Expanding on this, I'd just like to say that if we call people stupid for hating Mabel, they're not going to want to listen to us when we explain why she doesn't deserve the hate.
well, just explored the "mabel pines defense squad" tag
there were a lot of strongly worded posts
Oralie: in your opinion, what's the height of stupidity?
Bronte: hey Kenric, how tall are you?
Everyone post a random picture from your gallery, this is a tag game yes

Everyone needs a Mabel for their dash.
I've done a pretty bad job balancing Dipper's confidence and snarkiness with his anxiety in my Mindscaperers series, so in upcoming chapters I'm going to try and rectify that.
While I write the final two chapters have a quote from Chapter 12, which is fully written but I don't feel like the battle is impressive enough for me to post on its own:
"We lived through an apocalypse and stopped it. We have faced zombies and ghosts and interdimensional nightmares. If Mabel and Pacifica want to, they can and will destroy the [sentient chess pieces'] government.”
Hey, I do the "grammar, Stanley" to my brother all the time! I was kinda disappointed when he didn't go "IT'S YOU" when we reached that part of the show ngl
Dear Gravity Falls fandom,
Do you really think the scientist who spent years building an interdimentional portal in his basement while also researching tons of anomalies, would wear a TRENCH COAT?? Well, here's my autistic ass's "Errmm, acshoeally, he wears a duster, not a trench coat.". Makes a lot more sense, right? RIGHT???
Sincerely,
A very autistic person who would totally pull a 'Grammar, Stanley' on their sibling lmao
I don't know what this is
But it made me laugh
Somebody else probably did this already but whatever
Rip Axel. You'd love ice cream cake.

I joined Ao3 about a year ago and so I'm finally writing a sequel/companion piece to Abyss, my first fanfic, which I wanted to turn into a series of one shots. There will be much punching involved.
Also, 3 of my stories have reached 100 kudos and I am very happy. (One of them was written anonymously.) And my word count has recently passed 150,000 words. I'm just happy about this stuff!
once pacifica moves out a little after she turns 18, her senior year at the private school her family owns isn't quite finished yet, and they expel her before she can graduate. she ends up having to get her GED later, and while studying for it, she finds out she has a lot of gaps in her education because of how carefully controlled the private school's curriculum was
i think she's pretty good at math and there wouldn't really be a political reason to regulate math so she doesn't have trouble with that subject when she has to study on her own to get her diploma. it's stuff like history and english she has to catch up on
she took grammar lessons for sure but her literature lessons were always on stuff like Shakespeare (worth reading ofc but he has some plays that are very Safe and easy to teach without social ramifications)
and you KNOW her flash cards for studying are all colorful and sparkly and covered in stickers because the pines twins had a hand in making them. i think dipper wrote the cards to begin with so the handwriting is neat and tidy, but after he would write one, he would pass it to mabel and she would decorate it. they do this as a surprise for paz cause they know she has a lot of work to do and when they present the cards to her she has to try not to cry because she loves her friends and she's also been awake for 18 hours
