Hi everyone,

We aren’t receiving funds quickly enough for our current spending. Remember: if we do not raise enough, we will have to potentially cut thousands of people off from the Internet, during Ramadan. Let’s not let this happen.

Hey all, Crips for Esims for Gaza has been purchasing E-sims for people in Gaza and need help to continue their advocacy!

We link them in our Hi Nay episodes but want to remind people to help out if they can and donate! They're an offshoot of the E-sims for Gaza program created by Mirna El-Helbawi, and allow you to, if you are overwhelmed by the E-sims purchasing process, streamline it.

You donate to Crips for Esims for Gaza, and they do it for you. Help these fantastic disabled activists if you're able!

Imagine waking up in the dead of night to the terrified screams of your child. You quickly turn on your phone's flashlight to find your son's face covered in blood. The source of the injury is even more terrifying: rats have gnawed through the fragile walls of the tent you call home, and viciously attacked your son, causing severe injury to his face.

This isn't just a story. This is the nightmare that Hossam Al-Qazzaz and his family lived, just a few short days ago.

Story written by @visionsofaselfmademan

The past year of Hossam Al-Qazzaz’s life has been one of unimaginable hardship and resilience. Forced to flee their home in Gaza, Hossam and his family returned to find nothing but rubble—everything they had worked for destroyed. With no other option, they pitched a small, humble tent over the ruins of their house, hoping to create some semblance of shelter amidst the devastation.

Life in this fragile tent is a daily battle for survival. Bombings persist, food and water are scarce, and the safety they once knew is a distant memory. One terrifying night, Hossam’s son Bashar was attacked by rats that invaded their tent, leaving him injured and crying for help. Unable to afford medical treatment or secure a proper tent to shield his young children, including a 4-month-old baby, Hossam now faces a dire reality: how to protect his family from illness, hunger, and the constant threats of their surroundings.

Hossam’s plea is simple yet urgent—he hopes to treat his son Bashar, find a safer tent for his family, and ensure his children can sleep without fear of rats or stray animals. Every donation, no matter how small, can help Hossam rebuild a safer life for his family. Your support could provide the relief they so desperately need and bring hope to a family struggling to survive in unimaginable conditions.

Help Hassan secure safety, medical care, and the bare essentials his family needs to endure this crisis.

Please consider donating to Hossam’s GoFundMe, [HERE].

I am Falestine, Jad Al-Haq, I am 37 years old, married, and I have a eight-month-old child named Youssef. I gave birth to him during the war during very harsh conditions that no human being can bear. I moved from the hospital immediately after giving birth to the tent in which we were staying after we were displaced to it after the Israeli bulldozers completely bulldozed my house. and my suffering did not start from here. Rather, it began since the beginning of the war, and I am still suffering. I cannot provide enough milk for my baby or diapers. Even medicines and vitamins are not available.

I ask you for your urgent help in disseminating the link to my family and communicating it to people interested and able to help us.  I didn't want to do it, but the tragic situation we are living in is what pushed me to do it.  I feel sad and helpless, after we had everything, we are now homeless on the streets, living in a tent next to a dilapidated public toilet and there is sewage, dirt and waste everywhere, we sleep on it!  We suffer from terrible heat, insects, scorpions, the danger of death, bombs and missiles, in addition to hunger of course, the danger of pollution and terrible diseases, especially the digestive, respiratory and reproductive systems!

.  My father and mother could not bear it any longer. My father had a stroke after losing his home and his place of work, and my mother suffers from chronic diseases and needs treatment.

Do you have the right to imagine that when you spend your life building for yourself and your children to live a decent life, all of this disappears in the blink of an eye, and now when you reach the age where you should rest, you are forced to start again!!?  But the most important thing now is to try to survive and protect your children from all the factors of death that surround us!  I ask everyone who has humanity or conscience to feel our situation and put themselves in our place.  How can someone who has lived with dignity all his life accept this?  We are slowly dying every day.

Your donation, no matter how small, can have a big impact.  It can provide a meal for my little one, a clean bottle of water, or a moment of safety under these difficult circumstances.  Every donation brings with it a ray of hope, alleviating our suffering and giving us the strength to face a new day.

I ask you to donate and support the steadfastness of the Gazan people, and share this campaign with your friends and families.  Together, we can make a difference and help my family get through this ordeal.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity and support.

Warm greetings,

Falestine

We all know that things are really dire in Gaza and food is super expensive. But exactly how bad are things?

Source: How much does food cost in Gaza? (Al Jazeera)

Basic necessities in Gaza can get up to 300% their usual price. 1 kg of sugar can get up to $60 in Gaza, and other foodstuff like fruit and vegetables can be even more expensive! And prices are only going up! Now can you see why I am so worried about Mahmoud's 17 family members (@mahmoudfamily1) in Gaza? He has 10 children in Gaza right now while his gofundme campaign barely has any donatioins, and has only managed to reach 3% of its target even though he has had it since May!

And it's not just food. Tent supplies and materials are also really expensive. His family had to spend $900 just to make sure the tent can better shield them from the cold and the flooding, but their tent was completely destroyed in a bombing! Now they have no shelter, nothing to protect them from the cold and heavy rain of the coming winter. With food and other necessities so expensive, this is a very huge blow to the family!

