But when he does find the time, Diluc will walk down to the waters near his home, and the two of you will cool off. It's actually rather nice, since some parts are shallow, meaning you can splash around without worrying about slipping into deeper depths. And you can kick water towards the redhead, which then sparks a full-blown water fight.

Of course, due to his Pryo vision, the water practically steams around him, making for a rather good laugh for you. He looks so funny when he's pouty and grumpy like that! He ends up splashing you real good just for that.

Look, you love your Lulu, but it is practically 90 degrees outside, and his body temperature is so high, that you refuse to cuddle him. You do not want to die young. Diluc would turn you into a literal puddle if he applies even more heat to your body just by hugging you for too long. You're just wondering how the hell he hasn't melted. He wears a thick, fluffy black coat for god's sake!

Diluc once caught you eating some of the grapes straight from the vine one hot afternoon. In your defense, you didn't have your daily dose of sugar, and he sucks at having real summer food, so you had to improvise. He's deadpanning at your logic and is seriously wondering if the heat is getting to you.

He lets you drink his stash of deliciously cooled grape juice, and while it's not the ideal summer drink, it's enough for you. Diluc gazes at you while you're happily sipping away and kicking up your legs, with the most lovestruck expression. How can you be this cute?

If he sees you napping on one of his couches, he'll let his fingers graze your cheeks for several beats before gentle carrying off to your bed, tucking you in, and kissing your forehead before taking his leave to finish up any remaining work. Then he'll end up joining you in the bed. you once kicked him off because you overheated

You cling to him all day. His vision makes the summer heat so much more bearable, so you cling to him like a koala just to cool off. He doesn't mind, since he gets attention and he gets to touch you.

While Kaeya is the absolute worst in the winter, he becomes your savior in the scorching summer months. He gets away with putting his cold hands all over you since it cools you down.

Kaeya makes popsicles for the two of you, and you swear that you're gonna marry him. Not only do they cool you down, but they taste surprisingly good. He's practically glowing from the praise he's getting until he suggests making wine popsicles. You do not need him getting his daily alcohol intake through some damn popsicles.

With summer making the temperature rise, Kaeya uses it as an excuse to walk around the house without a shirt. He knows damn well what he's doing, and will do it with that damn smirk on his lips. He knows that his sweaty appearance makes you flustered, so he'll see how much he can get away with.

Kaeya will go fishing with you at the beach, all complete with a parasol so the two of you won't get burned. He thought it was a good idea to freeze the water where the fish were at, and ended up slipping off. You laughed so hard that you ended up losing your fishing rod. You will never let him live this down.

The two of you go swimming when Kaeya either finishes with his work early or he runs off. He enjoys putting sunscreen on you a little too much, and he gets very handy, so you have to smack his hands just so he can put the damn sunscreen on your back. The same goes for him; just because he's already dark-skinned doesn't mean that he can't get burned. He dunked you underwater and you've had it out for him ever since.

If someone needs you during the afternoon, the most likely place to find you is on Kaeya's lap. You'll rest your head on his lap, either napping or reading a novel, with Kaeya absentmindedly running his fingers through your hair while scanning through his documents. If he's drinking a cold beverage, he may let you drink some, but not without giving him a kiss after all his hard work.

ー 𝐀𝐋𝐁𝐄𝐃𝐎

You thought Klee was energetic enough? She's practically on a sugar high the majority of the summer days. Now you know how Albedo feels when she drags you off to blow up some poor fish.

Albedo more often than not uses the summer as an excuse to bring you along to discover more specimens to use, especially by the beach. He'll even draw the scenery in his sketchbook as a way to pass the time, while you splash around the water. He even drew you in great detail and care, but you didn't hear that from me.

Since Klee is with you more often than not, you and Albedo drink apple juice from her juice boxes. It's enough to last you the whole summer, and it's sugary enough for you, so you'll take what you can get.

Flower crowns are a common activity with Albedo since he looks extra pretty with the petals decorating his hair. He doesn't mind too much, and you're 99% sure that Klee did the exact same thing before you came along.

He has a wooden porch swing, and you use it to take naps and listen to the cicadas buzzing away loudly. Albedo will occasionally join you, and you'll use his shoulder as a nice pillow when he does.

Sometimes you and Albedo will be out catching insects of all kinds in jars and tubes. You don't get how the hell he can touch those damn things without feeling grossed out. He looked back to make sure you were keeping up and managed to catch you having a staring contest with a spider that was "too smart for its own good" in your words.

You've definitely dragged him out to go shopping for new clothes, food, or just to get his ass outside. You had to promise him that no, he does not need to socialize with anyone, and yes, he gets first pick, since you made him come along.

ー 𝐙𝐇𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐋𝐈

Since he's still adapting to human life, you can get away with convincing him to do the dumbest shit during the summer. That, and he wants to enjoy his summer alongside you.

He suggests going to farmers' markets, and you agree. It's so peaceful and calming, especially with Zhongli's deep voice comparing product prices with each other, and anything else of note there, such as the dew sprinkled upon the fruits or the vibrant greens of the leafy vegetables.

You've definitely convinced him to let you use his stone pillar as a diving board whenever you go out swimming. You don't know how you managed to convince him to do it, but you won't let this opportunity waste away.

