I think Cody getting mauled by a bear in S1 was planned by Chris.

Chris very obviously rigged Total Drama Island in Heather's favour, this is a widely believed theory.

Plot armour saves her by:

•Lindsay getting auto-eliminated because she got 2nd place

• Her getting immunity idols at convienient times

• Owen being "tricked" into voting for Justin

•Cody getting mauled by a bear

Cody getting mauled was a coincidence, right?

Well, Heather and Beth's fighting made the team lose, meaning it was her fault Cody got eliminated. Chris knew Heather's team would be losing and in order to protect Heather's spot in the game I believe he set a bear out near where he knew Cody was.

In The Big Sleep (episode 3, season 1) Gwen asks Trent what his favourite song was. Trent says "uh...She Would Be Loved." I take the assumption that the name was slightly altered due to copyright, because I found the song "She Will Be Loved" by searching "she would be loved". I checked the year it was made-2002. Total Drama Island happened in 2008, so it checks out. So I believe that Trent's favourite song is She Will Be Loved by Maroon 5.
