So the idea that abilities in bsd are trauma based is basically canon yeah? Maybe just high stress or something like that... but it seem pretty damn canon.
Like-
We have Kyouka who just flat out inherited her mother's ability.
We have Chuuya who (this is near speculation) at the age of 7 had an ability and a calamity god after being basically tortured.
We have Atsushi who's ability manifested while being tortured.
We see Yosano developing her ability through her trauma.
Akutagawa was a orphan who needed to protect himself and his sister and he got a guard dog of an ability. His ability continues the development, adapting to abuse.
Even Steinbeck went hungry with such a large but poor farming family, and he got an ability that grows plants, crops and the such.
Some may seem redundant, like Kunikida. But someone with high anxiety (which he definitely has) could feel large amounts of stress (especially when young) if they don't have the things they need...
And then just for myself. We know little about where Dazai came from. But let's think. His ability turns off other abilities. Maybe he suffered great harm at the hands of an ability user through their ability...

So as we know the whole 'being in the mafia' thing, was because dazai wanted to find a purpose in life. So, I was thinking, that dazai's suicide attempt, where mori found him first (I believe its a headcanon and not actual canon) and dazais first(?) reason to attempt at all was because he thought 'the whole purpose in life is to die, right?' or maybe something like 'if I have no purpose, then why not die?'. Like something along those lines, yk?

Can we talk about how genuinely terrified kyoka was of mori? The first thing she did after she saw him was scream. Idk sometimes I just think about it, what image she has of mori and what she knows to get that image.
and then I think back to dazai, because if mori is afraid of dazai and everyone is afraid of mori, how truly fucked is dazai actually? I've read fanfics where people got his sense of fucked pretty good but I feel like there's probably more. I mean my man's tortured people before, probably threatened a lot of governments and political figures. 'S just something I think about from time to time.

My hyperfixation shifted over to fma and I've got 34 h a week on ao3, it is probably mostly hp x fma crossover fics. Its mostly sans but also grillby centric and honestly just on big headcannon that doesn't necessarily change the game but a little of the characters and designs so I call it an AU

Itachi literally said that his hands kept Sasuke away and while doing this he was lying all the time. He never played with Sasuke even if he promised to do it, when he died and said it was finally over, he later came back. Lies after lies. These two fingers are nice way to say no to a child. They create this barrier between people but in a way that it is not rude.Â
Look at Sasuke’s face, do you think it is the face of a person that knows it means I love you? This expression screams is that it? It was not enough for him and later when Itachi came back he told him about it. Then Sasuke finally understood what was the meaning behind this poke and why Itachi did it. Yes but she blushed because her crush touched her. It was the first time he gave her some sort of nice attention and made physical contact with her. But for Sasuke it was a way to say ‘I don’t want you on my journey but thank you for asking and maybe we will meet again’. And of course Sasuke lied because he never came back and she had to chase him… Itachi legacy is still strong 🤣 You want to know what is the real love gesture?Â

And it is emphasis by the words I will love you forever. Now compare Sasuke’s face here and in the previous panel with Itachi. Here Sasuke finally understands Itachi and his love for his little brother. After this panel Sasuke never questions his brother again. Moreover, as Itachi said his two fingers kept Sasuke far away so now he touches forehead with him, there is no barrier between them, no distance, no more lies, just love.Â

Who will mori choose to go back to the pm?
I think that the 3 best candidates would honestly be dazai, kyoka and tanizaki.
Dazai and kyoka for obvious reasons, tanizaki because his ability is very useful in crime oriented business. We've seen tanizaki get violent multiple times in the show, altough to protect kr revenge his sister.
Now my thought process with dazai was, that firstly because we've already seen dazai in the pm, he wouldnt go back. It's been done, we've basically completed the demon prodigy saga. But now, after taking into consideration how dazai acted with fyodor and chuuya, and from what we know also killed chuuya. I'm not sure if the ADA can take dazai back. I mean in the end, he did take a life, and I think that at least kunikida wouldn't be ok with that. Which obviously would let mori have dazai vulnerable, his colleges are confused on what they should think of dazai now, after he's slipper back into his 'demon prodigy mask' (you can see the way he acts and the plans he puts in motion become more and more violent and cunning (angos car crash, chuuyas DEATH)) so idk it seems like a very real option.
And kyoka, well it could be a whole arc. Kouyou being shown that you really can't escape the mafia, kyoka being back in the mafia losing hope, the ADA trying to get kyoka back, basically starting war with the mafia. I think it's less likely than dazai or tanizaki, but again, still and option.
And I just thought about, what if they took ranpo.
That would be such a shitshow. It's basically two elise's in the mafia.
This is just kinda a brain dump, it doesn't really make sense I think and I have described my thoughts very very vaguely but my brain feels like it's moving faster than my hands and bla bla bla
