We are going to need the ball, aren't we?

Things that are going to happen in 2024 according to Star Trek:

1) the absolutely giant homeless-population of the USA (or was is just New York? Idk, I‘m from Europe) is going to start a civil-war fighting against the upper class and police.

2) Ireland is going to get united

I want an octopus penpal too

I wish octopus could learn how to read. They could be pen pals with middle schoolers.

I made a clone wars timeline to combine all of canon and legends into one cohesive and somewhat manageable timeline, mainly for fanfic and ttrpg purposes but I thought people might like it, it has a full workout of the galactic standard calendar and has precise(ish) dates for events (mainly republic commando) but I want as many people as possible to be able to see it and hopefully enjoy it

You can find it here:

It's important to drink a lot of fluids when you're sick so that your body has the raw materials to generate gallons of snot.

I want a Jedi video game where you play through your entire life, from baby to however you die. You can explore the temple and the galaxy, go through classes and eventually become a Padawan. There could be a meter, like how KOTOR had the Light Side/Dark Side thing, that shows whether you’re leaning towards attachment (bad) or love (good). You can choose an era, Clone Wars, High Republic, Old Republic, the time of the original Tales of the Jedi comic series, or just some nebulous point where there isn’t some massive threat to the galaxy. You could rise to the rank of Master, join the Corps, become a Wayseeker, or any other option for a Jedi. And, eventually, you would become one with the Force, whether due to old age or battle or any of the myriad ways it could happen.

the deliberate erasure of Padme Amidala and Satine Kryze from every piece of Star Wars media where it would be narratively and thematically relevant to mention them is absolutely insane

because how did we get to a place where we can have two separate shows that collectively co-star three of Padme's best friends and her child and only get one (1) oblique mention? How did we get two whole shows focused on Mandalorians and post-Imperial Mandalore, one of which co-stars Satine's sister, and not mention the Last Free Ruler of Mandalore? How did we get a show focused on Obi-Wan Kenobi and not mention one of his best friends or the love of his life? How did we get a show focused entirely on politics and spying and the true birth of the Rebellion and not mention the fact that Padme helped build that? How did we visit Sundari and not mention Satine? How did we get an episode where Ahsoka literally attends Padme's funeral and never once says her name?

The fact that Satine is essentially confined to The Clone Wars despite her sister being the current co-protagonist of Disney's flagship Star Wars show while Padme has been basically erased from every single piece of Star Wars media that isn't the Darth Vader comics is baffling. It would be like Leia being completely non-existent and never mentioned in the sequel trilogy despite it co-starring her son, brother, and husband. It makes no sense, it's clearly deliberate, and it's extremely irritating.

Jedi Order Bureaucratic Structure

I’ve been working for a while on worldbuilding the inner workings of the Jedi Order. Below is a flowchart of the administrative bodies, their duties, and any other admin bodies they oversee. More details on each below the cut.

These are different groups involved in running the Jedi Order. For different roles within the Jedi, see my Jedi Order Corps and Subdivisions.

A flowchart where each item has two boxes, one containing a name and the other a description. The items are connected by arrows. The titles correspond to the headings below, and the descriptions are in parentheses next to them. The bullet-point text below is not in the flowchart.

Below High Council are Librarian’s Assembly, Council of Reassignment, Council of Temple Maintenance, Temple Guard, Council of Reconciliation, Council of First Knowledge, and Circle of Healers.

Below Librarian’s Assembly are Archives and Department of Classes. Below Council of Reassignment are Council of Justice and Council of Outreach. Below Council of Temple Maintenance are Kitchens, Department of Quartermasters, and Office of Transport. Nothing is below Temple Guard. Below Council of Reconciliation is Mission Consignment. Below Council of First Knowledge are Department of Seekers, Crèche, and Department of Primary Classes. Below Circle of Healers are Halls of Healing and IRB. End

High Council: (Finance, bylaws, PR, major trials)

I need some help looking for a movie.

I think it was a cinderella retelling but darker? And maybe it was french. If i remember correctly the beast accidentally killed the nature goddess.

And there is this scene when ‘Belle’ falls into the water and the beast pulls her out by her corset. And it had many small bloodhounds and magic water.

I have the name ‘Azure’ in my head, but when i tried looking up french version of cinderella nothing came out. And i really loved that movie. If somebody knows could you tell me please?

Thank you! I will try that too

Heey!

So this is for Type 1 diabetics.

I have been type one Diabetic for 13 years and not so long ago i developed a fear of needles. But not in the way that i universaly hate them. I had given infusions and i plan to be a veterarian. But in a way that when i want to change my infusion set (90 degrees type) my fingers block down and i can't press those buttons.

Does anybody have any ideas how to stop it from happening? I went to a psychologyst but it did not help. Maybe someone had this problem
