Uncrossing is when a person removes a curse, hex, jinx, or other spell that was casted against them which brings them negative energy, bad luck, or catastrophic events. Remember to take care of yourself after performing an uncrossing spell by cleansing and protecting yourself and your home.

*** This spell is meant for increasing the bond of a previously established relationship. This spell won’t create a relationship that was not previously there.***
CHANT:
Like a bee to a flower, we need to be lovers, one cannot live without the other, and should it be found that we are apart, we’ll be connected at the core of our hearts. For I am your one and you are to mine, forever and always, together in time.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
1. A purple candle 2. A gold thread/string
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO DO:
1. Light the purple candle. 2. The gold thread will be a representation of your bond. Wrap it around your candle and tie a knot ONLY ONCE while repeating the chant. 3. Keep this candle at your bedside or somewhere in the room that you share with your partner. You can keep the candle lit as long as you would like but you can blow out the candle once the knot has been tied. 4. Every night, simply light the candle and retighten the knot. This represents strengthening the bond of your relationship continuously. Because relationships are a continuous effort, they must be continuously strengthened. You may retighten throughout the day if necessary. Repeat the chant while doing this as often as you can (kind of like singing during any task). ***OPTIONAL: You may engrave a sigil of Strength into the side of the candle***
Blessed be.
I hope this isn't rude, but I'm following a LOT of witch blogs. you being one of them. yet, when I look at the witch-related asks & answers for all of those blogs, other blogs are helpful and list spells and such. you just "no" whenever someone asks? Can I ask why you reject magic for a lot of your situations, considering you run a magic blog and are quite literally a creator of a magical how-to book?
simply because magic is not needed in every situation, nor is it advisable. recognizing when magic is and isn’t needed, or even a good idea is important in the life of the witch.
here are a couple of examples of such:
bewitching your significant other (consent issues anyone?)
bewitching a non-signif to find out personal things (consent again)
asked for a spell for communicating with spirits (just because a skill isn’t developed doesn’t mean a spell will replace experience)
weight loss spells (dangerous and against my personal morals)
however, the one outlier i include is this, because it’s important:
easily google-able question (as stated in previous posts, i encourage people to develop their own research skills so they can grow in their craft when they reach an area of their path where there isn’t someone around to hold their hand and slip them the answers)
as for your “other blogs are helpful and list spells and such”, i’d like to direct your attention to the many posts of lists and ~stuff~ i make for people. such as the:

I like to use my hair as a way to bond with my plants.
That’s right, my hair.
As something that grows slowly and (In my practice) holds my essence, my hair and my plant have a few things in common (disregarding the obvious differences of course).
As a way to leave a part of me behind with my plant, I like to take a couple strands of my hair and tie it gently (don’t be rude to your buddy now) around a stem. As I do this I like to chant
“With this hair, I invite you To create a bond, between us two”
This is just one thing I say, I like to change it up on the spot for different plants. To me, the important part is slipping in the part that it is the plants OPTION to bond with me. I INVITE it to bond with me, it can refuse, sometimes over something as simple as indifference towards me.
The purpose of this practice (for me) is to leave a token of myself behind, something I feel holds a good amount of my personal energy. For me that means my hair (you’d agree if you saw how I care for my hair like it’s a sprit of it’s own).
This allows for a few things to happen (upg) -if the plant is uncertain about me: it can sit with my energy for a while in a way that does not disrupt the plant in any way
- If the plant finds my presence comforting: it leaves behind a nice energy while I’m gone for my plants to feel. You can leave hair behind for plants you’ve already bonded with as a way to leave them something with your energy (great for when you leave for a long trip!)

Dolls and poppets are utilized across many faiths, however often witches neglect to “breath life” into them. Not doing so doesn’t make them wholly ineffective, however going the extra step really amps up the potency, especially when using it as sympathetic magic or creating a protective being! It’s a relatively simple step, but highly dependent upon which path you follow. I’ll briefly cover my methodology.
Foremost, I would like to specify the difference between the two types of dolls I utilize. One being sympathetic magic, the one most often thought of when people think of dolls and witchcraft. Voodoo dolls. This is a misnomer, as the common portrayal off voodoo dolls in media have skewed the original purpose of such dolls. Originally the dolls were used by practitioners not to affect people, but as a guide to the sufferers ailments and treatments – more akin to a “medical chart.” However, they have since (and really, in European magical traditions for centuries) been used to heal or harm a specific victim in which the doll was made to their likeness. This is a sympathetic doll, made in their likeness, usually incorporating some sort of personal affect (hair, clothing, blood, etc.).
