Arcane posting because THISSSS but also we see in ep7 with the alternative timeline what would happen if Jayce wasn't around for Hextech- because Vi dying in the lab break in probably would've driven Jayce to exile/kill himself out of guilt- and we see as a result how so much conflict is avoided, how the undercity and Piltover thrive together.
Old man wizard Viktor literally looked at a timeline full of hope and peace and went 'none of it matters if you aren't here'
*takes drag from my candy cigarette*
Wizard Viktor isn't aiming to save Jayce, himself, or the world. He's hitting timeline after timeline to set them on a path that is doomed BUT ALSO keeps their fates inexorably intertwined
The goal is to get their fates tangled together in a way that doesn't lead to Viktor erasing Jayce into dreamless solitude, fuck whatever else happens

fat character who becomes a vampire and loses a ton of weight and blood can not sate their hunger but they can't eat anything they used to like anymore. everyone views it as a positive healthy positive development but they're starving and dying slowly but never truly dying, a living corpse. this is a metaphor for something
The feeling of power you get from holding a loaf of bread... indescribable

Delighted to know that the medium of Ancient Greek plays offering the audience cartharsis has survived in the form of fanfiction
Not to be dramatic but I do think we need to start flaying the rich alive and stringing up the corpses as a visceral display of opposition to their power and it needs to be very public and looked upon by our descendants as barbaric. It’ll be cute I think
