"i want a dislike button on ao3" so you want less fanfic. even if you don't think you want less fanfic you want less fanfic. because when people start getting dislikes on their fanfic they will want to write less fanfic. hope this helps <3

ao3 is crazy because you'll read the most gut-wrenching 200k word slowburn that leaves you sobbing into your sweater at four in the morning and the author will be applejacksmonstercock
knowing that i invoked this with my unhinged ones is satisfying w
website is sekai-stories.vercel.app
i plan on making more for various ships but im too lazy and stacked with work rn
I honestly forget whether itâs canon or not, but I always liked the idea of Saki being very loud in her own right but sheâs just overshadowed by tsukasa, who is as loud as an airplane engine on a daily base
Being a pro censorship ao3 user is so insanely cringe. Either use the (incredibly effective and well designed) filtering system to avoid seeing the shit you don't like or stop complaining. Leave the pro censorship rhetoric to Wattpad or smth
giving âunsolicited criticismâ on someoneâs fanfic doesnât make you cool and your âsuggestionâ is definitely not helping the author lol
what fanfic is is 1.) free, 2.) something an artist writes for fun, 3.) their source of comfort and joy.
unless specifically asked, fanfic writers are not looking forward to hearing your unsolicited criticism, even if you do so âpolitelyâ. by reading someoneâs fic, you ask the author to let you in their house and they let you in. if you end up not liking their place, you quietly leave. you donât start telling them things you donât like about their house.
âbut I was being polite when I tell them their bed should be biggerâ âI was saying it so nicely when I let them know pink did not suit their couchâ no. youâre not helping. youâre just telling them they should adjust their place in order to fit your personal liking. itâs their house. not yours. build your own house instead of telling strangers how their houses should be.
if authors didnât ask for your opinions and if you donât have anything nice to say, be quiet.
im actively waiting for the collapse of humanity ⢠any prns unlabelled arospec
