I am Suad, a successful engineer and professor from Gaza. On top of my professional accomplishments, I found out I was pregnant. Sadly, a week later, the occupation began bombing Gaza and planning an invasion. My home and workplace were destroyed, and my husband's family and I were displaced. While living in a cramped tent and subjected to the elements, I became extremely sick with gastroenteritis, a dangerous condition during pregnancy. My name is Ashraf Alanqar, and I am 30 years old. My wife, Widad Issa, and I have a one-and-a-half-year-old son named Bakr. We used to live peacefully in the Al-Shuja’iya neighborhood, in a house we built just a week before the war began. I worked as a farmer and owned a large chicken farm that provided for my family.

Then the war came and destroyed everything. Our home was reduced to ashes, and our chicken farm was obliterated. We lost our home, our livelihood, and even our basic rights. We've been forced to move from place to place in northern Gaza, simply trying to survive.

The terror we feel as we flee from heavy bombardment is unbearable. The sound of explosions around us, the constant fear as we navigate through the rubble of destroyed homes searching for safety and food, haunts us every day. Hello everyone
I am Salahaldin Ahmad Khalil Hor, 38 years old, and a father of three daughters. My life and the lives of my family have changed drastically because of the war, and I am writing to you today hoping for your support and assistance during this difficult time.
My Family
My family consists of five members: my wife, Sundus (34 years old), and my daughters, Maria (10 years old), Farah (8 years old), and Maryam (3 years old). We used to live a simple life filled with hope and ambition.
The Beginning of the Crisis
When the war broke out, we had to leave our home in the north. The family was split, with half of us staying in the north, suffering from famine and displacement, while the other half moved to the south. But even in the south, we were not safe. The house we sought refuge in was bombed, and Maria and Maryam were injured by shrapnel.
Daily Challenges
I studied accounting and obtained a master's degree in accounting and finance, aiming to advance my career and achieve my personal aspirations. However, the war prevented me from completing my thesis and destroyed my dreams of development. Our home was completely destroyed due to this brutal war. I lived in Belgium for six months, but I chose to return voluntarily to be with my daughters and not leave them alone in this ordeal.

Now, I am searching for a shelter for my family and me. My greatest wish is to reunite with my daughters and wife and start a new life together. We seek your help to overcome this ordeal and return to our normal lives. We need your support to provide medical care for our family members, continue our education, and build a better future.

Someone tenderly telling u how to navigate the world is a beautiful thing. A plea from a Gazan family struggling to survive to another family in a better place on the same planet: we need your support in dodging bombs raining down on Gaza around the clock! We long for peace and safety! We long for a NORMAL life!
Life becomes incredibly unbearable in these scorching hot summer days turning tents into ovens that boil the blood in my family's veins. Even worse, the angel of death is taking the lives of so many helpless women, children, and elderly as you are reading this post.
As much as it weighs heavily on my burdened dear-stricken heart to say this, Gaza has gained more infamous nicknames during the ongoing genocide besides 'the biggest open-air prison in the world". Now, it is also an 'uninhabitable ghost city', 'the graveyard of children', and a 'blood bath'.
Only yesterday, Netanyahu, who is still thirsty for the blood of our children, made a press stating that the ravaging war on Gaza will continue. This means that my family, along with thousands of other families, will continue to run in a vicious circle of displacement, running from death, mass murder, hunger, thirst, and fear for life.
Please decide to take tangible action today to help my family evacuate as soon as possible to Egypt. I cannot lose them!
