My brother was supposed to get a vaccination (not anymore because of Corona), but he doesn't like getting those, so he said he wanted to be sedated in his arm for his vaccination... Like, dude??? How do you think that's gonna work???

Thanks to these, the Pandemic Times, I’ve gathered enough good fics for The Untamed to make a pretty killer rec list, if I do say so myself. Most are Wei Wuxian/Lan Wangji, but I have ventured off into other wildernesses as well. Most notably, I’ve gotten very into my Yunmeng Trio feelings and love for the juniors. the entire Structure of any multi-paragraph post of mine

This is a very random post, but I just remembered this story my mother told me about her mother (my grandmother).

Basically, they were somewhere in France and they just had lunch in this cute little cafe and my grandmother went inside to pay. She wanted to pay with card because reasons, but back in the day, long long ago, paying with card wasn't really all that normal at the time, so she had to ask first.

The problem here is that my (Dutch) grandmother asked if she could pay with a

"card postale"

Which translated to Dutch literally means postal card (which is how you used to do credit card payments back in the day, apparently), but translated correctly means postcard.

So anyway, you have this annoyed feisty lady practically yelling that she would like to pay for her food with a postcard and a very confused waiter who tried to explain that you cannot pay with postcards for food and my grandfather who was just laughing real hard.

So long story short, my grandparents are fucking hilarious.

So has anyone mentioned that Grace’s embroidery project she’s working on when Diego shuts her off looks like a moon with a chunk detaching from it? I can’t get a screenshot because Netflix seems to be able to block them, but I just noticed this on my third (3rd) rewatch last night.

La Mort de la Sirène (Angel of Music, Harry Hook x Fem!OCReader) - Chapter Six

Hi guys here is chapter six, its a bit shorter than the rest, but chapter seven is going to be quite long so hopefully that will make up for this crappy chapter. Let me know if you want to be added to the Taglist! Also there is some French dialogue in the chapter and I provided the translations at the end of the post.

Summary: Azalea explores the Isle during the daytime, seeing familiar faces and new ones along the way, but just as Harry predicted good things don’t last on the Isle.