Zhongli teaches you how to bake some traditional Liyue-style desserts, and they do require ingredients either bought from the shops, or they can found in Liyue's landscape. He likes feeding you the final products and will wipe away the crumbs from the corner of your mouth, with a chuckle and gentle smile.

You've got him hooked on ice cream and banana splits, and you have no regrets about it. He once ate it too fast and ended up with a really bad brain freeze, and you had to hold in your laughter, especially with the face that he made the whole time. He's an old man, he's trying

He'll brew tea for you, but you have to specifically tell him to make ice-cold tea since he's so used to making and drinking it hot. He's heard from the young couples that apparently sharing a straw with your lover is the same as indirectly kissing them. All while you're wondering why the hell he's staring so eagerly at your lips then at the straw.

Zhongli will take you to the best spots all around to spend the hot afternoons. When he's not talking about that certain area's brief history, you'll be collecting any nearby Liyue specialties that catch your eye. When a break is needed, you play around with the materials, balancing them on each other's heads or tickling your cheeks.

Xiao isn't exactly one to divulge in, and as he puts it," useless human activities," but if it's you, he'll try. He wants to understand you, and what exactly goes down during the summer in Liyue.

He will accompany you in the harbor, although he doesn't say much. It's fine with you since you get to spend the summer afternoons shopping with the yaksha. Xiao does think that your frequent shopping dates are odd, but he's not one to judge.

His anemo vision is a godsend for you, especially since you run around like a child on a sugar rush. Xiao is giving you a judgemental look just for suggesting that he use his vision just to cool your ass off. But he eventually concedes, and the cool breeze hitting your face is the best.

You once hung upside down off a tree branch, while attempting to see Liyue from a different perspective. Literally. Xiao thinks that you've gone completely off your rocker should he stumble across you, and seriously wonders if this is what humans do when it's summertime.

Sometimes you'll take drag Xiao to the flowery fields of Qingce Village so you can sleep in the flower fields, and collect the glaze lilies that catch your eye. You occasionally steal the apples that are placed in the Morax shine nearby, because that old man doesn't need no damn apples.

Xiao will pluck apples and sunsettia's right from the tree and let you snack on them, and if you insist hard enough, he'll take a bite himself. That's as much as you're gonna get from him before he hands it back and lets you scarf down the rest. Don't be surprised if you find a good amount at your doorstep, freshly cleaned.

Splashing around the waters of Minlin is something that far few can do, yet here you are. Xiao will play lifeguard while you swim in the cool and fresh waters, occasionally coming out for a quick snack, and a kiss for your diligent little yaksha! No he's not blushing

ー 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐃𝐄

Childe can and will drag you to Yaoguang Shoal to collect starconch shells alongside him. He'll excitedly roll up his sleeves and pants legs before kicking up the water and setting off to find the nearest shells and hold them up to his ear.

He's definitely bought kites for the two of you to fly. Does he care about the costs? Hell no, Childe is much more eager to see them fly about and talking about anything that crosses your mind.

You've got him hooked on sharing ice cream with you, and even feeding you spoonfuls of it. It's to the point where he'll "accidentally" buy one bowl, and that the shop is all out of spoons, so you'll have to share the same one. You know that he's lying, but you'll indulge him just this once.

Should there be any festival games, and he sees a cute whale plushie, he's gonna go full competitive mode and win that squishy baby. When he does finally get it, after wasting lots of his mora, he gets to gift it to you. He gets jealous if you hug and squish that plushie more than him, however, and will whine for your attention.

You can bet your ass that this man will use his hydro vision to soak you with water. He will turn it into a full-blown water fight and gets very competitive. And seeing your wet clothes sticking to your skin gets him a little more riled up. Feel free to smack him over the head.

Miniature barbeques are the best with Childe, since he knows how to cook, and the meat comes out really juicy and bursting with flavor. If this isn't his way of flaunting how he's such good husband material, then I don't know what is. You're boosting that big ego of his from how much you're enjoying his cooking.

Childe has somehow made a competition out of hula-hooping, but you're not complaining. You hate to admit how much you've gotten into it since that arse knows how to actually hula-hoop properly. You ended up chasing him with yours because he kept on beating you.

The two of you have a hammock set up, which Scara thinks is stupid, but you're too busy napping away to care. But you once found him asleep in it one sunny afternoon, and you had to contain your squeals because he looks so cute when he sleeps??

You made the mistake of introducing him to paintballing. He has it out for everyone now, and he's practically unstoppable. Even you are not safe from his midget wrath, and he's nailed you twice this week. You once spotted Childe, and the poor man was splattered with paint. Must've been for all those short jokes he made.

You dragged his bratty ass to the beach so you could actually have fun, and he had the biggest scowl ever. Okay but like, who let this man look this cute when he's out picking strawberries with you?? You honestly thought he wouldn't participate too much, but here he is, helping you decide which strawberries are just right. His deep voice helps with the cozy and calm atmosphere as well.

You suggested blowing bubbles with him, and he went along with it. Dainsleif has that excited gleam in his eyes as he gently blows the transparent bubbles into the air. He ends up with some landing on his nose then popping.

It took many hours of coaxing and reassurance, but you actually got the man to wear a swimsuit and go swimming with you. No you aren't checking him out! He just has nice abs is all! Dainsleif may or may not be flustered from all the attention you're giving him. He'll actually carry you on his back when treading through the water if you ever ask, and oh boy do you take full advantage of that.

