Week 19
Dreaming is how our subconscious tells our conscious mind the things we need to know. Here are some common dream themes and their meanings to get you started understanding your own dreams.
Animals-When dreaming about animals it is your instincts trying to send you a message. The message will come from the type of animal you are dreaming about. For instance, if you are dreaming about a lion and you are riding on it or petting it, your subconscious is trying to tell you that you’re ready to take charge of a situation. If the lion is chasing or mauling you, then you are afraid of taking charge or feel you have lost all control over the situation.
Babies-There is a part of you that has been neglected. It needs to be nurtured. Take time to think about what is lacking in your life or that needs to mature. This is where you should focus your energies. Perhaps you have always wanted to open a business and the idea has always been there. Now is the time to take it from the idea stage to the planning stage.
Being chased-So you dream about someone or something chasing after you. This is your subconscious telling you that you are unwilling to face your own demons. Maybe you are jealous and don’t want to admit it or perhaps you know deep down that you really want to love someone but your heart has been broken so many times you are afraid of trying or again. When you are being chased, it is more about what you are running from in your waking life than who it or what is chasing after you.
Dead people-This should not be confused with death or funerals. For this, I am referring to people who have passed on but seem very much alive in your dream. Maybe you are the only one who can see them or talk to them. It is as if they aren’t really there, a ghost or an echo of the person they once were. If you are talking to them, pay attention to what they have to say, they may be trying to give you a message that your awake mind cannot hear.
Death or funeral-Death and funeral dreams do not mean that someone close to you is going to die. They represent an aspect of your life that has changed or that you have decided to change.
Divorce-This one has an almost literal meaning. Even if you’re not ready to throw in the towel just yet on a partnership, the fear is strong enough that it is time to look deeply at the root of the problem you and your partner are having. This can also mean the parting of a piece of yourself. Are you transitioning from one career that you have had for a long time to start another? Divorce or separation of a partnership can be more than just the person you have chosen to spend your life with.
Dying-Once again I have to bring up that death and dying are not always so literal. Much like the death in the tarot, death in your dreams is about a transformation. A child might dream about the death of a parent when they fear their own transition into adulthood. A parent might dream of a dying child as their child is transitioning for adolescence into teens. When you have dreams that feel bleak or dire, try not to fret too much. Look at a bigger picture and try to figure out why you are having these dreams. Are you making major changes to your life? Is it time to make a change? There is no need to worry about death in dreams, at least not most of the time.
Falling-Dreaming about falling may indicate that you are feeling insecure or anxious about something. When you fall, it isn’t really the fall you are afraid of. It is the feeling of not being in control and you know when you hit the bottom it is going to hurt. If this is a recurring dream for you as it is with many people, try and figure out how you can take more control of your waking life. Are you financially secure? Is your relationship or job secure? Have you had surgery and someone has to take care of you? When you start to look at these things you can figure out why you are spiraling out of control in your dreams.
Fire-Dreaming about fire symbolizes, passion, desire, anger, purification, illumination, destruction, transformation. When dreaming about fire concentrate on how you feel around the fire. My last dream of fire is a good example. I have been deathly afraid of fire since I was a little girl and watch the truck my father was working on catch fire. My last fire dream involved me being trapped by fear in my grandmother’s burning house. My uncle who had recently passed away was there and so was my grandmother who had passed on several years ago, all of those symbols led me to understand that I needed to make a very drastic change in my life but I was too afraid to do so. It would be several years later before I was ready to make the changes needed.
Flying-When you are dreaming about flying you are feeling good about something in your waking life. Things are going well and you should take this as a sign to stay the course.
Having sex-In many cases it isn’t about the act of having sex but more about combining aspects of the sexual partner with your waking self. If that person is more caring and giving, perhaps this is something you can make more of an effort to do when you are awake.
Houses-No matter how a house represents itself in your dream you should consider this a representation of your true self. This is how you see yourself. Dreaming of a pink house full of your family, for instance, represents the love you have for them.
