lowkey hate the trans movement for making pastel blue and pink together a no-go
an adorable color combination but absolutely do not want to be associated with that shit !!!!!
so much of modern liberalism is propped up by the most logically unsound arguments ever.
but they act like the smart ones with all the answers. always talking about "we're on the right side of history"
hmm yeah, easy to claim when you just never talk about the times you weren't...
no one actually "transitions" into anything. you are still the same you. the only thing you can do is to mutilate your secondary (and even primary) sex characteristics and use synthetic hormones which ruin your health long term. this is extreme body modification, at best. it's genuinely laughable that anyone would still think that cosmetic surgeries and cutting off your tits or dick actually change who you are as a person. wake the fuck up. the time is now. the medical industry does not care about you. you are just a customer.
ok fine, whatever. those figurines from ancient history of "fat people" prove they existed. yet these posts dont account for people who are just bigger bodied (i would imagine the ancient humans had more muscle due to more physical labor), and those who were in the upper classes who had plenty to eat.
its just science that a human who is very active and barely eating enough to survive isnt gonna have a lot of body fat. and for most of human history it was all about survival.
so i just wonder just how many people fit into these people's definition of "fat" .
2. its also funny how these posts are SO dismissive of things that are VERY OBVIOUSLY NOT GOOD, like soda, sedentary lifestyles , and obesity. you simply cannot argue the science that those things are bad. but suddenly its Oh well there's always been fat people, so its fine!
even in the united states obesity has only increased over the last century. if it were a naturally occurring biological phenomenon, the rate would stay the same.
it's all part of the cope for their sedentary modern lifestyle. it's all part of the movement to make the obese an oppressed class. dont fall for it.
TRAs loveee to say that women getting boob jobs, laser hair removal, botox, filler, etc. and men getting gynecomastia surgery or hair transplants are all “gender affirming care” but every single one of those things is solely intended to help a person fit more neatly into gendered beauty standards and I just don’t understand how they don’t see that they’re fully telling on themselves. Like it’s one of the most blatant examples of their core belief that gender=superficial stereotypes and that their ideology is entirely based on reinforcing binary gender norms.
"I don't feel like a girl" "I don't feel like a boy"
There isn't a specific way to feel as a girl or boy. Patriarchy has been forced to us how we're supposed to "act" in order to fit the patriarchal standard. Anyone can be feminine or masculine, anyone doesn't have to be feminine or masculine, it's okay to not "fit" in a gender stereotype. The point is we're not supposed to, we're just humans.
im still working on this pet theory, but i think its interesting that gender ideology has become so rigid at a time when extremely literal thinking is at an all time high
and what i mean by extremely literal thinking is how people cant seem to grasp nuance anymore. they can't grasp grey areas anymore, everyone thinks in black and white. despite all the "gender is a spectrum" "sexuality is a spectrum" stuff people cant seem to actually think that way. we're living in a time when people need to google "[film] ending explained", when people dont engage with complexity, when they dont actually engage in critical thinking.
so it's no wonder there's this whole movement that just reifies the sex and gender binary, even though people think it's doing the opposite.
TIL men consider themselves to be without human rights if they can’t legally pretend to be women
