I started this comic almost a year ago, but finally got around to finishing it!Ā
love this list!
aka: shit to bring when school starts up.
Backpack get one you like, that carries all your stuff. pockets are a bonus.
Pencil Case it is honestly easier than carrying lots of little things that are good to have on hand, many of which are listed below.
Pens get ones you like writing with, be it ballpoint, gel, or fine tip. as a general rule, bring black and blue for writing, and red for revising. feel free to bring a few other colors, but be warned that some teachers donāt want you to use the.
Pencils good for writing anything you think you could easily make a mistake on. use them for math. if you have regular ones, bring a small sharpener. if you use mechanical, bring lead.
highlighters good for annotating or taking notes. jut one or two will work.
usb even if you use google drive, bring one. you might have a weird project that you canāt use drive, or someone might need to borrow it because they forgot theirs.
paper clipsĀ sometimes you have papers that need to stay together and thereāsĀ no stapler in sight. these guys are nifty.
sticky notes good for annotating and for reminders.
granola bar or a similar small, packaged snack. sometimes you get hungry in class.
hard candy smarties, jolly ranchers, something like that. good for mid-algebra sweet cravings or rewarding yourself for finishing tat bio test.
band-aids people get hurt. keep cool band-aids for yourself or a friend.
pads and tampons i do not care if you have a vagina or not. thereās always that day when you arenāt prepared and it starts, and you have the horrifying realization that you donāt have one. keep well stocked to help yourself or a friend in need. no one will think youāre weird for having a tampon. you might help some poor kid. bring them.
$1 in quarters you never know when someone is going to need extra money, or when the band is going to have a sudden fundraiser selling chocolate
perfume people get smelly. bring a little bottle. pass it around.
handĀ sanitizerĀ sometimes you touch something gross, simple as that.
hair ties and bobby pins even if you donāt use them, someone else will probably need one.
pain pills keep a dose of tylenol. sudden cramps or headaches can come on at the worst of times, and itās nice to be able to treat it.
chapstick sometimes your lips get dry and icky, especially in the winter. buy yourself one specifically for school.
cough drops for those times when your throat wonāt stop bugging you for no apparent reason. very good for choir members, especially when youāre getting ready for a performance and working your butt off.
ipod itās good to have something to do on the bus, or in extra time, or art class.
phone/ipod charger even if you donāt use it, chances are, someone else would love to borrow it from you.
earbuds/headphones same as above. but if youāre using your ipod, for godās sake use headphones. you may love iggy azalea in the middle of history, but those around you might not
water bottle you will get dehydrated during the day. drink lots of water.
notebooks bring one for each class. you may not end up using every single one because some classes donāt require them, but bring extra
folders you can bring one for each class, or have one for homework, or both. find an organization style that works for you.
3 ring binder some teachers require them, and sometimes it helps sort through things.
a book some english teachers want you to have a book for independent reading, and itās nice to have one if you get bored after finishing work. i like to have one i havenāt started when i go in on the first day.
thatās all iāve got for you right now! there will be classes that require other things, or they might not. it always depends.
good luck! if you have any questions, feel free to ask!
Iāve been meaning to organise these for aaaages but thought Iād finally spend the time on them :-) These flashcards are DIY - so you double-side print them so they line up, then cut them out to use! If you struggle to align them you can stick two pages together instead. You can also scale them up or down to bigger or smaller sizes. I also added in some front covers to help organise them! Hope theyāre useful :-)

I got some mildliners finally! Living for these colors.
OneNote is literally godās gift to this earth. [ header art ]
I downloaded OneNote onto my mac air through my schoolās office365 [which is a microsoft email login thing but is easily accessible on any kind of device and you can just delete the email acc later if you want]. OneNote can be accessed on a laptop, computer or ipad/tablet. i believe OneNote is available on the appstore as well?
I use OneNote as a digital bullet journal / planner and to write down all my study notes. i also have actual books for my study notes but i tend to prefer OneNote.
OneNote is super easy to use! think of it like an actual book:
1. DESIGNING THE COVER
When you open OneNote for the first time it will ask you to create a Notebook. You can name it whatever you wish and even choose the colour of it! You can have as many Notebooks as you like, so go wild !!
2. CHAPTERS
In your Notebook, you can have āchaptersā, called sections or tabs. Depending on whether you use OneNote as a bujo or for study notes, these tabs can look like this:
3. PAGES
Time to fill your chapters! These pages will contain all of your content. Whether thatās a weekly spread in your bujo or a page on DNA molecules in your humanbio Notebook. You can have as many as you want! Pages on OneNote tend to look like this:
Once you click on which page you want, itāll open !
4. SPREADS [for planners]
Spreads are completely personalised and customised depending on you! Anything you do in your physical bujo you can do on OneNote. Habit checker? Tables? Homework diary? Inspirational quotes? Cute doodles? Day-to-Day planner?Ā
This is just an example of mine, you can do WHATEVER YOU WANT with yours !!
5. STUDY NOTES
My study notes are basically just what my teacher says during class or puts on the board, which is why theyāre almost always in bullet point form like this:
But obviously, you can edit your notes to be however youād like them !!
6. OTHER INFO
One feature i really like about one note is the fact you can make the paper look like whatever you want. such as blank paper, margined + lined paper, graph paper etc. this is really helpful when writing notes and especially drawing diagrams !!
also, across the top is literally everything youāll ever need.
IN CONCLUSION:
Please download OneNote !! itās so user-friendly and customisable. I was honestly shocked that more people werenāt using OneNote in the studyblr community. Itās such a lifesaver near test + exam time because all of your notes are in one place !!
also, OneNote autosaves and doesnt close if you close your laptop [as long as youāre not logged out or the computer is shut down] so youāll never lose your work !!
HERE is another post about me yelling about OneNote lmao
If you have any questions or problems, feel free to ask !! ((-:
