I think that another element enforced Ekko's decision to return to his world was that, while he clearly enjoyed his time with Powder, she wasn't his. We see it in that while she uses her genius to help Ekko and Heimerdinger develop the Z-drive, she doesn't do it because she has a passion for it, she does it because a loved one asked her to.

In her world, she already has it pretty good. Life is improving for Zaun, she has her family, she has her Ekko who she is content to act more as his assistant, developing the ideas he comes up with. She likes her little lot in life.

But our Ekko's Powder is Jinx, whose mind is awhirl with changing ideas and chaotic imagination. Who can come up with the bonkers idea of turning her hideout into a goddamn war balloon. Who puts her artistry into her weapons, making it more a part of herself.

That Powder was born of general peace and comfort and deserves the Ekko who shares that experience. But our Ekko, the Boy Savior, knows that despite their sordid history, he can relate more to Jinx than he ever could to Powder.

I've been saying this! And yes! That damn "Ladybug *sigh*" thing was absolutely ridunkulous! Good thing I ducked out of that freak show the moment I saw season 4 was going down in flames. And apparently Chatnoir is being left out of team dynamics now? And we're supposed to feel bad for his arse? I THINK NOT! Enjoy y'all show though, and keep living in y'all gengutsu.

After watching Season 4 of MLB...

Specifically “Lies” Imma say this:

Adrien’s so called “love” for Ladybug isn’t fucking love, it’s a sickness. Likewise Marinette’s love for Adrien isn’t love it’s also a sickness

This isn’t love and the fact that these trash writers push unhealthy and downright creepy obsessions as such doesn’t speak well for their characters.

Like Marinette (who I thought once upon a time as cute, adorable, and strong) is cringey and pathetic. Don’t even get me started on Adrien, because I always hated his character. I hate him moreso as Chat Noir because he’s downright fucking obnoxious and every time something bad happens to him I just smile.

Adrien really pissed me off. Especially when Kagami was opening herself to him saying she enjoys spending time with him and he makes her happy and this piece of styrofoam was all like:

“Excuse me?” in such a tone that I deadass would’ve slapped him hard if I was Kagami and would’ve just walked away, never to speak to him again.

I understand Kagami only ever sees Adrien as some “perfect” trophy boy but she ain’t too damn wrong considering how the fucking writers put him on this high pedestal and I bet more than anything we were meant to feel bad for “sunshine boy” Adrien and not Kagami, who has her own plethora of issues she’s struggling through (her mother is a bitch) and her own social awkwardness she has to fight past. And for her to try and pour everything into her and Adrien’s brief relationship only for him to be like “sigh LaDyBuG sigh sigh sigh” was cringe and infuriating. And, once again, if I was any character in the show, specifically Plagg, I would’ve asked what the ever loving fuck was wrong with him. He stood up Kagami, repeatedly made her feel bad and ditched her, and then ultimately broke her heart and this stupid bitch still be tripping all over his tongue thinking about his Ladybug.

Fuck off Adrien. You don’t deserve anybody. ANYBODY. You deserve to fester and rot in your “uwu poor rich boy” loneliness.

BUT THEY’RE MEANT FOR EACH OTHER!!!!!!!!! AM I RIGHT??? :DDDD

I don’t even keep up with the show anymore…. not really. But when Season 4 came out i poked my head in to give it another chance.

Boy was I wrong for doing so.

I almost forgot my best boy's birthday 👀. Anyway, didn't have time to draw something up for him, so reposting this. I'm still quite proud of it 😌.

Whew! I managed to finish in time. I always never finish in time for the day, so kudos to me. Happy Birthday to a very selfless character, who deserves all the love in the world. Happy Birthday Ray!

I also think Luka deserves better, but not in the context of "deserves better from Marinette". Deserves better for me is just send the boy off overseas, and stop making him be the "mediator" to the love square problems. Why the heck does HE have to deal with that? Even if he's nice enough not to see it as a problem, solve y'all on problems.

Why would people would ship Luka with a girl he hasn't even canonically met (Zoe) and look away from a genuinely good friends to lovers ship (Lukanette)?

An eye-rolling mixture of reasons:

1. The visual connections: the highlights, the crazy shoes, the torn pants (Zoe has a small rip in hers), et cetera.

2. Some multishippers (people who ship both love square and Lukanette) are quick to pawn Luka off on another girl so that love square can be their endgame while Luka is still with someone.

3. The above also goes for love square shippers who don't ship Lukanette. It's easy to say, "oh, see? Luka can't get with Marinette because... b-because he's with Zoe!"

4. Spite. Some people want to "teach Marinette a lesson" and have her be "too late" to go back to Luka so that she can go running to Adrien/Chat afterwards.

5. The """Luka Deserves Better""" crowd, often love square shippers disguising themselves as Luka supporters or spontaneously liking/supporting Luka as a way of discrediting Lukanette. Plus, Zoe's rich and blond and "perfect"; Marinette could never hope to compete.

6. The faux Lukanette shippers who immediately stop shipping it now that it's "over" and "not canon anymore" (so they then go onto ship Luka/Zoe instead which is also not canon ¬_¬).

No judging to people who find intrigue in shipping characters who haven't interacted before because maybe they want to play around with the idea just in general or anything. It's just that, when that's not the case, some people have really obvious motives, lol.
