Chapter 2: March 14, 2010

Chapter 2: March 14, 2010

A heavy sigh escaped from between his lips as he got out of his car. He stood there for a few seconds and examined his surroundings, making sure no one was around. Then he cracked his knuckles and put on his thick black leather gloves before opening the trunk.

"Aren't you beautiful?"

The words danced from his lips as he reached down and pushed the hair out of the corpse's face. He licked his lips as he examined her lifeless face, then he started into her green eyes as he thought about the fun he had with her. He closed his eyes as he mentally went through everything he did to her, then a sadistic little grin spread across his face as his eyes snapped back open.

"Let's get you all set up."

After he spoke, he bent over and picked the body up. As he adjusted his grip, he looked around the alleyway for a perfect spot to put her on display. Once he decided where he was going to put her, he sat her down on the ground and posed her in a lifelike fashion. Then he examined his work, making sure it was to his liking. He nodded to himself before walking back over to the car and pulled out a pack of cigarettes. He tossed the pack back into the car after he lit one, then he walked back around to the trunk and pulled out a broken doll. As he took a long drag from the cigarette, he walked over to the body and gently positioned the doll in her lap.

"Perfect."

He said to himself before going back to the car for his camera. He examined her again, then lifted the camera to his left eye and snapped a few pictures. Then he nodded and sighed before he smirked to himself.

"It was fun while it lasted, but it's time to start looking for my next plaything."

He took one last drag from his cigarette before putting it out. Then he placed the butt in the pocket of his jacket as he turned around and walked back to his car. He got in the driver's seat and started the engine.

"I have the perfect first place to look."

The sadistic little grin returned to his face as he drove off in the direction of his favorite bar in Seattle. He chuckled to himself as 'You can't always get what you want' by The Rolling Stones started playing on the radio. He sang along to the whole song as he smoked another cigarette, this time enjoying it a bit more. After a bit, he pulled into the parking lot of the bar. Then he shut off the engine and threw his cigarette butt onto the ground as he got out. His gaze danced over to a young woman who was walking into the bar, then he bit his lower lip as he examined her beautiful body.

"If I play my cards right, I could talk her into going to the bathroom with me."

He mumbled to himself, then decided to smoke one more cigarette as he observed the young woman through the front window. He took a deep drag as his gaze drifted over to the Harley Davidson that parked right next to his car. He watched as the guy slicked back his hair, then reach into the chest pocket of his cut to retrieve a pack of cigarettes.

"Hey man, you need a light?"

He asked the biker as he watched him reach back into the same pocket of his cut.

"No man, I'm good, but thanks."

The biker shook his head as he pulled out a lighter and held it up.

He nodded at the biker without another word before throwing his cigarette butt onto the ground. After he stomped it out, he made his way into the bar. His gaze instantly locked onto the back of the young woman that he watched walk in.

(I have not started working on Chapter 3 yet, but hopefully will very soon)
