The hair and beard are for his role as Dr. Murray in A Wrinkle in Time!
Chris Pine attends the ceremony honoring Jeff Bridges with a hand and footprint held at TCL Chinese Theatre on January 6, 2017 in Hollywood, California.
I’m with you. Chris Pine was born to play Kirk! #chris pine #kirk
I post a nice quote about how great Chris is and get people bitching that he shouldn't have been Kirk. Look up. See my tumblr name? Get the fuck out. Thanks.
Really not one of his better moments. Maybe if he ditched the hat.
GQ are on to Chris Pine’s fashion Shenanigans, aren’t happy about it.
Oh no it's not!
Think it’s time to stop watching any new promos, commercials, etcetera…
This is absolutely hysterical!
The adventures of the Enterprise crew in the 21st century
They are amazing, especially since he is so lithe.
reblog if you agree
So totally agree. They were born to play these roles
Can we just appreciate these guys, how perfect they are for these roles and how they have beautifully grown into the characters. Perfect people being all perfect!
Chris Pine! No contest!
Choose your favorite Chris…
Can't tell you how worried I am about this Presidential election. Trump scares the hell out of me. Hopefully, we will overcome. Here's to President Hillary Clinton!
For those of you who think there’s no way Trump could get into power:
My country just voted to leave the European union. An idiotic decision which is already seeing the currency fall and a country divided by fear, lies and racism.
For the first time ever, I am ashamed of my country. I am so tired of old, angry, white people deciding my future. I already didnt have much of one! I already was sure I was never going to own a house. I am already sure that I was never going to have a lifelong career or a golden pension or anything like that. I’m already aware that things are worse and the more I type, the angrier I become.
I cannot believe we let the Brexiters win. The Brexiters who literally evoked NAZI PROPAGANDA in their campaign. I cannot belive what we’ve done. I am physically ill.
I am ill, I am tired, and I am moving. Fuck this shit. I’m out. Let this country burn with its ignorance. I’m done.
Never underestimate angry, old racists. They voted for the Nazis and now they’ve voted away the rights of a generation.
I just put a comment in the like section by mistake. Please go read it. I will say that I totally agree with your comments. Wanted to say that new trek is wonderful, and don't understand the lukewarm reception that Chris Pine gets. He was born to play James T. Kirk. These so-called Trekkies seem to forget the message of Spock's IDIC. And also how tacky [I know I sound like a broken record] the original Trek could be, and how Shatner's over acted, and how bad the first season of Next Generation was. I have been a Trekkie since seeing the first episode of original Trek. There had been nothing like this on TV- a science fiction program that explored not only space, but the moral issues facing our times. I know this dates me, but I've seen everything in the Trek universe through both new movies and can't wait for Beyond.
Ahhh, that post with the gifs is so gorgeous! \*-*/ You're wonderful (also I was reading your tags and am filled with love for them. XD I'm so tired of all the unfair hate new Trek gets too. So many people pretending they're morally superior by irrationally hating on it while ignoring all the plot holes in the past. I adore classic Trek, I'm a lifetime fan, but I can't stand this BS fake elitism from the people who hate any new Trek regardless of quality etc. It's depressing. So yay for love!)
Thank you for saying this, love! <333
Yes. All these years AOS gets so much hate to a point I think people just bash it out of habits. For what purposes? They made it very clear that AOS sets in a different timeline and also in today’s market. While I appreciate the beauty of TOS, they were cast for small screens. You wouldn’t expect to see big explosions all the time in there. And as the days go on, TOS films did get bigger and more action-y. That’s just how movies work. It’s just not fair to compare AOS and TOS. Can’t we love them both at the same time?
I think AOS is doing a good job of attracting new fans in the Star Trek franchise. And let’s be honest, they are quite decent films. I love watching them and I am so hype for the new movie. All three trailers by far are fantastic. I just don’t understand people hating them because they use rock music (come on that’s a reference to the first movie) or Jim riding a motorcycle is too Fast and Furious (like, what? He rode motorcycle in the first one and what do you expect him to do?) or Enterprise is blown up again (I mean… they are in space and if explosions happen, you can’t expect the space ship can dodge the bullet, right?)
The condescending hate is not the moral of Star Trek .
Of course, he’s the best Chris. And it’s about time he’s got his due. And he’s looking great minus the beard.
