see I kept telling people the reason I'm a Hawks Stan is because he is a never ending source of lulz and bat shit stuff happening that gets treated completely sanely. Man happens to be one of the most casually unhinged people in this manga and everyone just treats it as normal and he talked them into giving him, a traumatized 23 year old whose job experience was being a child soldier, a very high up decision making position in the government overseeing the rest of them. Oh, and he's just casually walking around with a katana now - not even his quirk and it's like he's daring someone to try something and they won't because his coldblooded assassination of a fleeing man went viral.

And this just gets treated as normal as the rest of his unhinged actions like repeatedly setting up coworkers for murder, other assassination attempts, casually mentioning he left the hospital after being nearly burned to death so he can clean up a murder scene, etc....

Like all of this is iconique. Who else is going to give you all this?????

Writing Hawks is hard bc he is the living embodiment of Optimism, where I have zero optimism. Rereading my work, deleting half I wrote, and then fretting if I veered too much in the opposite direction.

But no, this bastard placed the fate of Japan in a plan where he just... HOPED Endeavor could read his mind. And fuck you it worked.

So I feel a little better about my writing.
