REBLOGS APPRECIATED!
Hey everyone,
Im opening emergency commissions to help cover the cost of vet bills for an animal my friend and I unexpectedly rescued last night. I’m willing to share details via DM for anyone that wants to hear more, but I don’t want to put the details on this post.
The final charge could be as high as $3,700, and seeing as how both my friend and I are technically unemployed this is not an amount that we can possibly fund on our own. On top of that, it’s a completely unexpected amount of money since it involves a rescued animal. We also were hit with the after-hours fee due to the timing of the event in question. The final amount will be due very soon once everything is taken care of at the vet’s office.
I am reopening some of my comic style commissions, but my medieval manuscript commissions are also still open, which can be seen here: (link).
Pricing for comic style commissions is as follows: Half body: $15 (extra character +$7) Full body: $25 (extra character +$10)
I am able to sell prints of completed pieces via my print store (privately uploaded to inprnt) for anyone who would be interested. Previous commissions seen in medieval & comic style can be viewed in my #commissions tag on my blog.
If you’d like a commission, please DM me and we will begin the process from there. Image references are appreciated (and don’t have to be anything fancy). Payments preferably made via PayPal. I also have cashapp and ko-fi.
Tips are also greatly appreciated though of course not necessary.
If you’d like to send anything our way without a commission, everything helps, and my kofi can be found here: https://ko-fi.com/boneshit
I’m will have to look at this later

Punctuating Dialogue
✧
➸ “This is a sentence.”
➸ “This is a sentence with a dialogue tag at the end,” she said.
➸ “This,” he said, “is a sentence split by a dialogue tag.”
➸ “This is a sentence,” she said. “This is a new sentence. New sentences are capitalized.”
➸ “This is a sentence followed by an action.” He stood. “They are separate sentences because he did not speak by standing.”
➸ She said, “Use a comma to introduce dialogue. The quote is capitalized when the dialogue tag is at the beginning.”
➸ “Use a comma when a dialogue tag follows a quote,” he said.
“Unless there is a question mark?” she asked.
“Or an exclamation point!” he answered. “The dialogue tag still remains uncapitalized because it’s not truly the end of the sentence.”
➸ “Periods and commas should be inside closing quotations.”
➸ “Hey!” she shouted, “Sometimes exclamation points are inside quotations.”
However, if it’s not dialogue exclamation points can also be “outside”!
➸ “Does this apply to question marks too?” he asked.
If it’s not dialogue, can question marks be “outside”? (Yes, they can.)
➸ “This applies to dashes too. Inside quotations dashes typically express—“
“Interruption” — but there are situations dashes may be outside.
➸ “You’ll notice that exclamation marks, question marks, and dashes do not have a comma after them. Ellipses don’t have a comma after them either…” she said.
➸ “My teacher said, ‘Use single quotation marks when quoting within dialogue.’”
➸ “Use paragraph breaks to indicate a new speaker,” he said.
“The readers will know it’s someone else speaking.”
➸ “If it’s the same speaker but different paragraph, keep the closing quotation off.
“This shows it’s the same character continuing to speak.”
