First, after an aggressive war on Gaza City and its revival, we were displaced from our 3-storey house in which I and my family of 3 members live.

My father's family consists of 8 members

My grandfather, may God have mercy on him, was martyred by occupation aircraft on 12/14/2023.

The one who was martyred while he was leaving the house to check on our house next to him, which could not be reached due to a brutal enemy who does not differentiate between anyone in death, went out to check on our house, which we were not in because of my displacement to Rafah, me, my father, and our families due to the intensity of the fighting in Khan Yunis, and after that A few days ago, our store in which my father and brothers work was bombed by occupation aircraft. He was working to gather his strength from it and meet the needs of our house, which no longer exists due to the bombing. We ask you to help and contribute, even if just a little, by donating to us so that we can compensate for a little of what we lost.

new csm chapter spoilers sorry but im gonna have a yoru moment. I love how this entire time yoru has been able to turn the gun and tank devils into weapons that surpass anything asa can make but because the idea of hurting her children upsets her so deeply she instead turns to forcing a human into experiencing deep loss so she doesn't have to. its selfish but also shows a part of her that is deeply vulnerable and seeing this kind of pathos in yoru for the first time fleshes out her character in a really interesting way. I really really like how this panel progression wordlessly shows how much this sacrifice affects her.

I also like how this chapter recontextualizes the gun devil and shows that even the being responsible for the most devastating loss and destruction of life in the series has someone who cares for them. I really love when devils are shown not to just be rampaging beasts but people with complex feelings and lives even though they're still responsible for undeniable suffering.

Hello, my name is Iman, a mother of five children, the oldest is 15 years old and the youngest is two. I live with my family in northern Gaza. Our life has turned into a battlefield. We lost our home and were forced to flee and escape with our lives. We have been displaced eight times, moving from one school to another, and we are now living a life of homelessness and hunger. Even clean water is unavailable 💔😭. My children are suffering from starvation and malnutrition, going to bed every day. I cry for my little daughter, who is two years old, when she asks for milk, which we don't have, and her frail body survives only on flour and stale bread. She has been deprived of everything. My children long for vegetables, meat, and fruit, which we haven't had in 11 months since the war began. Our bodies have been worn down, our bones are brittle, and my son Mohamed's chest bones are now protruding along with his spine. His body is covered in scabies due to a lack of cleanliness and the absence of medicine. Our bodies are swollen from the intense heat as we live with 40 people crammed into a small classroom filled with displaced people. My children have been deprived of education, even though they are all excellent students. On top of everything, there's constant bombing, fear, and hunger every day 🥺. This is why I am reaching out, as I have no income to provide for their basic needs as we try to rebuild our lives.