The second type, and the kind I most often use, are dolls not based on any individual, but instead exist to act as a guardian of sorts or facilitate change/growth/health/etc. These are unique and very much a product of your imagination. Create them to be whatever you see fit.
That being said, let’s begin;;
Sympathetic Dolls: Begin by first, stitching the doll together in the likeness of he/she you wish to influence. You can be as general or as specific as you want – matching hair, eyes, facial features, build are all common concepts. Traditionally the dolls were stuffed with Spanish Moss (most probably due to the abundance in the American South) however you can stuff it with anything you have on hand. If you have anything of the persons, now would be the time to use it, hair can be wrapped and stuffed in the doll, pieces of their clothes can be folded and placed inside, blood should be on a scrap of cloth, dried and then added.
Once the doll is complete and you’re satisfied with its image (in truth, dolls have been made out of anything and everything, the only crucial step is the following), you must give it life. For sympathetic dolls, this can be as simple or difficult as you wish. I prefer to take the simple route and sit with the doll and focus intently on the person you wish to connect to it. I then mentally stitch the spirit of the person to the doll (either at the heart or at the feet – as a short of shadow). Vocalize your intent and revel in your creation.
Conceptual Dolls/Guardians: These are my personal favorites to create, in all honesty. I find poppets to be a lot of extra work, however they are useful in remote healing/hexing. These, as I mentioned, are beings of your thoughts. Tulpas, in a way. Begin by gathering your materials and ideas. Create a doll to symbolize whatever you wish to accomplish. As far as this tutorial goes, I’ll use the example of a Guardian or a doll for protection. It can look however you wish, and be as simple as sticks tied together, to the most intricately created doll you could muster. I, personally, stick with a small doll (no bigger than 8 or 10 inches) with yarn hair, simple clothing and a painted face. I often stuff mine with herbs associated with my will, as well as batting and sometimes stray scraps of fabric.
After your doll is complete, take it to the Crossroads. It can be a door, a gate (I use the gate of a remote cemetery near me), a cemetery, even a maternity ward if you’re that committed and light a candle. Fill your mind with intention, then connect with the energy of your crossroads. Feel the planes converge, and bend this erratic energy to your will, funneling it through your consciousness and into your doll. See the energy shape, bend, coalesce into a being of your intent and give it a Name, as there is much power in a Name. Connect its energy to our physical plane by allowing it refuge within the fabric of the doll you have created. Leave a gift at the Crossroads, and blow out your candle, sealing in the doll’s spirit. Use it as you desire, but do not neglect it.
Thus ends this tutorial!
Best of luck,
Q
1. Start your own Herbal. There are some great books out there, but recording your own experiences/uses/collected lore for herbs is invaluable. Draw, press or take photos of the plants you include.
2. Learn about plants by seeing them with your own eyes. Visit botanical gardens, nurseries, garden centres and parks to see the plants in situ and (hopefully) correctly labelled. The human brain has an amazing memory for plants, it is a survival skill to be able to identify them. When you walk through a park or garden, notice the plants and identify those you know to re-establish this memory.
3. Grow things. Be as ambitious as your space, money and time allow. Collect plants that are hard to find, appeal to you and suit your climate. Go beyond culinary herbs. Be aware of where you plant things in the garden, both directionally and symbolically. Plants you have grown are constantly receiving offerings of your time, energy and resources and are therefore more likely to be willing to assist you.
4. Plants will die. Even the most experienced gardener will lose plants. Accept it. Don’t just buy a few seedlings and then decide you lack a green thumb because they all died. Some herbs are annuals, that means they only live for a season, some plants are deciduous, some will simply not be suited to your climate or area and fail to thrive. Be patient and persistent and become a student of gardening as well has herbcraft.
5. Work in depth with a particular herb or tree to discover its secrets. Read everything you can about it, research folklore and planetary correspondences, consume it raw, dried, as a tea and a tincture. Prepare a spagyric essence from it. Burn it as incense. Infuse oil with it. Grow it, talk to it, dream about it. Watch how it changes through the seasons, collect its seeds, smell its flowers. Do this until you know it inside out, and then begin again with another.
6. Substituting herbs is tricky business. No, you can not replace all flowers with lavender or all herbs with rosemary. That is lazy nonsense. Put some actual effort into getting the herbs you need for a spell, and if you genuinely can’t acquire them find something botanically related, energetically similar or at very least ruled by the same planet.
7. Treat herbs and trees as spirits, with respect and humility. Ask before your take, leave offerings, communicate, bond with them and you will be rewarded with gifts and wisdom and powerful ingredients for your spells.
