Wow I’m Sad Again Why Why Why

Imagine a long time some time after canon Boris and Theo quietly get married, and while it's not actually a secret, Theo likes to be discreet about it. One day a woman is hitting on Theo so naturally he tells her that he is married and she's like ohhh I'm sorry I didn't know you had a wife!! And Theo could correct her and tell her that he does not, in fact, have a wife, but a husband, but he doesn't because he hasn't reached that level of self acceptance yet, and either way, he doesn't think he will ever see her again. But he does see her again, while he is out with Boris, and when she asks him who that is he panics and says, "he's my wife". Boris finds that hilarious and after that day he exclusively refers to himself as Theo's wife, much to Theo's mortification.