He actually learned how to make smoothies for the two of you to enjoy?? And they're so damn tasty?? He says that he heard you mention them once, and he wanted to see what it was all about. You're gonna cry from how loving he is.

You take him on picnics whenever you feel nice and soft, and it eventually goes from hand feeding him to laying on your backs and pointing at clouds that vaguely resemble objects from around Teyvat. If you're lucky, you'll even hear him softly chuckle at the odd descriptions you come up with.

Should there ever be a summer rain in the afternoon, the two of you will either be busy crafting something that makes no sense or you'll be admiring the hydrangeas in the rain, while Dainsleif holds you close.

Dainsleif has made the mistake of buying you water balloons. Now you're bent on throwing those damn things at anyone, and you're living in the chaos of it. Hell even he's not safe, and he's had to carry an umbrella just so you won't get his hair wet again. He'd never throw one at you, however, since he fears he would throw it too hard.

ー 𝐓𝐎𝐇𝐌𝐀

He's so energetic, it almost puts Childe to shame with how much he's bouncing off the walls just so you can go to the beach together. Tohma blatantly stares at you when he sees you in your swimsuit, especially if it's a bit more revealing. Feel free to splash him with water.

His clinginess, combined with his damn vision makes for a very interesting outcome. He is the absolute worst in the summer because you're already dying from the heat, and you do not need his clingy ass to smother you in this hot weather. He's whining that you're so mean and heartless by not letting him hug you.

At least he makes up for that by buying watermelon, like an actual genius. You've never been more grateful, and by the time you finish the fruit, your lips and fingers are grossly sticky from the fruits' juices. Tohma may or may not attempt to kiss the taste of watermelon off of you.

Tohma takes you on lazy boat rides down rivers hidden away from prying eyes. The soothing sound of water lapping against the boat, and the lily pads creating ripples on the surface make for a beautiful sight.

Did you convince Tohma that it was a good idea to chalk draw your way across Inazuma? Yes, yes you did. Was it worth it to get scolded by Ayaka? Absolutely. It ended in your chalk sticks getting confiscated just so Tohma wouldn't draw any more suggestive thing on the wall.

You've hiked up the hills of Inazuma, all while Tohma is eagerly telling all about the brief history that he heard about and learned. Once you reach the top, you'll sit and take in the beauty of the view. Tohma lets you rest your head on his shoulder, and he'll let his arm wrap around your body.

Tohma will drag you all over Inazuma and pose for your Kamera in the most eccentric ways and silliest faces. You not only take pictures of him, but you also take pictures of the landscape as well, such as the vibrant greens of the fields, and the seashells that litter the shore. Genshin Boys and How They Comfort You

featuring: Kaeya, Diluc, Albedo, Childe, Zhongli, Xiao, Kazuha, Venti, Thoma

Kaeya wouldn't be great at comforting, there I said it. He'd know how to of course and if it was someone he'd comforted before he would have learned exactly what it takes to calm them and will do so every time. He's adaptive, a quick learner. Once he's gone through having to comfort you once, and being appallingly bad at it, then he will be a pro. He won't have one specific method of comforting, it would be different depending on who needs it.

Diluc, unlike his brother, is naturally very good at comforting. He may be awkward with it at first depending on who it is, but if you're close to him he will not hesitate to stay by your side and calmly talk you through your worries. Definitely the type to rub small circles into your lower back, or try and massage your shoulders whilst you either let out your worries or just bask in his company.

Comfort from Albedo is surprisingly effective. You go to him expecting he'll shy away, or say he's too busy, but he puts everything down for you- regardless of what it is- and sits down with you. The type to go and grab a bunch of blankets and drape them over you both as you cuddle together. You can talk to him about what's wrong or not, he doesn't mind. He's there for you, though, and he'll press gentle kisses to your forehead until you feel better.

Childe is instantly offering to beat up whoever upset you- even if nobody did and you need his comfort for an entirely different reason. You won't get a word in edgeways, he'll have his bow in his hands and be halfway out the door. Literally pull him back and make him sit down so he can hug you instead, he'll hold you close to him until you feel better. No promises that he still won't go out and try to cause hell afterwards, though.

Warm tea is a staple when being comforted by Zhongli. You're absolutely required to finish at least one soothing cup of tea, of whichever type you most prefer (he always remembers your favourite), before anything else. Then, he will hold you close as you either explain what's wrong or simply enjoy the moment with him.

Xiao is not bad at comforting others, simply inexperienced with it. As someone who chooses to stay away from mortals at most times, he wouldn't understand exactly why you're so pressed about whatever is troubling you. However, because it's you, he will bring you softly into his arms and listen to you- no matter what you need to talk about. And he may still not see the point in you being upset, but he'll be there for you as you work through it no matter what.

Kazuha holds you close and doesn't let you go, unless you tell him really seriously that you want him to. You can cry into his shoulder for however long you need, he won't leave your side until he's certain you're feeling better. He'll absolutely try and wax poetic for you if the right words come to him, something calm and soothing that leaves you smiling at him.

When you seek out comfort from Venti, be prepared to be serenaded on the spot. Be it a soft and gentle tune that settles a warm feeling of peace in your heart or a lively, jaunty song making light of someone you both know until your worries are entirely replaced with the sounds of your laughter. He'll listen if you need to talk it out, but his main method of comfort is distraction.

