everything here is in pdf format so you should be able to download and read it on any device. it’s slow going because i have a lot of epubs that i have to convert before uploading and the folders i’ve listed here are neither complete nor comprehensive, but it’s a start!
Tbh I don’t know how to start this account so I’m going to toss out a wide net and hope I catch some fellow Black sister enjoyers. I want to put these thoughts somewhere they can be enjoyed rather than just into my bestie’s DMs all the time.
Black Sisters Headcannons that no one asked for
- I don’t think we talk enough about the jewelry box drama on here. I think that’s some fabulous, untapped potential. I would love for us to build upon that lore.
- As someone that has sisters, idk where y’all got the idea that they grew up in a girlhood utopia. They 100% regularly fought and have gotten into physical altercations about stealing one another’s belongings. That’s not to say they didn’t love each other though. They did. It’s the principle of “I can call my sibling that but you, random stranger, cannot.”
- I subscribe to the “Narcissa and Lucius took the unbreakable vow” narrative written in the VERY early chapters of ATYD. I really do think they love/loved each other. I think that in the beginning they had this dream of being parents together and having a family that truly loved each other. Unfortunately in order to have that you have to unpack your own family trauma and I think both of them would rather die than do that. So they did their best with what they had. And it’s reflected so interestingly in Draco but pls don’t make me talk about him rn.
- I don’t think about Andy and Ted (or whoever else you ship her with 👀) as much as I should. Please drop me your favorite headcannons abt her some they can become my favorites!
- I could probably write a graduate level thesis on Bella however for now I will just say that when I was first learning the lore of the family I did not realize she was canonically the oldest. For the longest time I saw her as the middle child. Furthermore, I also think her mental health issues have been life long and were only exacerbated by her time in Azkaban (duh). By combining those two ideas I created this narrative where she was sort of given to Andy to deal with anytime she was having a breakdown acting out. Even though that is a rough foundation for a sibling relationship it’s what they had and they grew to understand each other. To the point when Andy went away to school Bella kinda crashed out for a few months because her major support system was gone.
Okay that’s all for now!! Come chat with me! Or don’t. Either way I hope you have a wonderful day. ✨
stop letting miserable people on the internet convince you that you must have a concrete, well-constructed opinion on everything that has ever existed.
god bless doechii and chappell roan for hating men as public as they are. literally we've needed this for years
it makes me sad the way cis women are so terrified of and disgusted by their own body hair. and i'm not talking "i have to shave for sensory reasons" i mean i keep seeing videos of women using hair identifier spray on their faces and hands so they can shave the tiniest barely-there bits of peach fuzz that came free with their bodies. hair that serves a purpose and that purpose is cleanliness and protection. i mean when i was in elementary school girls who had barely hit puberty were talking about shaving their arms. i mean full-grown adult women who will have a breakdown if they see two days of stubble on their legs/crotch/ jaw/pits because god forbid you don't look like a perfect plastic barbie doll. god forbid your body that keeps you alive comes with hair that may not be soft and glossy and photogenic. some women are so afraid of having any hair apart from their head and eyebrows that they've uno reversed themselves into six different kinds of gender dysphoria that they can't recognize as such because they're convinced that this unnatural state of highly-groomed capital-informed beauty is how women have always been. you're so scared of looking "gross" or "ugly" or "mannish" that you can't even look at your body in the mirror and recognize what it is. sister you are an ape. why are you so determined to deny your nature.
meeee
i think you all could stand to be nicer to lesbians
I just know Druella Black was the biggest gossip of the pure-blood society (as she should). She knew everything about everyone.
Only insecure women hate Bellatrix.