8. Poisonous herbs and strong entheogens are for advanced practitioners. Don’t just start growing or using them because you want to be taken seriously. Some of these plants are tricksters, they can be very seductive. They are quite capable of controlling you. Be wary.
9. When harvesting for magical use, think not only what the plant is but where it is growing. A tree on a university campus will have different properties to the same kind found in a graveyard. A herb growing at the crossroads is different to one found by a stream.
10. Expand your learning and awareness beyond trees and herbs. Learn the lore of mosses, lichens, fungi and seaweeds. Parasitic and carnivorous plants. Get to know the plants that grow locally, even if they are far removed from those found in your books.
11. Check your sources when it comes to lore. If a book tells you lavender is good for love spells, question it. Try to discover where the information came from, look up the older herbals, read books of plant folklore, investigate planetary and elemental correspondences based on the nature and virtues of the plant, not just what Cunningham says.
12. Develop relationships not only with individual trees and herbs, but with particular species. Plants can be spirit guides in the way that animals can. There is an oak tree, and then there is Oak. They can teach, guide and protect. Having a handful of plant allies you know intimately and fashioning your tools from their wood, planting them around your house and visiting them in the wild will make your connection to those spirits all the stronger.
Bone Divination (Osteomancy) is an ancient practice of fortune telling used throughout many cultures. It’s important to find personal pieces that you deeply connect with.
List of objects commonly used in Bone Divination sets: - Old Coins - Crystals and Stones - Dice - Seashells - Animal Claws - Small animal Jaw bone - Animal feet - Nuts - Seed Pods - Skeleton Keys - Beads made of glass, wood, animal horn or bone - Metal Charms - Personal Jewelry such as rings or pendants - Any items that hold a personal meaning for you
Taking care of your divination set: - Regularly cleanse your pieces with White Sage - Keep them with you during the day to form a deep bond with the pieces - If unable to keep them near during the day, keep close to you at night - I find that most pieces like to rest on natural surfaces- wood, moss, etc - Charge them under the Full Moon when possible, especially crystals or stones - Meditate with the pieces and listen to what they have to say - Occasionally bury the bones lightly in an indoor flowerpot for a short time (or outside in the garden if not raining). Bones tend to like being in the ground. It allows them to rest.

Connecting With Your Spirit Guides ❁ཻུ۪۪ ━
‧₊˚. : · •. * • ˚ . · * ✶ : · • * ˚ ✵
In this discussion, we will explore various methods for establishing a connection with your spirit guides. It's important to note that this is not a definitive guide dictating what you should or shouldn't do, but rather a collection of different approaches that can help you discover what works best for you.
However, I will say this, and it's nothing bad. When establishing a connection with your spirit guides or receiving their signs, it's important to release the belief that it will be an extraordinary encounter where they manifest in front of you with physical forms, complete with wings or even a motorbike. By letting go of expectations regarding their appearance, status, and more, you can better open yourself up to recognizing the subtle signs that you might otherwise miss if you cling to such unrealistic expectations.
𖤣𖥧˚ Set Your Intention
Start by clarifying your intention to connect with your spirit guides. Clearly state your desire to establish a connection and seek their guidance and support.
𖤣𖥧˚ Ask For a Sign
If you're seeking guidance on a specific issue, ask your spirit guides for a clear sign to confirm their presence or provide direction. Be open to receiving the sign in unexpected ways, such as through conversations, songs, or encounters with specific animals or numbers.
𖤣𖥧˚ Pay Attention to Signs and Synchronicities
This goes back to the second part of this list. Throughout your day, be mindful of any signs, symbols, or synchronicities that catch your attention. Spirit guides often communicate through subtle messages in the form of numbers, animals, repeated patterns, or meaningful coincidences. My spirit guides would catch my attention by using feathers and placing them in unordinary spots.
𖤣𖥧˚ Practice Active Listening
Be patient and receptive during your connection attempts. Practice active listening by quieting your mind and being open to receiving messages or guidance from your guides. Pay attention to any thoughts, ideas, or insights that arise.
𖤣𖥧˚ Create a Sacred Space
Find a quiet and comfortable space where you can relax and focus without distractions. This can be a corner in your room, a meditation area, or anywhere you feel at ease.
𖤣𖥧˚ Call upon your guides
Silently or verbally call upon your spirit guides. You can address them by name if you already know it or simply ask for their presence and guidance. Be sincere and open-hearted in your communication.
𖤣𖥧˚ Dreamwork
Before sleep, set the intention to connect with your spirit guides in your dreams. Keep a dream journal beside your bed and record any dreams or messages you receive upon waking. Your guides may use dreams as a way to communicate with you.
