you start camp here and there and your like “oh their friendship is kind of sweet” and proceed to become more horrified with each episode until your sitting there listening to episode 18 like
kayne is if like tumblr girlies actually got their hands on their blorbos to put in the blender
its blood
its blood, the kiss mark is blood and i am ill
was about to make a "gay people can never flirt normally" post about arkayne but realized kayne does actually.
-"my love" and similar: self explanatory. normal flirting
-giving him a dagger: shiny trinket like crow. kayne's not the one who decided to stab himself with it
-helps with his wound in coda and probably also part 28
-watches his entire life in this and thousands of other timelines: he wants to know more about arthur. normal crush behavior probably
-writes and directs a christmas special starring one of those other arthurs: creative expression. like a journal to him i think.
-sends his enemy to hell, kills his enemy-turned-half-situationship, and sends his other situationship to spain (?): he just wants some alone time is that really too much to ask
-plays him a song on the piano :)
-sends him on a fetch quest to the 1200s: he got nervous idk. don't we all
spamming everyone that likes/reblogs this
Au where kayne makes super obvious, unfunny pop culture references instead of his subtle 4th wall breaks and literally nothing else changes but kaynes scenes are so cringe that people stop listening to the show
I..... Hate you...
I hate this.... Kayne is the light of the world and this is a sin
Kindly reminding everyone that when Arthur died on the witch's table, John was stuck in his body. I'd love for John to usurp The Dark World like any other malevolent enjoyer but he might also end up waiting for somebody to hear him in the beaten, broken husk of Arthur's body, no eyes, no hand, no foot, no Arthur
0 connection to the world. only flesh soup.
Villagers - Set The Tigers Free
FINALLY I can post this sketch
got out-horror’d today by a friend because he said what if Malevolent ends with Kayne putting John in Faroe’s dead body
having more malevolent thoughts. spoilers for up to part 51
so, I’ve been looking into the lore of H.P. Lovecraft recently because of Malevolent and it’s triggered some thoughts. mainly about the stones, Azathoth, and Kayne’s motives. also a little bit about Lillith. what everything this season means. whether shes the true evil they need to avoid or not
Azathoth is known as the “blind idiot god.” he is in an eternal slumber, and it’s said that existence is simply his dreams. that waking him could wipe everything. earth, humanity, everything would be gone in an instant.
so in the context of Malevolent.. is this Kayne’s goal? we’ve been told that hes collecting the three stones that harbor Azathoth. is the “end” that the people are scared of not Lillith getting the black stone, but Kayne getting the black stone and waking Azathoth?
Lillith wants the stone to have power… but why? we know she has a deep hatred for Kayne. every time his name is said to her, she gets angry. does she want to take him down? she insists that she is the daughter of Nyarlathotep, not Kayne. does this mean shes a daughter of a Nyarlathotep that Kayne killed? does she want the stone to enact revenge? has she wanted this since Kayne took out all other versions of himself and that is why he trapped her?
I wonder if ultimately, Lillith feels for humanity. she talks about them with such distain, yet she gave Alia such kindness and gentleness, giving her peace. I wonder if she saw herself in Alia. if previously she’d also been used as a tool, and now she wants the stone so she cannot be used like that again. so no one can be used like that again
further with that thought, is Arthur her favorite because he too has been made into a tool? John as well? Arthur lost his eyes, a hand, and a foot. John lost all autonomy. they tools to each other, but furthermore are tools to Kayne, getting him what he wants. does Lillith use what she was taught about humans as a mask for how she really views them? but then if she wanted to help, to take down Kayne, why not say that? because she wouldn’t be believed?
Im not completely sure but I can’t help but feel like Lillith is at least not an entirely malevolent entity
I don’t post very often because I’m often busy with schoolI draw sometimes idk
