I love giving context to children's show with no context I'm so happy
What do YOU think Romeos backstory is. I wanna hear other peoples take on why he became the child that he is today. It is very much hinted in the show that he can be a good kid, and is very kind and sweet when you do meet that side. However it happens rarely, the books say he got bullied but never really cover it much after that. I LOVE YOUR WRITING STYLE. and i wanna hear your take :3
Sadly I’ve never given much thought to it! I tend not to give the kids backstories for the canon universe as it literally breaks my brain if I do. I mean come on, they’re children first of all, why are they out at 3am fighting yk? My biggest question is how is Romeo capable of making these complex inventions at such a young age, and where is he getting all of his funding? He mentions in an episode that one of his inventions was really expensive to make. I know that fanon Romeo is an orphan, which doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me truthfully. For these reasons I choose just not to think about it😭
I really like the book backstories a hell of a lot more than the show that gives no context whatsoever. I’d argue that Romeo’s a bit of a lunatic (obviously) so it’s a little strange for me when they try to showcase his humanity, but at the end of the day, he is just a kid and an adorable one at that. A “good” kid though? Doubtful.
I’m glad you like my writing style! Although I don’t have a backstory for canon Romeo, TTMAB!Romeo was a privileged gifted kid with neglectful parents who give him whatever he wants (funding) and don’t have any clue what he’s ever up to. He’s extremely accomplished, neurodivergent and a bit self-absorbed as you know, so goal-wise he’s never really aimed for more than glory. He tends to see himself as justified in whatever he does obviously.
Thank you for this ask! I love delving into PJ Masks topics.

Oh...
catboy and the shrinker is in my opinion, the gayest episode of pj masks because of this. second is wacky floats.
Romeo and Night Ninja are so funny on their own and when they are together tbh. Romeo giving Night NInja his own exclusive tour of the Flying Factory makes SO MUCH SENSE. like he acts pretty close to him when they team up like in Catboy and the Shrinker and Wacky Floats and in other episodes that I cannot think right now from the top of my head. Like I saw a youtube comment on another video saying that Romeo specifically designed the Shrinker to have two people operating it instead of it being one person to operate it saying that he basically created to spend more time with another villain when they agree to use it when teaming up with him and its kinda silly and funny tbh. Like they act like bros when they team up and its so funny like THEY GET SO CLOSE when they team up like physically close (hint hint catboy and the shrinker hint hint) like even if you dont ship them you can’t deny that they have a pretty close and funny friendship going on when they up together.
OH MY GOSH YOU’RE SO RIGHT😭 I live for takes like these
so like hi I made a romeo backstory fic enjoy ehheh
Villains are Created - Prologue
A scientist and his assistant were working as usual, until suddenly: "AHA! I GOT IT!" The scientist jumped up and down happily, signaling to his assistant to come closer to him. "What is it, sir?" The clearly annoyed girl walked up to him. "I HAVE FINISHED MY NEW INVENTION! AFTER LOOOONG LAST! LET'S PARTY!" The scientist shouted, while dragging his assistant away to the living room of the scientist's house, afterwards, popping a bottle of liquor and pouring both of them a glass. The invention in question, was a humanoid robot. A robot with an ai resembling a human conciousness, and able to think like a human. He and his assistant have been working on this robot for two years now and they are glad that it's finally over. "What is that robot for, sir?" The assistant asked him, while getting herself her second glass. "Actually, I haven't really decided on a concete purpose for it yet but, I'm sure we'll work something out!" The scientist happily confessed.
Do not trust two drunk adults on their own, otherwise accidents happen.
One such accident is named Juliet.
The scientist looked at the baby in his assistant's arms and said: "I have finally found a purpose for Mr Robot over here!" The scientist jumped for joy. "He can be a babysitter for our little Juliet here!" And somehow the assistant agreed. Life was doing fine, until one day an experiment exploded. And it drove the scientist insane, and he stabbed himself. With his assistant watching. She then took Juliet and discarded of the robot.
His little dance here can fit any song I believe he is so silly and adorable
Dancing Romeo spotted y’all!! 🗣️🔥🔥

Villains are Created - Chapter 3
Claire woke up early. Juliet had already went to school. She thought about the science quiz and how genuinely happy her daughter was when showing it to her.
No. She can't let her be like her father.
But she can't handle raising her. She knew that she was a bad mother and did not deserve a child like Juliet. She can't be reminded of him.
She realized that she had to make a choice.
She put a piece of paper on the kitchen counter while packing her bags. Then she made a slice of cake for her daughter and wrote her a note, and snuck some money underneath it. Then she walked out the door. She had made for choice. It's for your own good, Juliet.
She never came back for that piece of paper.
The day of the science fair just so happens to land on August 31. Juliet's birthday. She had been so focused on her robot to remember that fact. But now that it's gone, it doesn't even matter anymore. She watched with horrifed eyes as Charlotte walked up on the stage and recieved a first prize medal for her "efforts". Efforts being clearly stolen from Juliet's own masterpiece. Or used to be masterpiece. It didn't matter anymore since it now remains as crushed metal, a worthless piece of junk, like it's creator. All this bullying, all this pain. She could not handle it anymore. She thought of climbing up that stage and ripping Charlotte alive, but...
Juliet could never bring herself to do that. She was too kind. That's the reason why they targeted her, after all.
So she made a choice. She picked up her bag and with one last look, at everything she going to leave behind, all the painful memories, and all the loneliness-
Juliet then swiftly walked out of the school gates.
As she arrived at home, Juliet noticed a piece of cake lying on the table with a note. She picked up the note curiously and read it aloud. "Happy Birthday Juliet! Mommy needs to go for a while! It's really important so I can't tell you! But I left some money for you, but remember to spend it wisely on things you actually need, like food and water! I also baked you a piece of cake. Mommy doesn't have a gift for you this year, but she is trying! With love, Mommy Claire." After reading the note, Juliet was intrigued and confused. She happily ate the cake while wondering where her mother went this time. As she looked around, she noticed a piece of paper on the kitchen counter. She walked up to it and read its contents.
A copy of a one way ticket to Manhattan. With the name on it being Claire Mecano.
A one way ticket? Why would she buy a one way ticket? She needs to come back. If she's trying to bring home a birthday surprise for Juliet that is.
Then the thought settled.
The reality.
Oh.
No.
She finally figured it out.
This can't be happening.
Her mother left her. Alone.
Just when she thought she was happy and free.
She never liked vanilla cake ever again.
