Justice League Lollipop

Wonder Woman’s is something sweet but sort of rare when it comes to lollipops. I’m thinking maybe simple honey or maybe an ice cream flavored lollipop by her request. Strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla swirl!

Superman’s is a classic flavor and I feel like his would be red of some kind. Cherry! Maybe it’s just cherry or maybe they spice it up with cola cherry. I feel like the iconic superman needs an iconic flavor. (Also I feel like cherry would just be Clark’s favorite in general)

Batman’s is a little ridiculous. I want it to be something silly, like black currant. He only agreed to this cause the others wanted to and all the proceeds were going to charities. So he chose black currant or maybe just black berry. (I wanna lean black currant and blame Alfred for it) (black currant isn’t bad, I like it, it’s just feels over the top for a lollipop)

Green Lantern won a bet with Green Arrow and got green apple for his. It fits his theming. Poor Ollie got stuck with lime. He hates lime.

Black Canary doesn’t really have a logo so hers is just a lollipop in the shape of her head. She decided to go lemon because she loves lemon flavored candy (sour heads!!!) and she’d match with Ollie. Win win scenario.

Flash had to be something super sweet. He probably had a million ideas for this so he had to settle with one… he chose strawberry lemonade with a hint of spice. Yeah this is insanity on a stick but he loves them! He has the watchtower stocked up all the time.

Hi I’m back and here to talk about Issue 4 of World’s Finest:

Hal is being mind controlled and my god is it funny.

The light from the ring!!! Clark being pissed!! Just amazing!

And the Bruce gets grabbed and Nezha talks shit. Also Hal coming up with a mech is so good!!! The backgrounds are so beautiful!!!

And then Bruce pisses him off and he just throws Bruce?! He’s just tossed it’s so funny.

Supergirl and Robin find out how to defeat Nezha and I like how the artstyle feels a bit different in these scenes. Like softer almost.

Robin gets lost in time.

And the finally my favorite scene! Batman and Superman will Hal’s ring off his finger and FUSE?!

They do a full dragon ball fusion help!? It’s just so crazy I love this comic series. If you’re ever interested read them. My rants do not do them justice.

Man I just realized that there will come a time where this feeling of happiness that comes with fandom stuff will fade, not disappear, never disappear. Just deminish.

Other things will become important and this fun thing will just slowly calm and relax into nostalgia.

Now this isn’t true for everything. I could even go back to that thing that gave me joy and relive it. But there is always the possibility. So why should I focus on the negative things when I could create and experience positive ones. Make those times I look back on happy rather than nerve wracking.

I should create a place that a future me would be proud of.

Okay, but counterpoint to all the angsty Bruce-bleeding-out:

Bruce is relieved. All his life, it's felt like Gotham has called to him, a siren song not even pretending to be pleasant but enthralling all the same. She's had him in a vice grip since that night and he's always known it deep in his heart.

So, when he's laying there curled against a wall, feet away from the spot that claimed his parents' lives, it all makes sense. Gotham's mercy always came with a price. He had thought it was his parents, but that was never true. His parents' debt had been called in that night and his own had begun - Gotham's lucky owed her their souls and she would always collect.

And yet, for Bruce, it doesn't feel like a punishment. He looks up at the raining heavens, the cold water soaking through the suit, and asks her, "Is it finally over?"

She doesn't answer, of course. The sky just rumbles with thunder, not even any lightning.

He knows he's dying. There's already too much blood washed away by the water to recover from. He wants to take off the cowl, suddenly suffocated by the duty she'd placed on him. He's being freed from his task, and he wants to feel the water wash through his hair. She exerts her influence over him one last time to stop him - if his identity gets revealed, the children will be in danger - but grants him the energy to roll onto his back. The cool water will work its way under the cowl enough for him.

"I get to stop now?" He asks.

His body feels more sluggish and the aches he almost forgets he has leave him, no longer compelled forward by her relentless drive. He knows this feeling - death is coming. But for once, it feels ... permanent. Gotham's cold, dark tendrils had been wrapped around his heart and soul for most of his life, laying their claim on him. But tonight, he felt them slip away and this death ... this death feels like the real one. It's not cold or scary, just peacefully empty. He has done his job, fulfilled his role.

Batman dies, spilling out the same blood he was baptized in, born from.

As for Bruce Wayne, well ... he's back home, of course, finally resting.

Everytime Wuk Lamat is on the screen I feel that intense feeling of happiness that you get when you see a cat or dog on the street.

What I mean to say is that I love her.

I think it’d be funny to see Dick “Holy [Insert Situation-Relevant-Noun] Batman!” Grayson meet Billy “Holy Moley!” Batson, I think they would get along well

Clark is super suspicious of Bruce cause Bruce is being suspicious. He’s studying odd things and literally sewing a batboy costume. They work things out in the end though.

God this was nuts. World’s Finest 172 I had to look for this one online.

Another Flash v Superman Race, werebat Bruce, Bruce getting drugged into thinking he has to do everything anyone says or he’ll die, Clark and Bruce being shrunk, and two robot versions of Clark and Bruce begging for death.
