jan 08, mmxx. (here are some pictures from the afternoon when the sun decided to finally show its face, and I decided to finally get off my arse and take pictures)

2020 did not start out all that well, and Iʼve been trying to distance myself a bit from social media to get myself together, and I guess thatʼs partially worked, or at least stifled my terrible coping mechanism of mindlessly scrolling through instagram when Iʼm low. (which always just makes me feel ten times worse for both the eye strain and the time wasted.) i feel better now, though—and coincidentally, monday was supposed to be the first day of school, which was making me feel a bit awful because I had one or two things that I had planned I would do over the break but it didnʼt, but then the government ended up making them extend it by a week? so that was a gift, because now Iʼm trying to be as productive as I can and redeem myself. also, (belatedly) happy new year!
