as anyone who knows me will know, my house is a zoo i am a sucker for small rodents, especially guinea pigs and hamsters. last year for my 17th birthday i shared these deco guinea pigs, so this year today, for my 18th, have the natural progression of that post: a 4t2 conversion of @kaisosims' rodents pack! 20 new, modular, decorative fur-baby items & accessories for your sims to adore 🥰

everything that could have fitted slots has slots; the hamster shelf, notably, has a grand total of 15! all of the cages are stackable, i.e.: you can put the animals (which are purely deco) in them, then stack them on top of any other surface--the given ones, or a counter, study table, etc.! more info can be found under the cut 👇

this set was originally supposed to be my... wow... 1000 followers and 17th birthday gift. but back then my cc skills honestly kinda sucked and the slots + transparency drove me to insanity. over a year, 1500 more followers, and a mental crisis later, here we are, with the final product of over 30 hours of hard work! 👏 in any case, thank you all so much for 2500 followers!

THINGS TO NOTE

Pretty much everything that can have a slot, has a slot!

All cages can be placed on other surfaces, like tables, counters, etc.; if you want to place an animal inside of them, do that first, THEN place them on the surface.

Everything is decorative; nothing is functional… yet.

Art pieces are in the Paintings category, surfaces like the Cage Stand are in Surfaces -> Misc, and everything else is in General -> Pets.

You may note that some items have drastically different polycounts from the TS4 originals; this is because TS4 automates the appearance of backfaces, but TS2 doesn't recognise them, so I had to add my own.

neighbourhood tulip fields

so here is something i’ve wanted for a *very* long time. i started these before the new year and since i’m big dumb, it has taken 2 weeks for me to get this right. but at long last! tulip fields! these are in bloom spring-autumn (their colours don’t change) and become a dirty old field for winter.

obviously this wouldn’t have been possible without @greatcheesecakepersona! As these are obviously their awesome seasonal fields.You will need the original fields (or at least the texture file for them) for these to work as I wasn’t sure if it was ok to put some of the textures into my own file. but you really should have the originals anyway because they’re the best.

they aren’t perfect, look a little weird up close, and might be a bit freakishly tall for tulips… but they come in both the 1x1 and 2x2 tile sizes, colours are as follows: red, orange, yellow, green, light blue, dark blue, purple, pink.

i have some other fields planned out now that i’ve defeated the dragon that is simPE / stopped making dumb baby mistakes. 

any issues, please let me know! Its my first hood deco venture.

A wonky buckethat + 2 requested retextures

So, the buckethat is done, and it’s not the best, it has some transparency issues… but I think it’s cute anyway! It’s a mashup of the 3t2 Lindy Hop hair by Trapping (fixed by Digitalangels), and the base game buckethat. All ages and genders, it has 2K polys. There are two versions, one with black buckethats (boring) and one with colorful, patterned buckethats (fun!). I took most of the textures from Vidcunds’ accessory version. You can also find a PSD in said accessory post.

The rest were requested! I blended in the original textures for the female hair a bit because it looked odd otherwise. Also this hair confused me, because it was listed as female 11, but the mesh said 9? But the 9 is a different hair? Idk! I retextured it anyway!

I haven’t made anything sims related in forever and since I’ve been sort of playing again I decided to remember how things work for making CC.

I wanted this outfit from TS3 70s80s90s stuff pack, Lemonlion had already converted it for Adults so I just made it for teens and added some recolors. The same 5 recolors for AF-TF, both meshes included but I changed the name of lemonlion’s mesh to get rid of the special characters I didn’t modify anything else from it.

They have fat and preg morph, because I think pregnant sims look adorable and hilarious at the same time in these outfits.

Recolors of a sofa and coffee table from ungs’s999 Living Corner 04 set converted by Veranka.

Fabric in 22 Poppet’s Back to Basics colors, frame and coffee table in 7 Shasta’s Cluedo woods. And 12 recolors with floral patterns (these are not completely seamless, but on most of the patterns it’s hardly noticeable). Meshes are included, but the whole set can be found here.
