And it’s just that one time, a fluke, till the next day. Lucy is listen during a case and hears something particularly jarring. She presses her hands to her ears and starts mumbling “stop. Shut up. Shut up shut up stop-“ Lockwood gently pries her fingers from her head, knocking her out of the trance like state.

“Hey, Lucy darling, it’s ok we’re here.”

new hc that lockwood starts to call lucy a bunch of different endearments and neither one of them notice at all. accidentally oblivious to the fact that lockwood will say “lucy, dear.” or “lucy, darling.” without thinking. it’s a lot of saying her name first and then adding the little endearment whenever he starts out a sentence or a question. “lucy, dove.” “luce, sweetheart.”

george is so close to sticking his own head in the oven when he hears lockwood call her love and neither of them blink. how can two people worry so much about if they’re staring at each other too much but once pet names are involved it’s as if they’ve been married for years? please get him some help.

I need a MSR high school au but it's actually a baseball/softball summer camp/rivals to lovers AU with pitcher!scully and catcher!mulder facing off across a corn field in the space between two summer camps, and then falling in love across the 66 ft between mound and home.

Wild how Mulder was constantly eating Scully out like crazy like super sloppy and noisy too but it all happened off screen. And they never talk abt it in scenes for airtime reasons. But it happened

Au where Scully’s more of a smoker than she is in the show and she’s trying to quit but its like the episode of community where Britta tries to quit and shes in a meeting with Skinner and she just losing it and he’s like “do you need a break…” and mulder’s like “no she’s quitting smoking” and Skinner’s like “can she not…”

At this point i'm convinced Chris Carter's strategy for the entirety of the series was just "I can pretend the intense soulmate connection between those two doesn't exist if no one can see it".

God, the way Mulder screams her name and she immediately reassures him even though she's completely out of breath and just almost died. Then he squats down in front of her and she just lets out the biggest sigh and melts into his touch because everything is fine now that he's there.

How gently he touches her face??????? The smile she gives him?? The silent conversation they have that boils down to "it's okay, we're both together and okay, we're alright" after they spent the entire episode basically going batshit crazy with concern????