Thoma will pull you into his arms and place gentle kisses to the top of your head, all the while uttering sweet nothings that ease your mind and calm you. When you're ready to talk, he sits and listens intently, offering advice if you need it or instead simply being there. He's very good at just being there for you.

ー 𝐃𝐈𝐋𝐔𝐂

The summer festivals with Diluc are quite interesting. Since he's always so business with the wine industry, you'll have to convince him to take a few days off to enjoy the summer festivities with you. He eventually concedes, since he has been working hard, and you used your puppy eyes, your best weapon.

With the streets of Mondstadt being so crowded due to the festivities, he'll use that as an excuse to hold your hand, so you won't get lost in the sea of people.

You convince him to buy the foods from the street vendors, and as you gobble away, he'll stop you before wiping away any loose crumbs from the corners of your mouth. Diluc thinks that you look like a cute little chipmunk when you eat to your heart's content.

Diluc may seem hesitant to participate in the games that are provided, but he eventually agrees. He actually scores quite high and seems to be surprised that you're surprised he did so well. If you start praising him, he'll avert his eyes and cough in an attempt to hide his blush.

He noticed that you had been eyeing some relationship bracelets. He heard that they were to be gifted to someone you loved as a way of telling them you'd love them forever. Diluc ended up buying a matching one for you, and you excitedly slip one onto his wrist. It seems childish, but the thought behind it makes his heart race.

You occasionally take breaks from the bustling and loud environment of the festival and take breathers in an alleyway. You can't stop giggling because Diluc, despite what he says, is actually enjoying himself. You reward him with kisses because he's so damn cute.

When it's finally time for the fireworks, Diluc finds a good secluded spot for the two of you, and as the fireworks light up the dark night sky, you let your head rest against his shoulder. The colorful and explosive sight takes your breath away, and you can tell Diluc is just as amazed as you are.

ー 𝐊𝐀𝐄𝐘𝐀

With Kaeya, the summer festival is never boring. He's always stirring up something, whether it be good or bad. Kaeya makes sure to flee from the scene with you in tow. He wouldn't want to ruin your date now, would he?

You've had to stop his shenanigans more than once, and had to haul his ass away. You swear you're gonna get a headache from how much mischief he makes.

Kaeya will participate in the festival games playful, not really caring if he scores high or not. But he does make sure to flex should you be watching. He puffs up his chest the whole time with a shit-eating smirk.

He absolutely buys the festival wine but makes sure the two of you are sitting while drinking. If you're not in the mood for wine, he'll let you choose another drink. As long as it's not grape juice. He will judge you the whole time.

If you overheat from the hot summer night, he'll press his hand against your forehead to cool down your body temperature. If Kayea is feeling more teasing, he'll begin to kiss your face all over, and he'll chuckle at your embarrassed face.

Did he just steal a bouquet that was meant for decoration and give it to you? Damn right he did. You wonder if that damn bard put him up to it, or if the wine is getting to his brain.

Kaeya actually takes you up on the Mondstandt walls and sits atop them when the fireworks explode in the air. The two of you swing your legs slightly before he turns to you and presses a chaste kiss on your cheek. The sincerity in his smile and azure eyes says everything.

ー 𝐀𝐋𝐁𝐄𝐃𝐎

You and Klee were the deciding factors in taking him to a festival. The two of you gave him your best puppy eyes before he finally cracked and agreed. But you owe him big time.

Klee is practically on a sugar high, bouncing from vendor to vendor, and you're out of breath from how much you've been chasing after the little one. Albedo is giving you the most subtly 'I-told-you-so' look he's ever given.

The two of you take turns carrying Klee when she gets a bit exhausted, but when the two of you aren't carrying her, you'll be holding hands while you enjoy the atmosphere of the festival.

Sucrose might actually have an alchemy stand set up, and she'll shyly greet the two of you before letting you try out the activities she set up with Timaeus' help, and Albedo giving out his thoughts every so often. Klee got a really pretty flower that took a few tries, but it was worth it.

Albedo buys a really nice dinner for the three of you to enjoy, and a small dessert for Klee to have since she was constantly asking for one. You and Albedo share one, with you feeding Albedo small forkfuls' of it. When he's full, he'll lean against your shoulder, his fluffy blonde locks tickling your cheek.

While Klee is excitedly trying out the games provided at the festival, you're just hoping she doesn't ask you or Albedo, because you know that he would probably stink at it, and the same can be said for you. If either one of you is called over by Klee, the other will be either laughing or just sighing in relief that they won't embarrass themselves.

You and Albedo take Klee down to the docks by Cider Lake, with Klee sitting on your lap. She's incredibly hyper when the first firework bursts into the air. Unbeknownst to her, you and the chief alchemist have your fingers intertwined together as you admire the dazzling sight.

ー 𝐙𝐇𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐋𝐈

This man knows every single detail about the summer festivals that take place in Liyue. Zhongli knows the history of the festival, what kinds of games and food will be set up, and what kind of aesthetics the festivals will follow.

Zhongli is rather eager to tell you all about the history of the festivals, and it warms his heart that you're actually listening and taking in what he says. But what really warms his heart is when you recall details that he told you himself.

You make sure that he remembers to bring his damn wallet, and he does end up forgetting it, you end up bringing it in your pocket. Now hopefully he won't spend his money on overpriced gifts sold at the festival.

