I love the headcanon that Bucky trained the Black Widows in the MCU because like it fits into canon pretty neatly.

Most headcanons that are that big and important or whatever often have trouble fitting into canon because "why wouldn't character A mention that character B blah blah blah" but Natasha and Bucky are the types of characters to not mention that kind of thing to anyone including Steve.

Like, imagine:

*Bucky and Nat sparring, Bucky gets hit.*

Bucky: "Really!? You hit harder when you were twelve."

Steve, drawing on a nearby bench: "Natasha hit harder when she was what?"

"You're the love of my life."

"And you'll be the lose of mine."
