•buy toys/dolls/crayons •play with Legos •play old videogames/dress up games •weave friendship bracelets •watch cartoons •use stickers •draw pics of your favorite characters

If it makes you feel nice, do it. Don’t even worry about what other people think, because it doesn’t matter–if it brings you happiness, it’s not “ridiculous”, or “immature”.

You deserve to enjoy yourself.

And don’t we know it. I find it particularly disheartening when so many of us can relate to this stupid concept and yet still there is no change. We need more affection, period. Why is sexual conduct so demonized, let along non-sexual affection like cuddling or hugs or a shoulder rub? Why?

I'd like to ask for some help from any intersex followers I have (or any intersex folks who come across this post!)

I've been struggling a lot to find proper terminology for intersex issues in my research because Google is all gunked up and Tumblr is just as hard to parse through.

So, if anyone could point me in the direction of any good literature by intersex authors or any good online resources (especially that define terminology) that would be incredibly helpful!! I'm still doing work myself but any sort of direction would be wonderful!

(tl;dr I want to be a better ally to intersex folks in trans feminist conversations about sex/gender and approach my own theory with intersex experiences in mind better! So, any and all resources would be appreciated!)

I do it, I have to. I tried the ‘hide everything just bury it’ tactic and the only thing that I ended up burying was my own sanity and sense of self worth. Holding it in just to appease this fake masculine presence, can and will kill you, as it almost did me.