He bought simple paper fans for the two of you so you could at least stay nice and cool whenever it gets too hot. The close proximity of the crowd gets overwhelming too quickly, so you're grateful for the fans.

Zhongli actually bought you simple but elegant hairpins, and they were at quite a decent price. He of course paid with his own mora. You were surprised by how beautiful they were, but you can't say that it wasn't pleasant. You let out a happy smile at the sudden but welcomed gift.

He is the one who recommended which dishes to try out, and, well, who are you to say no to this man? He describes every dish in very accurate detail, and what they taste like. By the end of it, you swear that you're gonna go into a food coma from how full your belly is.

When the fireworks begin, Zhongli holds you close to him, his arm wrapped around your side, and when the brightest firework begins its crescendo, he brings your hand to his lips and presses a firm but gentle kiss to it, as a way of thanking you for spending this festival with him.

ー 𝐗𝐈𝐀𝐎

The fact that you convinced this man to participate is enough to get an award. With his rather aloof and offputting personality, you honestly thought he was gonna say no. He questions the fact that you were prepared for rejection, but sighs and just acknowledges it as another odd human thing.

Just to look cute, you bought a simple but cute custom-made hanfu outfit that matched Xiao's outfit color scheme. It was complete with a paper fan. He didn't expect you to look this cute, but here you were, smiling in his direction and bouncing on the walls just to go. He never properly says it, but he thinks you look absolutely stunning.

He stands guard while you innocently hold his hand while exploring all that the festival has to offer. It's not that he doesn't trust you to be by yourself, he just doesn't trust the people that could have ill will towards you. He's doing his best though, so you don't mind too much.

You convinced Xiao to release lanterns with you, that you made yourself too! He gives you a look, but eventually comes around, and watches them float off into the night sky with the rest of Liyue's. It's honestly an amazing sight, so Xiao better be prepared for you randomly releasing lanterns whenever you please.

If you struggle with any of the festival games and they just so happen to require speed, well, Xiao just so happens to offer his help with your weird human games, so you let him at it. You are pleasantly surprised by how good he is at them. He actually won a plush of a certain dragon, and you're happily nuzzling into it the whole night.

When you need an energy recharge, you buy yourself a simple dessert, and Xiao refused any food since he technically doesn't require it. You're too busy to notice the rather gentle look that Xiao's golden eyes hold in them when he gazes at you.

Xiao actually takes you to the same spot where he witnessed the lanterns of the Lantern Rite. His golden hues hold the same wonder as they did at the previous festival when the fireworks show begins. You give him a simple kiss on the cheek as your thanks, and he almost sputters at the sudden affection. Your Xiao is really like a cat.

ー 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐃𝐄

This man is so damn excited just to have a date with you at any festival. If you didn't know any better, you'd think that you could see a tail frantically and eagerly wagging back and forth. Since his homeland is basically a real-world freezer, I doubt that they'd really have any summer activities. So your best bet would have been in Liyue.

Since he's a walking wallet, he'll eagerly cover the costs. Don't have a nice outfit to wear? Well, he bought matching ones for the two of you! Ran out of mora while out buying snacks? Don't worry baby, he's gotcha covered.

Childe is all too eager to share food with you, even purposefully ordering one serving, and make it so that the two of you can feed one another. You're giving him a very judgemental look, but just humor him by taking a bite, and he's physically holding himself back from squealing how cute you are.

He does get very competitive with the festival games, but he can also just buy you a prize, but you're giving him the look again, so he has to earn a prize fair and square. He actually managed to get a fairly medium-sized narwhal plush. It reminds you of him a bit, and it's really squishy too.

Someone had a setup for photos, and Childe is all too eager for that. After a few tries, he keeps the one where you embrace each other with silly grins. He'll take it on his next mission so he can never feel lonely.

If there's any type of games that actually require strategy, you bet that Childe will put the other team to shame. The man is a harbinger for God's sake, he's being paid to strategize. His winning not only boosts his ego, but he gets to show off how clever and smart he is.

Childe took you up to a roof of a nearby building to have a clear and unblocked view of the fireworks. While they're blasting away into the night, he'll press his forehead against yours, gazing into your eyes briefly before giving you quite the loving kiss. It's the perfect cherry on top for the night.

ー 𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐌𝐎𝐔𝐂𝐇𝐄

He'll say no very firmly to your face, and then later yell at his subordinates to finds a damn good festival. They're all scrambling to find one to his tastes, while he's wondering if you'll enjoy your time with him.

You wore a simple violet-blue kimono that reminded you of Scara's vibrant and electrifying eyes. You didn't even give him time to react before dragging him and lightly chastising him for being an arse. When you aren't looking, his eyes are studying your form, without the usual harshness to them.

Did he really laugh at some poor guy that dropped his food? Yes absolutely. If he doesn't laugh, he has a very satisfied smirk upon his lips, while you're questioning everything you've ever done up to that point.

You don't let him near any of the games that can make one's anger and frustration spike tenfold. You know that he can and will try to commit arson on the poor game, so you just do it yourself, regardless of how much Scara tells you that you suck.

When the two of you take a quick snack break, you definitely try to play footsie with him, because he can't exactly cause a scene because of your feet, so he has to sit there and accept his fate. If he tries to kick you, however, he's dead meat.

Scara is actually decently good at making origami, much to your surprise. He seems rather offended that you didn't think him capable of doing such simple folding, so he'll use this opportunity to tease you at every wrong fold. If someone else tries that though, he'll beat them up. He gets boyfriend rights.

