"You're going to miss out on all this media because of the strikes!"
Y'all shot a whole-ass Batgirl movie and refused to release it so you could get a tax break, constantly cancel popular shows after a single season, and remove stuff from streaming while refusing to sell it on physical media, so maybe shut the fuck up.
I hope every major studio and streaming service crashes, all your executives end up permanently unemployed, and that all we're left with is indie media produced by people who can see beyond the dollar sign.
Quietly losing my mind over the fact that Elon Musk has straight up orchestrated a coup of our executive branch and like....I don't even know what, if any, system we have in place to fix this. Like... He's just taken control of the money and locked out the actual appointed officials. What the fuck.

-Do all lovers feel they’re inventing something? I know the gestures. I imagined it all, waiting for you. - You dreamt of me? -No. I thought of you.

This is exactly how I felt after finishing Gideon the Ninth.
I’ve recently read a bunch of the wlw fantasy books like Crier’s War, The Midnight Lie, Priory, etc. and after reading those and how they are written it’s been a complete shock to read Gideon the Ninth which says things like:
Gideon had always known that this would be how she went: gangbanged to death by skeletons.
“Because I completely fucking hate you,”said Harrowhark, “no offence.”
and
“Go choke on a dick”
-all within the first few chapters and I love it
