Draco missed the writing in small script:
Beware to only add .05mml of bauldee extract at a time.
“Fuck,” is barely out of his mouth before the cauldron in front of him blew up.
“Draco?” Potter yelped as the crashing sounds of feet on wood descended towards the temporary lab. He stepped through the door, hair a mess, glasses nearly falling off, and chest heaving with each breath. “Are you okay?”
“I almost died again but it should be fine,” he replied nonchalantly.
“Draco!” Potter yelled once again and started moving forward.
“Stop!” Draco immediately shouted and Potter at once obeyed. “Vanish the potion vestiges, they’re lethal.”
“What the fuck,” he whispered but still complied all the same. “Everything’s good now?”
“It should be.” Draco brought a hand to his forehead—he hadn’t even noticed how sweaty he’d gotten—and continued moving it toward his hair, brushing it softly. When he pulled his hand back, locks of hair came with it.
“Shit.”

Harry was off his broom in an instant, lost in a fantasy of bestowing Cho with a glittering rock the size of his fist. Its beauty would pale beside Cho’s soft smile.
“I knew it would be you, Harry,” she’d whisper, her hair falling in a gentle curtain as she leaned in to—
“Were you trying to kill me with that glorified tree branch, or are you as blind as those hideous glasses suggest?”

Summary: When Andromeda suddenly passed away, leaving Teddy in the care of both Harry and Draco, neither of them knew how they’d manage to live together without killing each other, let along survive as parenthood was thrust upon them. Raising a ten-year-old boy would be hard at the best of times, but raising one who had just lost the only parental figure he’d ever known was another thing entirely. Would it be possible for Harry and Draco to put aside their (very many) differences in order to provide a stable family for Teddy? And what would they learn about each other – and themselves – along the way?

love drawing hc women with disproportionately and impractically huge weapons
A large part of the reason families were bigger in the past was because marital rape was not considered rape and birth control/abortion methods were ineffective, dangerous and/or illegal. We can dance around this and act like our great great great grandmothers just loveddddd being mamas so much that they decided out of their own free will to have 11 children. We can pretend that they DECIDED to have big families because it was a financially advantageous decision so they could have more labor around the farm. But a lot of children in the past were fundamentally unwanted and not conceived out of love, children were not a choice women got to make. We need to admit that and stop pretending historical women were inherently more maternal because they were impregnated at the age of 15 and kept having babies until they were 40. That did not make them loving mothers, it did not make them ‘the divine feminine’ and it sure did not make them happy.
“I just know that something good is gonna happen, I don’t know when. But just saying it could even make it happen.”
