Forced to flee their home in Gaza, Hossam and his family returned to find nothing but rubble—everything they had worked for destroyed. With no other option, they pitched a small, humble tent over the ruins of their house, hoping to create some semblance of shelter amidst the devastation.
Life in this fragile tent is a daily battle for survival. Bombings persist, food and water are scarce, and the safety they once knew is a distant memory. One terrifying night, Hossam’s son Bashar was attacked by rats that invaded their tent, leaving him injured and crying for help. Unable to afford medical treatment or secure a proper tent to shield his young children, including a 4-month-old baby, Hossam now faces a dire reality: how to protect his family from illness, hunger, and the constant threats of their surroundings.

Give a Family Hope for the New Year!
The start of a new year should be a time for happiness, community, and hopeful plans. However, hope is hard to find for families in Gaza, as another year of continued war and genocide begins for them. This includes Mounir Alanqar and his family.
Mounir @sham-moner is only 19, but he has taken on the responsibility of raising funds to support himself and his family throughout this horrific situation. On top of this, he has been recovering from surgery while suffering from hunger and cold.
The rest of Mounir's family is struggling as well. His mother has asthma, which is especially dangerous when warmth and medicine are hard to access in Gaza. His whole family is suffering from malnutrition. His little sister, Sham, has been sent to the hospital previously for malnutrition. She is only four years old, and she has been suffering from lack of food and contaminated water.

Mounir and his family have only raised 12% of their goal so far, and donations keep stagnating. Sometimes they go for days at a time without receiving any donations. They can't afford for this to continue.

alaa's children, maria and hamza, are just six and four years old respectively. both of them have been sick due to different reasons in the last few months. alaa herself had been affected by hepatitis.
alaa has been fundraising for months to try to evacuate her family from gaza. unfortunately, the rafah crossing- the only way of leaving gaza, is closed. on top of this, aid has not been allowed in since may.

My name is Samar. I'm a wife and the mother of three beautiful children. We lived in Gaza, clinging to a fragile semblance of normalcy despite the constant dangers. But even that shred of normalcy was shattered when a bomb destroyed our home—our sanctuary. Eighteen years of memories turned to dust in seconds.
Now, we live in a fragile tent, exposed to the merciless elements, enduring loss after loss. Friends, family members, and even my husband’s cousins have been taken from us. Each loss tears at our hearts, and the constant fear of who we might lose next is unbearable.
We’ve been displaced nine times, narrowly escaping death at every turn. All we dream of now is a safe place—a place where my children can sleep without fear, where they can simply be children.
But the reality is grim. My children are suffering terribly in the tent. Their delicate skin burns under the relentless sun, and illnesses have taken hold—respiratory infections, jaundice, gastrointestinal diseases—all due to a lack of clean water and proper food. Their innocent laughter has been replaced by fear and silence. I can’t bear to see them like this, and the thought of them growing up in a world of nothing but war and suffering terrifies me.
Escaping Gaza is our only hope. But leaving is nearly impossible without a large sum of money. Crossing the border into Egypt costs between $5,000 and $7,000 per person—an unattainable amount for a family of seven.

Major update on Nour’s condition
First, I want to thank you all so much for your incredible generosity. Because of you, we were able to raise $4,000 USD in just 2 full days. I cannot put into words how remarkable this is. When we received word of the refund, that we lost more than $3000, Nour’s family and I were completely without hope. But you all accomplished the impossible.
It is only because of what you accomplished that I now believe we can meet our next goal.
Nour was able to undergo surgery. It was long and extremely difficult for the doctors. The surgery was ultimately successful. However, Nour’s condition is not resolved. The immediate danger has been met, but now Nour requires a new medication and diet to survive.
This medication will cost $2000 USD every week. Her new diet requires she consume 2 eggs a day, so 14 every week. As of right now, the average cost of eggs in Gaza is $8 USD. 2000 + (14 x 8) = $2,112 USD a week

UPDATE: NEW LINK! Yahya and his family were displaced by the IOF, and are currently residing in Deir al-Balah, south-central Gaza.
Life as displaced Gazans was already extremely difficult for them. Food is very scarce, and their living conditions leave them exposed to the elements. Here is the frequent condition of their tent now that the winter rains have come:
Then, Yahya’s father was injured. Some cartilage was damaged in his neck, and doctors say he requires IMMEDIATE surgery to avoid permanent paralysis.
Yahya and his family previously had another campaign, but it was suddenly shut down by GFM with no explanation. They have created a new one, but it has EXTREMELY LOW FUNDS.
The surgery is a stifling €15,000 euros (about $15,729 USD). Yahya and his family have no hope of paying for it without your help.
I am currently watching an elderly loved one lose their mobility, and it is an extremely heartbreaking and isolating situation. I cannot imagine what Yahya and his family are going through, having no social or financial support and only minimal medical care.

Here, my family and I lost everything, and we had nothing left. We moved from tent to tent to preserve our lives. We suffered a lot and a lot. Now, after a whole year of war, I have decided to do a cover-up so that my family and I can travel, preserve our lives, and start over despite all the difficulties that we will face.
