! Somebody hear me!”

Jameson Jackson was born with blood on his hands, put there by one who was born the same. Jameson Jackson was born with silver strings pulled taut around his wrists, controlled by a master that he can’t remember. He can’t remember. But his brothers can’t forget. After they had collected their shivering little brother, Anti’s own demonstration of how far his power stretches, they all made a pact with one another. Not a single one of them would dare breathe a word of this to their dapper man. He didn’t deserve to carry the burden that had been thrust upon him mere minutes after his creation. Ignorance is bliss after all.

They never believed that JJ meant anything to Anti past that video. They had thought that he had gotten bored of their baby brother. They had thought he was safe. But Anti had been in their heads. He knew how fiercely they all loved, how it could cloud their judgements and become their weakness. He knew exactly how much they would do for this puppet. JJ was a blank slate, and oh how beautiful a masterpiece he would create with their own devotion as his chalk.

It was only two weeks after JJ’s initial possession that Anti made his first move. The glitch appeared before the littlest ego. At first JJ had tried to ignore him, thinking that it was just his imagination, a mirage of sorts. But the ghost kept appearing, getting closer and closer until there was no room left to deny his reality.

Halloween is JJ’s Time

So in Discord we were talking and then:

@huffle-dork : I kinda love the headcannon I read the other day that all the other egos are wary of Halloween like not scared but like cautious cuz- that’s antis time but jj that’s his birthday so he’s just like BAM pumpkins everywhere- obnoxious costumes, decorations everywhere!! We’re gonna breathe hallow’s eve gentlemen!!! Anti can pry Halloween from my cold dead hands I was born before him goddamn it!!!

JJ: NOPE. *stringing fake cobwebs on the wall and setting up plastic skeletons in the corners* THAT TURTLE GLITCH ASS BITCH WILL NOT TAKE MY DAY *carving 5 pumpkins at once* I WAS NOT RAISED IN A HOUSE OF HALF-ASSERY TO BE FRIGHTENED BY A MAN BABY WITH A KNIFE FETISH *drags out 3 boxes of costumes and yeets them at everyone* NOW BUCK UP, BASTARD BOYS WE GOT CANDY TO COLLECT AND CHILDREN TO FRIGHTEN WITH OUR SUPERIOR SPOOKS Chase, and everyone who gathered to watch: *whispers* Holy shit JJ: ITS MY BIRTHDAY I DESERVE THE RIGHT!! i gotta say. one of the things i really like about JJ is that Jack like… chose him? like knowing full well that he would be another ego, Jack still created him. with the others, except maybe Anti, I figure Jack was mostly just playing a character for fun, you know? Chase was a funny parody video that turned into a whole character with backstory, Henrik was a goof for doctor videos, and Jackie and Marvin were designed to fit their games or power hours too. I feel like Jack didn’t really have a story for any of them back then, but JJ? Jack designed JJ knowing where he would fit in the story, knowing he needed another character and anticipating that we would immediately get attached to him. Jack picked out everything about him knowing he would be sticking around. I just like that fact about him haha. the chosen one….