The two of you watch the fireworks from a bridge that overlooks a majority of the crowds and watchful eyes. So you'll be sure to get back at him by firmly hugging him and pressing your kisses everywhere. He's hissing at you to let go and to quit it, but you won't let this opportunity go to waste so you don't relent. All while the fireworks burst away and light up the two of you.

ー 𝐃𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐋𝐄𝐈𝐅

He was a bit hesitant at first, but since he knows it's something that you look forward to, he agrees. You, however, insist that he change into something more fitting and that doesn't stand out. Well too bad for him, because you bought quite the handsome suit that is very breathable and light for the summer nights. He doesn't know how you know his sizes but he accepts it nonetheless.

Dainsleif holds your hand the whole time, before and after interacting with the festivities. It's a mix of safety reasons, but also your hand looks so cute and he was a bit shy to initiate hand-holding, but once you notice and hold his hand in yours, he's never letting go.

He insists on paying for everything, regardless of how much mora you brought. Dainsleif doesn't mind, as he'll buy you anything you want, regardless of the price. He doesn't mind paying for your meal and drink, despite your protests. Hell, he'll even feed you himself if you let him. You pout and whine that he spoils you too much, to which he only responds with a breathy chuckle and a heartfelt," Forgive me, but you're so endearing that I can't help but spoil you."

Dainsleif is quite relatively new to these types of games, but you assure him that you don't know what you're doing either, so you can both learn together. He didn't win a top prize or anything, but rather, matching rings. After some thought, you slipped them onto your ring fingers with a tender smile and giggle before dragging Dain off to a new vendor. After that, he's much more flushed and can't stop staring at the new ring.

You bought him a cute little wind chime, that had the same dark blues as did he. It was almost like a cute mini him of sorts. You gazed at it for a bit, before telling him that if he ever thought of you, he could hang up the wind chime and listen to its tune and think of you.

If he notices that you're getting tired, he'll offer to carry you so your feet won't get any more sores upon them. You decline and insist that he doesn't have to. He respects your decision, but he also lets you lean against him to balance your weight back and forth.

Dainsleif asks for your permission to kiss you, wanting your consent first. He'll let his deep blue eyes gaze lovingly into your own before he finally kisses you. Just as the first firework of the night blooms into a fiery and colorful explosion. It's the most romantic thing you could ask for.

ー 𝐓𝐎𝐇𝐌𝐀

His damn energy almost puts Childe's to shame, as he's eagerly skipping up to you and asking you out on a date to the festival. His excited smile melts your heart, and you like the man, so you agree. Tohma is practically telling the entirety of Inazuma about his date at this point.

Tohma bought sparkles for the two of you, so you could enjoy the joy they bring, and you can draw in the air. You had to elbow him just for attempting to draw suggestive things. There are children here Tohma, think of the innocent children. It was still funny as hell though

You actually suggested wearing matching kimono's and he's actually ecstatic about that idea. But his heart was not prepared when he saw how amazing you looked in yours. Tohma refuses to leave your side for the entirety of the festival since he knows others will think the same thing too.

He likes sharing his food with you and letting you take small nibbles. You don't really mind, since, hey, free food, so you take your bites and that's that. But in Tohma's head, the fact that the two of you put your lips on the same piece of food means that you indirectly kissed.

Tohma has gotten a little too competitive with the small games, mostly so he can show off, but also so he can gift you something special. He wants you to be able to remember these moments with him forever.

There was a small play of sorts that was happening, so you sit in between Tohma's legs to save space, and after a bit, he wraps his arms around you and rests his chin on your shoulder. You're too enthralled with the play's plot to notice how happy Tohma is to just be near you.

When it's time for the fireworks, and they've begun to really light up the night, Tohma will turn to you, rubbing the nape of his neck, about to say something when you pull him down for a kiss. He's absolutely frozen until you pull away, happily thanking him for the fun night before watching the spectacle before you. Tohma is an absolute mess and he's ready to combust at this point.

You are like a rare jewel that he thinks he will never find anywhere else, thus he must treasure you with the time allotted for the two of you together, with every chance that he’s got.

XIAO would give you Loach pearls that he probably made into a keychain or a necklace, maybe a bracelet. Or maybe a whole set? Actually, it all depends on how he has time on doing them because he always hangs out with you and he could barely hide his materials when you’re around. Many people are witnesses on his pursuit of a Loach and you’re probably one of them, honestly. When you asked him what it was before, he’ll just shrug it off, saying, “Loach pearls are known for their medicinal properties. It’s just something that I need,” whilst that it true, its purpose was not what he used them on.

ZHONGLI is the gentleman neighbor. Always helping whenever you needed, always greeting you in the mornings when he goes to work and you were also about to do so with yours, or when you two also see each other when you both go home. Sometimes, he invites you to tea, especially when you openly show that you are comfortable with him and consider him as a friend. Actually, he sort of became your confidant. If you had anyone or anything you were frustrated with, it would be his pleasure to hear your worries and rants. He also has a knack of giving you history lessons… he doesn’t really mind even if you feel sleepy from hearing them, he’d find it adorable when he finds you asleep that time he was comforting you through his stories even.

