Everything begins to fall into place for the alliance and the City of Progress does something it hasn’t ever done before.

Mentioned this in a reply on a different post, but thinking about doing a Hades/Persephone CaitVi oneshot, but definitely with a twist (definitely not focusing on the original Greek version lol). Maybe after the next chapter is out 🤔🤔

So, I love my job, but I don’t want to go today because I just want to keep writing 😭🤣 the next chapter of “Tethered” is going to be fun to write and I would rather do that.

Okay, I have the day off and outside of a few around the house things, I will be working on the next chapter :D hopefully I'll have it out by the end of the day :D

I’m going to try to get the next chapter of “Heart Made of Glass, My Mind of Stone” today, but it’ll most likely happen tomorrow. Fingers crossed I don’t have too much to edit.

I have 4500 words of the next chapter written, but the Vikings are currently losing and I'm annoyed lol. We'll see how much I'm able to focus if we lose the game :( maybe writing will help get my mind off of it

Vi swallowed and nuzzled close into Caitlyn’s hair. “Are you ready to talk about it?” There was a long silence, so long that Vi wondered if Caitlyn had fallen asleep. “No,” Caitlyn finally whispered. Vi hugged her closer and buried her face in Caitlyn’s neck, the scent of pansies calming the fear that hadn’t truly left her since that night in the Wharf. “When we are ready, can we promise we’ll come to each other first. No holding back?” Vi pleaded, her voice shaking with emotion. Caitlyn brought Vi’s hand that held hers up to her lips, where she kissed every knuckle. Vi felt her own lower lip tremble. “I promise.”

Vi suddenly wished she could freeze time in that very moment of Caitlyn laughing in Vi’s childhood bedroom before everything would change and there was no going back. She raised her hand and pushed Caitlyn’s hair behind her ear, then cupped her cheek. Caitlyn sighed and gripped her fingers, pulling Vi closer as she kissed her palm so tenderly it made the back of Vi’s eyes burn. “I could never have done this without you, Cupcake,” Vi whispered. Caitlyn shook her head. “You are so strong, Violet,” she replied and brought a hand up to Vi’s chest, laying it over her heart. “And you love so fiercely. You are the daughter of revolutionaries. You don’t need to make it worse,” she spat, sitting up and looking Cassandra in the eye with a stubborn furrow of her brow. “Vi, it’s okay,” Caitlyn whispered, but she ignored her and just glared at Cassandra. The woman met her gaze, but narrowed her eyes as they darted back and forth between the two teenagers suspiciously. “You two are getting on strangely well considering what you said when I was here last,” Vander observed, also looking at them curiously. Neither of the girls said anything. People knew about their shared emotions, but talking about it with others seemed almost wrong. Too personal. Vi looked at Caitlyn and they both sent through the tether a mutual understanding to not discuss it with others unless they had to.
