Random sad post!
Do you ever think about how some of the Justice League will out live their friends. Like Clark and Diana are like semi immortal in some continuities. Like I think about this so much, cause I think they both would have such a hard time with this. Lois will die before Clark. Diana will loose Steve no matter how hard they fight. Bruce will grow old before them and so will his kids.
I keep thinking about Kingdom Come and stuff so this sort of inspired me.
Hot Take, I think the Bruce fires Dick retcon makes no sense and takes away from both characters.
Like why would Bruce be “oh I don’t want to lose my kid so I’ll fire him” and then adopt another kid and let them be Robin. That makes no sense at all?!
And it completely screws up Dick’s whole thing. Like Dick is supposed to represent freedom and independence. Him being fired takes away his agency in that moment and completely undermines his character motivations.
Also the departure does not have to be good. It can be a mess and Bruce and Dick can fight about it. I just want it to be Dick’s choice, because I feel like that fits better narratively.
So yeah the only thing I liked from Nightwing Year One was how he got the name Nightwing. Also in my Earth au thing Dick does still leave on his terms. I might write about my Earth someday I have like a full timeline.

Here is some Kryptonite that I drew a while ago. It’s a bit dull looking cause of printing stuff but I like it.
This is me and a friend when we talk on Snapchat at 2 am
I love them
idk what to say
#not only understanding it but being overly defensive about it on the internet on a dying website
I am very close to joining you. I’m in a kingdom hearts union x mood.
My flavor of neurodivergent is understanding the plot of Kingdom Hearts.
Little Cat sketch
so Batman has the skill Functional Dissociation In Emergency that allows him to shut down all emotion when things get real bad which is why his coworkers think he's a sociopath and why his kids feel vaguely ashamed that they weren't born with this very impressive feat
yes there is a mini-little Bruce in his head that's having the panic attack and yes that Bruce comes screaming to the surface the second things are deemed safe and Batman has to go throw up in the corner in response
Ok so issue 5 is the last issue of this arc I think.
So everyone is arguing about who should sacrifice themselves.
Kara feels terrible cause she lost Robin in time.
I can only imagine how hard this is for her, but we don’t have time to process cause guess what
CLARK GOT MIND CONTROLLED OH CRAP!!
I AGREE! OH MY GOD!!
I need people to understand how crazy it was that Tim just knew about Bruce not being dead. He had like no concrete evidence he just saw a picture and did some basic background checking and decided ah yes Bruce is alive. Like what?! It took Alfred and Dick so much more search before getting concrete evidence and allowing themselves even a sliver of hope and Tim was like “I have little evidence of this but I know this is a cosmic truth.” Like what the hell?! That’s so funny?! Idk I just love this.