XIAO is the neighbor who glares at you or narrows his eyes at you when you meet his gaze. You always think that he is angry at you, so you never tried to approach him. At first. One day, however, you were walking home alone and he had saved you when some drunk person tried to hit on you. You invited him to dinner the next day in thanks for this, and since then, you found out that he wasn’t angry or irritated at you. He was just… normally like that, especially when it’s someone who he did not know much. The more you got to know him, the more you got curious about what else he would open up to you. He’s kind of like an onion; will sting you a couple of times with his words, but will nonetheless have many layers, but all the layers were a part of him, and you had grown to love each one of them. Before you know it, you will be considered the one closest to him and one of the very few people he trusted. Unbeknownst to both you and him, he was feeling more than that.

When ALBEDO first saw you, he knew immediately that you were intoxicated. You’ve been like this recently and the truth was? He’s probably one of the reasons why. At least, in his conclusion. He’d been noticing that you get like this whenever he would be out for most of the days and despite already knowing you would, it’s not like it’s something he could control. Nor did he think he could control you for your actions since he, at the very least, was responsible for such actions of yours.

Already knowing you were at Angel’s Share, his feet drag him to the pub even though he had been journeying for almost a day from Dragonspine. Diluc, who was on the counter as you and Kaeya were laughing at something together, sends him a look. He just knows that the other was judging him for not taking care of you but it’s not like it’s the alchemist’s responsibility to please the man as well. He’s there for you and you alone.

“Darling? Let’s go home, shall we?” he smiles softly at you, and for some reason, his chest crumpled upon seeing your face lit up all of a sudden at the sight of him.

“Bedo!~ You’re finally here! You missed me, didn’t you? Didn’t you?~” you wrapped your arms around his neck and if he didn’t know the reason why you were drinking at that moment, he would have been flustered at your actions. Instead, though, he keeps up his smile as he says,

“Of course I did, how about we get out of here first, don’t you think?”

By the time you both came home, he already prepared your needs for tomorrow morning, knowing how difficult it will be after a night of drinking. He’s a very patient and knowledgeable man, he just hopes that he could think of a solution to not be away from you for you to drink like this again.

CHILDE has this saddened look on his eyes the moment he saw you—a look he rarely shows in front of others, but upon seeing you like this, it was difficult not to show his true self upon the light.

“Childe?! Baby is that you?!” you say up from your seat and leaps onto him, arms and legs wrapped on his frame. He also wraps his arms around you and lets you cling unto him, even if there may be eyes everywhere, actually. He buries his head by your neck and he could immediately smell the scent of alcohol on you, but it doesn’t matter.

“Yes it’d me baby, why are you drinking here? You should have invoted me, y’know?”

He’s quite protective so he’ll want to be there when you’re having drinking sessions. And if you’re flirty with him, he does the same and would actually be glad that you could still recognize him despite your state.

Unliek popular belief, he may not drink whenever you’re drinking—depends if you force him to, but he won’t drink too much so he could take you both home.

DILUC frowns upon seeing you down another glass, “You’ve almost finished the whole bottle, Y/n…” he frowns visibly, shoulders slumped. He’s terribly concerned not only about your emotions but more so your health. He, above everyone else, knows the consequences of drinking too much alcohol and he most likely will not tolerate you if you ask for one more bottle.

“Oh come on, darling, don’t you love me anymore?” you pouted, even so far as taking a hold of his arms and wrapping your own around them. Apparently, this is one of your tactics to get him to give in to you, but along with the embarrassment of being seen like this and his concern for you, he still doesn’t let in of course.

“This is for the best, my love,” he says softly, maybe for others not to hear or as a sign for him to remain calm despite the circumstances. He’s pretty soft though, he’ll be one of those who’ll be very gentle with you and he has lots of patience, as he had seen many drunks already in all of his life.

GOROU has been busy these days but he already knew you were drinking these past few nights since he can smell it from you whenever he snuggles on your body when he comes home. He confronts you about it even if it was the first time but you still smelled like you drank alcohol the next few days.

“Honey?” he stays that night, not slipping out of the bed during the morning to attend to his job in his worry for you. After all, he already told the others that he may not be able to since he wanted to see why you get drunk at night.

He may be one of those who will know that you have a problem deep inside and he’ll do whatever it takes for him to be able to help you as much as he can.

When you’re in your drunk state, he will be flustered when you try to make a move on him that he finds it hard to talk to you, thus he gives up and just merely awaits for you to be sober in the morning.

He’s actually one of the most compassionate of all, so he knows how to take care of you all throughout the night.

KAEYA is with you when you drink, obviously. Actually, don’t be surprised if he’s the one who asked you to drink it all away.

He flirts with you, all the same, it actually amuses him how you could keep up even with your current state.

He’s absolutely good at wagering with you. You wouldn’t know he was trying to get you to stop drinking and come home early because he was sly about it. “How about this? The first one to get the other flustered will win the bet.”

Of course, he wins in the end because he’s obviously not intoxicated and will be able to control his feelings in an instant, not unlike you who had a couple of drinks already--he’ll actually pretend that he’s drinking but he only does a couple of sips and that’s it.

KAZUHA is fond of ale, of course, he and the rest of the crew were. But when they realized that you were drinking more than you possibly could or should, he tries to stop you modestly. He may actually flirt with you once you start to, calling him “Hey pretty boy,” but the moment he does the same, you will suddenly jerk, as if you remembered something.

