I’m starting to sound like a nutcase at work because upper management keeps trying to implement AI programs and AI assistants and Chat GPT and my middle-of-the-road, don’t-infodump, don’t-engage response has been “I don’t like AI”, “I prefer to remain in control of my own tasks”, “I’d rather make my own mistakes”, and “I don’t trust any machine smarter than a toaster”
what is your favourite shape?
whatever's going on inside red cabbage like. i see god in this thing
me: . . . maybe all might isn't as much of a physical wreck as you tend to think he is
also me: alright but if we run with the fact that he was the Number One Hero WORLDWIDE then he must have been through a lot so his face is probably really messed up - little scars, a twisted nose, maybe even uneven cheekbones from getting hit in the face all the time, which would also hamper his vision. also, the injury probably messed up his hip and spine so him having a limp or needing to walk with a cane or crutches or using a wheelchair really isn't much of a stretch. and there's probably spots all over his body that just don't have functional nerves either from damage or general wear-and-tear, so he has these numb spots that sometimes randomly hurt when the air pressure changes.
Lil thing I made to relearn how to draw these guys <3
my boy kouta here telling some truth and doing god’s work, goodbye mineta
i am so easily impressed by trees
Shoutout to Nejire for being one of the only characters to acknowledge Izuku's feats during the Overhaul Arc.
The manga should have let them be friends. For as nerdy and neurodivergent coded as Izuku is portrayed in BNHA, the story sure goes out of its way to minimize his interaction with any weird girls
UGHHHHUHHHGUGHHHUGHHUHUGG i love the overhaul arc of mha SOOOOO much this is my favorite season by far i just love how even though the shie hassaiki operates in “a moral gray area”, they seem infinitely more evil than the league of villains
the league of villains has morals and restrictions, generally keeping innocent people and bystanders out of harm (tho not always obviously)
but the hassaiki seems so incredibly evil for child abuse and trafficking. it’s so bizarre to me how the supposed morally gray villains are so incredibly evil and hated by almost everyone.
i also adore eri and her story, how she truly was saved not just physically but emotionally. and i like seeing how even heroes doubt themselves, how mirio doubted himself about not stepping in and originally helping eri. self doubt and questioning is a true sign of heroism in my mind.
also i like that the league kills overhaul. deserved tbh. i don’t want to see anyone from the league die because they all have potential for redemption, but overhaul definitely did not after killing magne.
If I was desperate for kudos I would not be out here posting villain ships, minor character rarepairs, and other deeply unpopular ships.
I know how to write popular fic. I know how to farm kudos. That's not what I'm here for.
"Readers need to remember that authors don't know a reader liked their fic unless the reader tells them by leaving a kudos or a comment" does not mean "waahhh waahhh I need attention!"
It means "even if writers write purely for themselves, if you don't bother to interact with writers when you do enjoy their work, they might stop posting and just keep their work to themselves."
"If you enjoy a work you should kudos or comment" is not aimed at the people who aren't reading the fanfiction in question.
"If you enjoy a work you should kudos or comment" is not aimed at the people who did not enjoy the fanfiction in question.
"If you enjoy a work you should kudos or comment" is aimed at people who read a fanfiction, enjoyed it, and then didn't bother to even do the bare minimum to share their excitement about it with the work's creator, even though that excitement is literally the only thing they get in return for posting their work.
Fanfiction authors write because they enjoy writing. They post because they want to form a connection with the people who enjoyed their work.
This is not an attempt to scold anyone, I literally don't care if I get kudos or not. It's simply an attempt to remind people that fanfiction is a community, and fan authors can't read your mind.
RIOT for asma’s qlu