Marriage-Dreaming about marriage means you have decided to commit to a specific situation. Making a commitment to join two things that had previously been separate will transform them into something new. Think about what you have recently committed to, did you sign a contract? The commitment you made was the right decision for you at this time.
Monsters-Dreaming about a monster can signify that you need to take a look at how you treat others. It can also mean that you allow others to treat you poorly. To stop being a victim or to stop victimizing others you need to decide you won’t be a victim or bully any longer and make the necessary changes.
Naked-Dreaming about being naked or inappropriately dressed means that you feel exposed or vulnerable in a situation. You have a secret that you are afraid others will discover. Come to terms with what you are feeling guilty about and your vulnerability will fade away.
Pregnancy-Dreaming about pregnancy if you are pregnant then you are just feeling anxious about the pregnancy. For the rest of us, this can represent the birth of a new idea. It can also mean there is some aspect of your personal life that is growing and developing. Maybe you are in school or have just started a new job and have been learning a lot of new things. Keep up the good work and continue to grow whether it is ideas or knowledge, growth is always the right direction to head.
Taking a test-This can also include taking an exam. You are being put to the test over something in your waking life. You will have these dreams when you are feeling anxious in your waking life. Are you preparing for a job interview or other life altering event? When the situation passes in your waking life that has you on edge, so too will these dreams pass.
Trapped-This is one of those literal dreams. Not meaning that you are trapped exactly in the same way you trapped in the dream. In your waking life, you feel you are trapped in a situation. The only way to end this type of dream is by realizing you are the one who holds the keys to your own chains. This can also be significate if you have any type of addiction. If you are wanting to make a break from it now might be the time to take that first step.
Traveling-When you are traveling in a dream it is showing you that even when you feel like your life is at a standstill and stagnant, you really are moving forward. Unless of course, you are traveling backward in your dream, this means you are taking steps backward in your waking life and it is time to reevaluate the situation.
1. Go back through your dream journal and look for significate symbols. Are they beginning to make sense? Are you able to make changes in your waking life that your subconscious is trying to tell you?
2. Look at the symbolism in your dreams and go through some dream dictionaries to determine what your dreams are trying to tell you.
3. Continue working with your preferred method of scrying. Seek their guidance to determine what your dreams mean. Ask them how you should proceed to make any needed changes in your waking life.
4. A spell to clear your mind that you can try.
Set up your altar, cast your circle and call the quarters.
Use whatever candles, incense and herbs you feel will help clear your mind.
The Spell
I untie the knots on my mind
I clear the cobwebs that muddle me
Be gone the can nots you’re not welcome here
Enter the can dos with my blessing
I see what is being shown to me
I control what I do with this information
Harm me not as I unknot
As I will so mote it be
I know it’s incredibly early, but I’m so excited // totally feeling the spring vibrations and just had to set up this altar!

I’m a manipulator. No, not in that sense. Not with words. But… I DO however manipulate energy! Want to learn how? Good, you’ve come to the right place. If you haven’t read my first lesson, please read that first. It covers a lot of the basic knowledge you should have before starting this current lesson. Just look in my blog, thanks.
Alright, so there are 2 sub-dimensions in the 3rd Dimension, where we are. There is the physical and the energetic. The energetic affects the physical and the physical affects the energetic. They work in tandem but in indiscreet ways. And to manipulate the energetic world you need a lot of oomf. And pizzaz. Wait, fuck that. All you really need is imagination and willpower. The energy around us is manipulated by our imaginations. If we imagine something in front of us and will it into existence, it exists in the energetic world. Pretty damn simple. Right?
Well, wrong. But hey, doubt kills your energy manipulation skill by diminishing your willpower. SO! Please note that when you know something in the energetic world, it is true. Willpower, baby. It’s key NOT to DOUBT yourself whatsoever. Otherwise your subconscious will make things go haywire and we REALLY do NOT want that. Trust me. Now, onto a few vocabulary words…
- Construct = Whatever in God’s name you create with your satanic energy manipulation witchcraft shit. Like those blasted energy balls (psi-balls), or your run-of-the-mill butterfly thing you imagined up into existence. Or maybe one of your high-falootin’ shields. Who the hell knows.