They have already lost relatives, including a 1-month-old baby, to the bombing. I worry for the 10 children, they are so young. With basic necessities getting up to 300% their usual price, I really don't want these young children to have to choose between having the medical supplies to treat their wounds, being warm, or having food to eat!

Only $2,656 CAD raised of $80,000 target! And last donation was 18 hours ago!

That is equivalent to only 44 kg of sugar in Gaza, and that's before you take into account the 4% cut gofundme takes, and the high international transfer fee, which can get up to 40%! Moreover, 1 kg of food like vegetables and fruits can cost more than $100!

This campaign is #117 on @/gazavetters vetted list. Also vetted by association!

Please help them! As an incentive to donate, I'm also hosting a freshwater pearl phone strap raffle to raise funds for this campaign (UK only)! Click here to enter after you donated!

Anas Basil @anas-basilgaza reached out to me. He was going to start studying in college. He also has a 14 years old brother Ahmad. Genocide shattered all their dreams. Anas wasn’t able to start college, and Ahmad hasn’t been able to go to school for 2 years. Anas and his family had to evacuate from their home to Rafah. Now they have a fundraiser and they need help to reach the goal. They need funds to evacuate to Egypt, for feeds for university and school, and to help him and his family to get food, shelter, rent, medicine, clean water and other basic necessities.

The fundraiser has been verified by @/gazavetters and it is number 83 on their list. It has also been verified by @/90-ghost here and by association here. €13,866 has been raised out of €29,000 goal. Donations have slowed down significantly recently.

Please share the campaign, and donate too if you can, to help Anas reach the campaign goal! 🙏 🇵🇸🍉❤️

Imagine the heartbreak of explaining to your young daughter why her beloved toys are hanging from a ceiling, cruelly arranged in a grotesque mockery of innocence.

Imagine The Heartbreak Of Explaining To Your Young Daughter Why Her Beloved Toys Are Hanging From A Ceiling,

@kholoodgaza

Now imagine trying to explain to her why the soldiers who are destroying your entire world are not only causing unimaginable devastation but also taking their monstrous cruelty further—ransacking bombed and abandoned homes, mocking their victims by posting vile acts on social media, playing with women’s intimate belongings [LINK], and hanging dolls in the bedrooms of displaced children [LINK].

Can you fathom trying to make sense of such hatred to your 2-year-old daughter?

This is not a scene from a nightmare or a work of fiction—it’s the chilling, heartbreaking reality faced by 29-year-old Khlood Smeer and her family in Gaza.

Stripped of their home and belongings just two weeks before the birth of their son, Khlood, her husband Khaled, and their two-year-old daughter Amira have been forced into a daily battle for survival amidst the horrors of war.

Khlood and Khaled, both professionals—a physiotherapist and a paramedic—are now navigating the unimaginable: raising their newborn son and toddler in a war zone where basic necessities are nearly unattainable. Inflation has made food and medical care almost impossible to afford, leaving them reliant on the kindness of strangers to provide their children with even the bare minimum.

Now, consider this: as they endure these hardships, they are met with psychological torment from acts like the ones described above. These images, shared widely, are not just haunting remnants; they represent a cruel reality, designed to strip survivors of their dignity and hope.

Yet, Khlood and Khaled fight on—for their children, for their survival, and for a future that doesn’t feel like a waking nightmare.

Your contribution, no matter how small, could be the difference between despair and hope for this family. Every dollar helps Khlood secure food, shelter, and safety for her children.

Let’s ensure that Amira grows up, not haunted by memories of the cruelty of soldiers, but inspired by the generosity of the kind-hearted strangers who chose to stand with her family in their darkest hour.

Please consider donating to Kholood's GoFundMe, [HERE].

Kholood's campaign has been vetted by @gazavetters, and is (#337) on the list.

UPDATE: 12/23/24

Please, help this precious family survive. 🙏💔

Their GoFundMe has been stuck at $544 out of $5,000 for several days now.

Imagine the desperation of watching and waiting, hoping for someone to donate so you can buy food and baby supplies for your children. If you can’t donate, please share their story—it could make all the difference.

I am Nada, a Palestinian from Gaza 🕊🇵🇸🤍

Sorry if I sent you again

Please do not ignore my message, My family and I are alone and broken. 🥺🥺💔

I need your help if you can 🙏🏻🙏🏻

"Our campaign is almost stagnant and walks very slowly. Please contribute with us. We want to reach our goal as soon"

We have earned so little over so long a period of time. We are supposed to earn so much more.

We still have 75% to go of the road to save my family.

The remaining amount looks too far, but our challenges increase heavier every day. My family deserves an opportunity to live in safety and dignity, and your generosity is our only hope to achieve this.

I ask for the humility of your help in bridging this gap. Please think about donating everything you can, even the smallest amount, to help us rebuild our lives. Every contribution makes us closer to a better future.

Together, we have given us hope in our darkest time, and we are grateful forever.

Thanks with all my heart 🥺🥺💕