𖤣𖥧˚ Keep a journal
Maintain a journal or notebook dedicated to your spiritual journey. Write down your experiences, any insights or messages you receive, and any signs or synchronicities you notice. This helps you track your progress and gain clarity over time.
𖤣𖥧˚ Nature connection
Spend time in nature, whether it's going for a walk in the woods, sitting by the ocean, or simply being in your backyard. Nature can provide a serene and harmonious environment to connect with your spirit guides and receive their guidance.
𖤣𖥧˚ Meditation
Meditation can quiet your mind and create a receptive space for communication with your spirit guides. Additionally, listening to music or following a guided meditation centred around connecting with your guides can be beneficial. In my personal opinion, the duration of your meditation session is not as important as the intention behind it. Whether it's a brief 30-minute session or a shorter period, the ultimate aim remains the same: establishing a connection with your guides.

so i made this lil jar for me and my boyfriend, to enhance our love. (please dont use this for the intent of forcing love on someone that hasnt consented/wants something like this). anyway heres the materials i used and how i thrust my intentions and love into it;
💕 Ingredients (from bottom to top): 💕
pink salt (love, cleansing)
rosemary (protection, love, lust, purification, healing)
marjoram (protection, love, happiness, health)
chickweed (fidelity, love)
catnip (love, beauty, happiness)
senna leaf (love)
blue verbena vervain (aphrodisiac, protection, cleansing)
rose hips (love, peace)
💖 Materials: 💖
jar (i would use a heart shaped one for purely aesthetics but i dont have one)
red/pink candle to seal it; for love magic (additionally, you could seal it with red or pink ribbon or yarn or string)
white candle (optional) for purity/cleansing
tumbled rose quartz on top (for a calm flow of energy; love)
🔥 What to do: 🔥
💞 okay so first i lit my white candle and got all my supplies together and i was thinking about my boyfriend, and cute things and generally happy thoughts, and where i’d like to go further with our relationship. i put everything in the jar one at a time, still thinking about my intent (to enhance our love). that could either be our happiness or anything else that comes with a love spell (nsfw). HOWEVER, you can even talk to your jar, gush about your love interest, anything you want. you can put a taglock inside/around the jar too. i didn’t though, mainly because i keep the jar around things my boyfriend has given to me (love notes, doodles, etc.)
💞 next, drip the candle or tie your ribbon or string around the jar. think about how this is binding you together stronger than ever. about how much closer to your lover you’re getting and the warmth you feel from it.
💞 lastly, if you want to include this step, stick your rose quartz on the cooling wax to be the pinnacle of your jar, sending lovely soft vibrations of love. another additional thing you can do is leave the jar in the moonlight (full moon is best). im not wiccan or pagan, but of course you can incorporate an incantation or request help from a spirit or deity, or whatever you wish to do.
💞 lastly, you don’t have to follow this spell to a T. you can swap out anything you need to, add things if you need to or want to. this is YOUR love spell for YOUR lover and you can personalize this however you want! this is by no means a strict spell.
💞additionally, i would LOVE if you made something like this, or used this and sent me a photo of it or wrote a little message about it!💞
These could apply to any earthly god or goddess really, so feel free to borrow any ideas that speak to you! And please tell me about how you worship your deity, I'd love to know 💚🪲
Going for daily, mindful walks. Sometimes I'll listen to music, other times I'll just listen to the world around me.
Wear a lot of greens and browns, as well as recycled and more sustainable fabrics (a lot of my clothes are also thrifted, and I try to avoid overconsumption)
Decorate my space with earthy colours, posters and pieces of the earth - I have crystals, bones, pressed flowers and even rocks and twigs in my room
Learn about nature and the world around me - I am a zoology student so my academic career is also a devotion to Mother Nature but I also learn about what animals I can see locally, I study when and where flowers bloom and how to tell when rain is coming etc
Reconnect with my more primal side - a significant part of my work with Mother Nature is reognising and accepting that humans are animals, and we behave as such; we cannot allow ourselves to become seperate from wilderness. To me, this involves connecting with my intuition and gut feelings, recognising my emotions and desires and working with them
Making and wearing daisy chains or flower crowns
Creating art inspired by the world around me and myself
Caring for animals (that includes other humans) when I can and it's safe: from helping a snail move across the path, to making sure a dying bird can rest peacefully, to giving food and money to the homeless
Loving myself, though it isn't always easy
Spending time outside with my hands in the dirt or streams, speaking with the trees and birds and listening to their replies
i store all the witchy things i find here