- Element = One of those-them-there properties able to be applied to your base energy. Every being on planet earth and beyond has a primary element, or two, or three, or something like that. Basically, they are what you yourself produce naturally, and are what you are most proficient in. For example, I’m water and void and darkness with a little electricity. Again, pretty simple.
- Program/Programming = To make a construct do something or give it purpose. For all those nerds out there like myself. And maybe even you since you’re learning this stuff.
So, now, a basic construct I want each and every one of you to make is, yes, you guessed it, a psiball! Ooh so magical! Well not really, but it’s pretty damn awesome for the first time. So, here are the instructions:
1. Cup those hands, yeaaahhh baby! Just like you’re holding a ball! OH YEAH SCOOREEEE! But really, just put your hands together like you’re holding a ball or something round.
2. Imagine a sphere or a glowing ball of sorts between your hands. I’m not gonna get too specific, but just something round because nobody really gives a fuck whose balls you touch. WAIT WHAT. I mean, uhh, just something… Ballsy? SPHERICAL. THERE WE GO.
3. Will it into existence. Know it exists. Don’t doubt yourself. Gonna be serious on this one, which is rare I know, but it’s crucial NEVER to doubt yourself in energy work. But also don’t get confident. The right mindset is a one of just knowing and exerting your will. I hope that makes sense.
4. Try slightly pushing your hands together and away from each other (very slightly). Feel some resistance? Yep. That’s the psiball in action. Congrats. But don’t get cocky now. Anyone can create a ball of energy. Except maybe a toad. BUT HEY! You’re better than a toad at this. Oh, that doesn’t mean much, does it? Oh well.
5. Now, for the final touch, play around with it. Make it do certain things and get a feel for it. No, no, don’t cock a feel. Geez, pervert. That poor kind little innocent psiball! Kidding, but seriously, see how creative you can get with it. Apply different properties. Change it. Make it into something else. The potential is limited only to your imagination and willpower. Hell, give it commands and control it. It’s all up to you.
Okay now you’re making me jealous. I’m probably not even half as good as you. Not even close. Good job nonetheless. Humph. *crosses my arms and pouts*
(Thanks for reading!)
P.S. If you want tips or tricks, or want some questions answered (literally anything metaphysical, especially philosophy questions), feel free to message me. Otherwise, I’m not gonna teach or tutor you besides that. I have my plate full already. Thanks and have a great day evening or whatever the fuck. Twilight? No clue. But anyways, bye for now!
Another ask, dearest Ivy! What are some of the uses for tiger's eye stone? I think that's what it's called, at least. Haha apologies! 😘
Okay, so there are a few colors of tiger’s eye, but Brown (gold, copper, whatever color you want to call it) is most common because its freaking everywhere) The other colors are Red and Blue
They are all natural growths, however the reds and blues can be altered slightly just to enhance their color.
Red is often referred to as Ox Eye, Dragon’s Eye or Bull’s Eye
Blue is often referred to as Hawk’s Eye (which is also given to Pietersite sometimes) and Falcon’s Eye
So all the colors have the associations with Standard Tiger’s Eye which are integrity, willpower, self-confidence, practicality, protection, good luck and prosperity.
The blue has the additions of Courage and Intuition, and red has Health, Lust, and Passion
No water (those stripey bits are asbestos..), light sun, moon good, earth good.
SIDE NOTE
(There is also a stone commonly mistaken for Tiger’s eye called Tiger Iron, which is made of Hematite, red jasper, tigers eye and yellow jasper, also a great stone)
Here is a photo of Tiger Iron for reference:
just because you don’t look like somebody who you think is attractive doesn’t mean you aren’t attractive. flowers are pretty but so are christmas lights and they look nothing alike
