Envy shenanigans cuz I want to use him as a dress up doll
That silly headcanon about Greedling purring in his sleep, or maybe just outright purring has me thinking about Greed and Ling having this adjustment period to their new body.
Greed being in a smaller body and a new face with possibly a hyperactive metabolism. Ling having to get used to weird inhuman features like sharp teeth, fighting with carbon-fiber coated hands with claws, slit pupils, experiencing entire limbs regenerate when cut off, the ultimate shield, and maybe yes weird stuff here and there. Even if he isn’t in control he may be experiencing all the sensory input of all that.
It would be awkward and surprising, even if Greed doesn’t remember his previous body there may be subconscious things he does recall; but he was still able to maneuver well minutes after taking Ling’s body.
Ling might find it very weird but exciting in his own silly way.
Now of course if you add silly headcanon additions like purring it would really nail that down.
i'm a dirty rotten girl!!!
im all about reciprocated edling (bc im delusional) but i think painfully one-sided edling is objectively funnier. like
Ling: greed let me have my body for a second. it's important
Greed: huh? we're just sitting around. nothing interesting is going on
Ling: i don't have to explain myself to you can you just do it
Greed: ...alright
Ed, the second Greedling's face changes slightly: oh ling is back. hey
Ling: hello have you ever kissed a boy before follow up question would you like to
Ed:
Ed: what?
Ling: .nevermind [immediately recedes back into his mind and shoves greed back in the drivers seat]

genuinely, the best thing about Roy and Hughes' friendship is that Roy is a brutal pragmatist who is haughty, ruthless, and often cold and Hughes is a goofball who is always friendly, cheerful, and welcoming, but Roy is the hopeful idealist and Hughes is the cynical realist
infuriating that it's been 15+ years and so many people still get Roy killing Lust wrong
"it's ironic that Lust was killed by a womanizer" "Lust was killed by a man who lusted after power" NO! Lust was killed by a man who did it because of love.
It's ironic that she was killed by a man who uses his (false!) public reputation as a womanizer to conceal the fact that he is one of the most steadfastly loyal people in Amestris. It's ironic she was killed by someone whose entire motivation revolved around gaining the power to help others. It's ironic that he killed her for threatening his people.
Lust was killed because Roy refused to let Havoc die, because he refused to let Riza throw away her life. He killed her because he refused to die without making sure the people he loved were safe. Lust was killed because of love. That was the point.
i'm a dirty rotten girl!!!
