A/N: hi babeeeys!! sorry for the delay on part two! work is scrambling my brain but thank u for all the kind feedback for part one!! hope u enjoy part two!
as always, feedback is greatly appreciated, tell me what you thought of this fic!
Bucky wanted nothing more than to kick Y/N off the case and send her back to wherever the hell she came from. Once Stark announced he was pairing the two up on the Midtown Murders case, hell had very nearly broken loose. Y/N stormed into Stark’s office with a coffee in one hand and her other pulled into a fist, smoke near enough flowing out of her ears and eyes nearly glazing over red.
A few days had passed and the pair couldn’t think of anything worse than being paired together but here they were, ten minutes into a thirty minute drive to Brooklyn, the static of the car radio mixing with their deafening silence, choking them both slowly.
Bucky was accustomed to the silence, taking on cases alone meant he could work in peace, catch the bad guys, file his paperwork and move on to the next one. Silence surrounded his person. Detective Barnes kept silent about his personal life, his emotions and most of all, he kept silent about her.
Y/N tapped her fingers on her thighs, eyes flickering from building to building as the car passed them. For someone who lived in the city, she never saw much of it in her own time - the downside of being a cop.

summary: Bucky’s lived a long life.
warnings: Some h*ckin’ words. Angst with a happy ending.
a/n: So like. This is kinda short. At least it feels like it is. It’s also an idea from that fake fic ask meme I did. But I cried writing this. Let me know what you think!
Bucky took a deep breath as he came to a stop. The trek became harder and harder to make every week, but nothing short of death could stop him from coming. A bouquet of red roses hung from his hand. The same flowers he brought every time.
“Hi, angel,” he said, his voice cracking. It was the first time he’d spoken in a few days.
After all, his children and his friends were dead. He didn’t have the energy to make friends with the new members of the Avengers or anyone else. The most human interaction he got nowadays was when his grandkids called once a week to catch up.
But there was no one he wanted to talk to except for you.