“Wait, I have a boyfriend… I’m sorry if I lead you on,”

He chuckles at your claims and will act and say that he is just a mere stranger, willing to help you for the night. It’s amusing that you couldn’t recognize him but still recall your relationship with him all at the same time. However, he is still there to take care of you and make sure that you won’t be having too much for your health.

SCARAMOUCHE scoffs but it was visible in his eyes that you were going through something—not that he knows about it or he should pry on it. Your business is yours alone, but he sure do care about your health—I mean… he cares about how you’d act in front of others! Yeah! His subordinates knows that you’re his significant other so of course you should act properly, at the very least… yes, that’s it.

“Hey… let’s get you back home, you look pathetic,” he insults, but apparently that was not enough to tick you off for you made a comeback at him.

“You’re just trying to get me to your tent, I know you, Scara… why? Too excited for tonight?” you joked, even having the guts of winking right at him, obviously trying to embarrass him in front of his subordinates and still quite stubborn to get away from your drink.

“Tsk, if that’s what you think…” he suddenly hoists you up on your feet and drags you with him, not minding if you were stumbling because he could not care less, “then alright, it seems you’re looking for a punishment, after all,”

He smirks when you instantly turn silent on your way back to his tent. He was just trying to actually get you out of there to prevent further embarrassment, don’t worry.

THOMA finds you in one of the pubs of Inazuma City. He frowns upon the sight and was already by your side, bargaining for you to come home with him. He will try absolutely anything.

“Y/n, how about a drinking challenge? If I win, I’d get to take you home early, yeah?”

“Whattt? But I am engaged! See? I won’t go home with you!” you show off the ring that he himself gave you when he proposed to you. THOMA’s chest swells in pride and softness at your actions but he came there to get you, and after that stunt of yours, he’ll do absolutely anything to win against you.

“But babe… this is me! Oh, never mind. Alright, if I win, I’ll take you to your fiance so that he could take care of you, deal?”

Now it is no surprise that VENTI comes by Angel’s Share every once in a while especially after he had you—meaning, he didn’t go every night just like before. Imagine his shock when he sees you drowning on bottles without stop one night to the point that Diluc was actually the one who called for him to go and pick you up—and the redhead is now sending him a look as if saying he should pay your tab now that he came for you.

The bard merely chuckles to the man behind the counter as he then approaches you, “So this is where you’ve been, windblume!”

Above most, he may have a lot of difficulties convincing you to come back home because not only were you trying to flirt with him but he’s also usually the one who’s in your position before this very moment. It’s new to him.

“Venti, baby, now I understand why you always drink alcohol!”

In the end, he’ll be successful though. He can also carry you back home because obviously, he can use his Anemo abilities—ehem, Barbatos, a little help please?—to do so.

He’s also having a difficult time when he gets home because he’s still getting flustered by your flirtiness with him, but he can actually deflect them back… at times. He didn’t know you’re like this when you’re drunk, he can’t say he’s not amused, but he definitely would want to know why you’re drinking these past few days.

“XIAO~” you called onto him and of course, he came instantly. He was still guarded, but with the way your voice sounded, he was prepared to discard his spear and see your drunk form. You’re like this every once in awhile but he’s still not used to your character.

Actually, he’s probably the only one who doesn’t have a single clue how to take care of you, especially if you’re flirty with him.

“Baby… why so far? Come’re sit with me, yeah?” you tap on the space beside you and he actually obeys you, but he’s stiff the entire time. He knows about intoxicated humans but of course, as someone who never had an actual social life, it’s impossible for him to handle you on his own. He may even ask others how to do so but he’s usually hesitant, not wanting them to know about the situation.

If you do open up to him about your problems, he actually had no idea that you were having such, although the next time you do the same, he’ll actually be more relaxed and lets you indulge in alcohol unless you already had too much.

“Darling, I think you’ve had enough of this alcohol, hm?” ZHONGLI calmly says as he smiles at you and makes eye contact, all the while trying to slowly take away the third bottle that you were trying to finish. He had been there the entire time and he can’t say it’s pleasing to his eyes for you to drown yourself in alcohol, he knows someone like that, but he couldn’t blame you as well. If it is already a part of you, he won’t try to reprimand you, unless it is very detrimental to your health. He will listen to your rants as you drink alcohol and will only give you advice in the morning when you’re sober. For now, he has to take care of you and for him to lend his ears for you as you do the same to him any other day. It’s endearing, actually, how he could sense the truthfulness in your emotions whilst you’re intoxicated. After all, he’s not a mortal and these are things that humans do when they have problems most of the time, it seems.

If you try to make moves on him, it’s alluring for him and he chuckles wholeheartedly at each of them, yet nothing can ever make this man flustered… unless you’re really bold in your drunk flirting statements. No matter how hard you try, this man is a rock--no pun intended.

“Stay here on the bed for a while, let me brew you some tea for tomorrow,” he says, but when you follow him on the kitchen and hug him from behind while he does what he has to do, he won’t reprimand you and it’ll actually make him break a smile and reward you with a soft kiss on the forehead afterward.

“Thank you for waiting for me, dearest.”

MORE NOTES. i’m actually really REALLY sleepy so i’m sorry if you felt that this was rushed. i’m like one hour late from my normal posting sched because i just came home and i’m really tired since we were outside for a long time. i hope you guys understand~ if i made any mistake i’ll be rereading this tomorrow morning when i wake up dw!
