NEW POST HERE! Finally done with this piece, but actually I remade it bc in middle of process I started to hate that thing so..REMAKE AND IT LOOKS MUCH MORE LIKE QI THAN IN FIRST ATTEMPT. Also to mention I was so much inspired by @razberry-slice artworks!! His works gave me the desire to draw again.

Though many people (including me) like to think that Mr. Qi is a human who drinks too much iridium milk until his skin turns blue, it's very likely he is an alien...

Look at these NPCs and tell me that they are not aliens. THEY ARE. When I saw them, the first thought was that they're aliens chilling out on earth. Think of anime Keroro Gunso. Earth is just another vacation spot for them, and the casino is like an alien-owned business, founded by alien, for aliens.

This is why Mr. Qi wants to keep the club exclusive. This place only welcomes the minds that capable of comprehending something beyond the mundane. Take Welwick for an example. She's a psychic, so she is naturally accustomed to the supernatural.

Now, when Mr. Qi says that he "was born an ordinary boy," we tend to think that he was born a normal human. However, an alien boy would say something like that too. Being born in his own species is nothing special, it's normal. Just like how we're alien to an alien. In their eyes, we are extraordinary, and they are ordinary.

This is why he takes interest in Skull Cavern, Desert dragon, and other stuffs. To him, Earth is enticing, fascinating, exotic.

I personally like the idea of him being human more, since it adds to his obession on perfection and struggle to escape from his own humanity. However, being alien has its charm too.

dunno why but ive been thinking a lot about him setting everything up before the farmer arrives. maybe because i have created my fair share of ridiculous scavenger hunts and i think they are Very fun.

On the topic of my Toodles design, might as well most some messy doodles of the girlie!!! I have like SOOOOO many different ideas I want to try out with her design. When I first brainstorming what I wanted to do with her, I had this thought that was like, "Quoodles is basically Toodles' Minnie equivalent, but could she also be considered his Martian equivalent? Considering her debut episode was Space Adventure??? I don't know, but it sounds like a banger idea!!" So, I've just been drawing a bunch of space dresses and trying to find something I REALLY like while trying to apply the overall theme I plan on moving forward with for the other oodles. Idk we'll see :P
