Somebody has almost definitely already thought of this, but they have big Shang and Mulan āIāll Make a Man Out of Youā energy.
At least the coyotes and the newts have no idea what's going on
In the midst of a war between turians and the humans, Garrus and Shepard are tasked with entering into a political marriage that will fortify peace negotiations. All they have to do is pretend to be star-crossed lovers and keep their heads down outside of publicity interviews. That, and Shepard has to keep Garrus from imploding every time he thinks he's offended her, which is basically every five seconds. Oh, and the smallest amount of treason.

My Question/Huntress JLU headcanons
Huntress is (obviously) the more physical one in the relationship. She has no problem with physical projections of affection in public (kisses, hugs, cuddles). The question is more reserved, although she passively accepts his moments of affection even in public. He was not used to receiving affection, and he liked it more than he had imagined.
The fact that she had been in a relationship with a guy who needed to be very patient helped Helena a lot with her anger and patience issues. Over the months she became calmer thanks to Vic's influence.
The question was terrible with many social interactions, especially the most personal and intimate ones. He had no family or siblings. He learned certain jokes and interactions throughout his adult life, whether in his work as a reporter or as Question just by observing others. Which explains why he never understood many of the things Helena was referring to (most of them romantic, or sexual in nature) and even less the jokes Green Arrow made (making jokes at his expense).
He really had no idea that she didn't consider their "dates" to be "real" dates. Vic also changed after he started dating the famous (and infamous, just like him) Huntress. Now he had company on most of his quests in search of the truth, and CADMUS commanded the Justice League. And she was demanding "real" dates from him. What was that? Didn't they already travel during the missions? When they finished what they had to do, they had dinner together, in fact she ate because he hadn't taken off his mask around her yet. That was another issue, but she said she would be patient with him. Taking her to the movies would actually be the best option, because he wouldn't have to take off his mask. That was what was normally done in a relationship, according to her observations and research. Yes, she would like that.
Helena thought of marriage and family, Huntress thought of revenge and justice. And at some point, these two sides began to intertwine. She knew that Vic didn't think the same way as her. With her upbringing, it was natural for a relationship to evolve into marriage, for Vic it was just a socially imposed issue (and full of conspiracy theories). She didn't pressure him, but she also didn't hide the fact that she wanted to marry him.
They were both jealous in their own way. She was explosive and didn't hide it, although there was no real reason to be jealous, she wasn't afraid that one day he would get tired of her and leave. He had barely looked at her even with few clothes on before he had declared himself, a little awkwardly, and his interactions with other women frankly scared her more than they attracted her. What Helena didn't know was that Vic was also jealous of her and unlike her case, he had certain reasons for it. She was a beautiful and seductive woman. Obviously she didn't hit on other men, she had been in a relationship with him for a long time and expected to stay that way until she died, but he knew that unlike him, she could easily enjoy his demands and leave him for a better man. Little did he know that she, like him, didn't have eyes for other people. And jealousy always added a pinch to their romance from time to time too.
Vic knew she wanted to get married and despite his reluctance, an unexpected event made him change his mind. During a mission Helena had disappeared and he was desperate, creating thousands of theories and he even went so far as to do something he learned at the orphanage and no longer did: pray. And he also promised that when he found her he would ask her to marry him. Hours later and he discovers he is having a panic attack he finds her in his apartment (she had planned the mission earlier than expected and wanted to surprise him and that's why she didn't contact him). And they searched for him everywhere, except at his house. Well, whatever, now he would have to buy a ring.
Why is 'Fire Fight' (GI Joe Renegades ep. 10) such a good episode? It did not need to go that hard, but it's what children's media should be. Fire and explosions and insane villains and so many moments of peril and the acceptance of a death endured for the sake of saving others. I sound insane. Probably because I am insane, but that's beside the point.
Getting silly and reading Garrusā attempt at flirting from ME3 with the Inigo Montoya voice.
It just occurred to me that when Snake Eyes brought the Joes to his dojo in 'The Return of the Arashikage Part I' he probably thought this was going to be their beach episode. Their one moment of bliss. Their chance to learn some actual hand to hand combat. And then instead they got threatened by his adoptive sister and almost murdered by his insane foil character ("the creep in the white jammies" as Tunnel Rat would say). No wonder this man his crippling depression.
Whoever named them Hard Master and Soft Master - genuinely, what were they on? Not to mention Silent Master. Could you imagine? You walk into the place where you were raised and find that they've decided to honor you by riffing on the fact that your vocal cords don't work? And Blind Master? Like, I know logically that they're just describing these people in a single word, but still. It couldn't have been Wise Master or Kind Master or Generous Master. They had to go right for dunking on you. Lol, I think it's more funny than upsetting, especially considering GI Joe's vast plethora of insane names. But seriously - who is naming these people?
