Chapter 266 - Happy Life
Apparently this new epilogue is a few years later than the one we saw so Keigo is approximately what, 33? 34? Older than Jin and Aizawa were. And yeah he looks like he's in his-mid thirties, his scars healed really, really well (you barely see the gunga one) and he's finally managed to grow a beard.
However my favorite thing about this is that he's energetic and happy which is not what we expected since Mera looked half-dead so I am very happy to see Keigo's clearly on the Japanese Salaryman Happy Pills.
Also he took his fucking costume off so maybe he actually did go to therapy.
When i was 5 years old i had the serious, grim attitude of an adult and now in my 20s you could put me in an easy bake oven for fifteen damn minutes and i'd come out whimpering, unsalted, piping hot
can you do a fav shigaraki pics? ππ»ππ»
I wasnβt gonna answer this originally, but since itβs shigiβs birthday Iβll make an exception just for him <3 this ends the series tho, I wonβt do any more
Starting off with one of my fave shigis. I love this illustration of him. I think it was pretty early on too, maybe at the mall miniarc? Waay before Shigi was given character development anyway. I just love how this picture shows the true colors of those hands. Here, he doesnβt look like the monster that heβs supposed to be in the heroesβ narrative. The hands are swarming him, choking him, grabbing him obsessively from every angle. Hori says he hates drawing unexpressive hands, and yet this illustration is the opposite of that. Those are very clearly portrayed as stifling, controlling hands that have an abusive hold on him. I just think itβs very neat visual storytelling.
Introspective Shigi has a sort of beautiful melancholy to him that is second only to the Todofam. He looks so young here. I love this panel
every time shigaraki graces us with that little bastard smirk I just. hhhhhhh. A part of my soul ascends. I love his cocky grin. He deserves a little destruction, as a treat
more smirky shigis because nngghh I am weak. Plus, the halo hair? sign me the fuck up. I canβt wait to see it animated. I hope Bones doesnβt fuck it up.
This panel is so funny because heβs like. Explaining the strategy to his team mates and how best theyβre gonna crush the enemy, but heβs a little shit so of course he has to give a visual with his fist. Nerd.
this look screams βyouβre fucking with the wrong bitchβ. I love him so much.
here he just looks pretty af
touch.
this one cracks me up every single time. Idk why.
he just had to do it to βem
he doesnβt want this thing
me @ endvrβs arc
lighbulb shig. prime memeing material
Ah, yes. the holy trinity of βyou donβt pick a fight with MY leagueβ
Or what I like to call the Shonen Manga Protagonist Shigi
that little scrunched up face?? Iβd give it a 100/10. Awesome content, would love to see more of it
Shigi quoting lotr? itβs more likely than you think. Heβs such a nerd.
I think I screamed when I read this scene. Untoppable best shigi moment. Just. the whole ensamble. Him stepping on endvr like a king. The mocking ofΒ the fist. Everything.
and last but not least, conqueror!shiggi. I think this is my fave shiggi ever
in short: stan shigaraki
Another art of Keigo. Now I can get back to working on my comic.
Takami Keigo has a handful of good memories
fantasy au brainrot!!! everyoneβs least favourite commission pet & proud of it
Everyone looked at their trauma in the eye except Hawks. I'm going to be sad if no character changes are addressed.
I'm still thinking that Hawks' endgame will be tied to saving Toga one way or another - as something he knew Jin would have wanted to do.
Like to me, this scene looks like Hawks tried to offer himself as a "sacrifice" to see if that calms down Toga/Twice feelings of wanting revenge.
But in the end, it wasn't revenge that Toga needed, but acceptance. Ochako could accept her as a person, but she's only a student. Arguably, Hawks as No 2 hero, and influential person in the HPSC could do something about Toga having a place to live in the world.
I don't think Hori put this panel here for nothing - Hawks' ending I think will have to do everything with what happens to villains. He's tied to this theme both through his birth as a marginalized child, his experience of how a symbol doesn't reach those peripheral parts of society, but then also his friendship with Jin, with seeing close the bonds of the villains, as well as his ties to the Todoroki family.
Hawks is part of the main cast - Hori is tying up all kinds of side characters. I'm certainly expecting Hawks to get a conclusion.
