Listening to this I remember the scene where yams shouted to tsuki that being invested in volley, “What else do you need but pride?!!!”

Yams is a pretty easy going guy so it’s unexpected that his reason to play is that he doesnt wanna be uncool

And to my pleasant surprise, tsuki the prideful guy, does not agree with yams. He goes on to ask bokuto, whose answer, surprisingly, tsuki agrees with.

It’s that feeling of enjoyment that gets you hooked up in volleyball. Tsuki does not particularly care if hes the best, since he knows it’s not realistic. So what he finds relatable is the everfleeting feeling of, “hooked up.”

Regarding the Amazon Rainforest

I barely have followers here, but here we go:

The Amazon Rainforest has been burning for the last 16 days straight. The Brazilian government says the wildfire is caused by the winter itself, since it doesn't rain a lot there... in a rainforest. It is actually, partially true. Winter is indeed a dry season and wildfires may happen, specially close to the Cerrado (a brazilian biome similar to the african Savanna), but what they're not telling us is that:

The deforestation has increased 80% since last year

The native peoples and animals are being slaughtered for their lands (legally protected green areas)

The government is hiding and lying about scientific data, saying that environmentalists and NGOs are communists trying to destroy the nation. They are brainwashing people to think that sustainability is terrible for the economy

Our Minister of Environment is couldn't care less about the environment and is only there to support the livestock producers and give them what they want. The President and his Minister won't put a single dollar on environmental safety

The wildfires are just so huge that its black smoke and ashes reached the skies of São Paulo, a state over 2.000 kilometers away from the Amazon.

We are hostages or our own government

I could just keep going all night about how our environment is being threatened by this new government. We need every single help we can possibly can.

Please don't let this go unseen. Search for yourself, talk to people about it, make noise, be angry and be scared. Let the world know about it and demand action. This is not about Brazil, is about the planet. The Amazon Rainforest is one of the most important biomes in the world, being responsible for the climate, rains, biodiversity, carbon sequestration and life itself.

how the shigaraki chase deku scene in s6 should have been

when i read the part in the manga when deku realized that it was him that shigaraki was after, and the dread that he felt looking around all the others who could be caught in the crossfire, this is how I've always imagined the scene to turn out in the anime, with katakiuchi as the soundtrack

because it didn't, i decided to do it myself

I love how rin being good at cooking isnt just some kind of added extra to have rin be good at something or like a random comic relief

theres truly a meaningful reason behind it

we understand that even as a child rin already had a lot of strength so he often unintentionally scared or hurt people

this was due to rin’s demonic heritage. shiro wanted to do something about it, he worries what would happen if rin was unable to control his powers.

“wont you use your strengths for a gentler purpose?

that’s why shiro decided to teach rin how to cook. because it can help rin manage his powers while reinforcing in him the value of compassion.

in chapter 12, the reason why he finally decided to use his flames in trade of his secret was so that he could use his powers to protect his friends. “I also want to use my flames in an act of kindness.”

he had this instilled in him from a very young age. cooking wasnt just a random thing, it’s there for a reason. to teach him that his powers could have purpose to it when he uses it to do kindness for others

“because cooking is mental and physical. he needs to learn to control his strength...and to think about who he’s doing it for.”

all along, cooking had its beautiful purpose in rin’s life 😭❤️
