you guys dont understand. when i search up "glisten angst", i don't want the classic twisted glisten abandonment issues angst, although i do enjoy it.

Varian here again with a huge fandom pet peeve(s):

People in the fanbase treating like Rapunzel and Eugene are my found family/parent figures when I have an ACTUAL DAD I worked three whole seasons to save.

At most Rapuzel and Eugene are like older siblings to me. Lance is literally right there with two adopted daughters! You have your family found trope right there! - #🧪⚗️🏆🌙

A four panel comic of Honeydew being forgetful. The comic is titled "Memory Lapse" and is made by Theresa Scovil. Panel 1: Narration says "I know my forgetfulness can be annoying for you." Honeydew gives an apologetic smile as they say "Sorry! Sorry!" to a person off panel. Panel 2: Narration says "But it's terrifying for me." The corners of the panel start becoming cloudy as Honeydew looks sad while they think to themself "What else have I forgotten?" Panel 3: Dark clouds surround Honeydew as they grab their head and think "How much of my life have I forgotten?" Panel 4: Honeydew is surrounded by darkness as they cover their face with their hands and think "What's wrong with my brain? Why does this keep happening? How long until I can't remember anything?"

Things like depression, anxiety, and a whole host of other things can really mess with a person's memory.

Okay. I was clearly being hyperbolic when I said 'Varian did nothing wrong'. The kid clearly did things wrong, but my point was he was *a traumatised child*. If someone had just checked on him then things never would have reached that point! You all *forgave him* in canon, even. I would honestly prefer people demonise me instead of demonising a kid. -Cass
