hi i read your hydration sitution post and wanted to send an ask instead of rb because my social battery is low...
idk how the average joe does it because were disabled which affects our urinary tract but we always have a water bottle take a sip or gulp depending on how we feel and make sure before leaving anywhere to use the restroom no matter if feeling like its a need we just go
or like if we know were staying home for the day just going every so often (it helps our bathrooms are close)
maybe since youre not used to it set alarms have reminders and keep that schedule so your body gets used to it? maybe like an hour or hour and a half for water and use the restroom, itll feel weird yes but building the habit is a good step
wishing you the best!!
Hello! I tried to answer this earlier but it didn't let me :(
Tysm for letting me know about this! Unfortunately there's a law where we can't have our phones at school so I can't set reminders 5/7 days, however I'm trying to get better now that I get small craving-like feelings!
If I was allowed to bring water bottles I had to school I would've probably developed this sooner, even if a little. I only had opaque water bottles growing up in elementary and only transparent ones were allowed (not the craziest rule, we could only wear non-logo socks with two color choices)
I'm actually glad you sent in an ask instead of reblogging, I get really happy when I see asks in my box and someone insys actually deleted the og post about it, so I don't think I would've seen your suggestions had it been a reblog.
Tysm for coming! I hope you have a good day and good sleep :3

In Your Eyes Now by NightCove_thefox as well as other older songs have been stuck in my head recently. I didn't realize how much of a coping mechanism it was.
I can totally see someone listening to it and thinking
Yeah. I didn't think about hurting others either. I was a little girl, I just wanted to see something/someone too.
And then some of them will think about their detachment to the world and others, pushing others away as to not burden them, but hurting both others and themselves in the process.
And all they can think is, "Holy shit. Did I become my abuser?"
In Your Eyes Now is very interesting and I need to do a longer post when I'm not so close to my wifi locking
It's just a phase!
Is it? Then let the phase go.
If you never let a phase start it won't ever end. Pushing someone you know, no matter what the statis is, into a corner of being what they don't want to be at that moment they'll only try more and more. If it really IS a phase, let them go through it. If it starts, it'll eventually fade, because that's what phases do.
If it really ISN'T a phase? Don't make them change something about THEMSELVES for YOUR comfort. It's THEIR body. They won't be in your life forever. Don't leave them with a scar once you're out of it.
If it really isn't a phase, love them. If you don't love them because your Christian, that isn't loving thy neighbor. Your god Jesus wants you to love unconditionally, not to love "unconditionally" until it's something you don't like.
Support the people around you, phase or not. They deserve the same care you do. No need to make what's already such a hard world to live in a harder one.

Controversial take, but I think if you're pretending to be in a minority to genuinely help the minority it's okay.
Let me explain (by retelling a story I saw online)
The main person is a straight cis guy. His friends are straight cis guys here too.
The antagonists are clearly drunk (setting is a bar) and yelling homophobic slurs. They are very agressive and they're clearly showing violent signs
The main straight guy (and all his straight friends) then said they were gay. The other men turned around, yelling at them, the friends continued to say they were gay.
The men beat up the guys. This was the main guy's goal, as there was a very strong bartender on watch and they could get charged with hate crime.
They took the beatings, told the cops they were gay. The men did get arrested on hate crime, as well as assault I believe.
The main guy and his friends were pretending to be gay, yes. But they did it to put harmful people in jail. If they did not do that, eventually someone who was actually gay could've been hurt.
In my opinion, these guys are heros, even if nothing bad happened yet as far as we know.
Very very nice, good for nonverbal and/or nonscribal. May bring up with my partner to put into a server

The best part about being a system is being a man in headspace and being okay with feminine clothing
The worst part about being in a system is that our voices and accents are getting more distinct and now we can't front around our medical providers
The funniest part about being a system full of mostly cisgender or masculine aligned men is that I can put us in the most feminine outfit possible and then stick one of the most hypermasculine people we have insys into front because he's American and sounds closest to the body
So anyway, I'm going to the doctor in a few minutes, have a fit check before we stick an extremely masculine person in front
(By the way the skirt has jinglies on it)
