Welp, the run ended in failure, unfortunately. I just was too underleveled and hadn't healed up properly before facing Grusha so, despite beating 3 of the 6 pokémon, I couldn't get any further.

I'll definitely be giving these kitties a second shot though, including my little skitty (who i chose to nickname 'Hero' after how he saved my run earlier (he actually almost saved it again against Grusha, but despite finding some funny interactions I triggered from switching him in at different points, I couldn't find a combination of actions that would allow me to win this time))

I'll probably post more things around PokeRogue as I keep playing (I'd love to draw my team once I succeed, but I can't due to an injury right now so I'll have to wait on doing that) hopefully next run will be the one.

Of course, I'm talking about the one thing on everyone's keyboards this past, like, month. The thing that's had America - plus millions of others - holding bated breaths, shuddering in anticipation.

And it's fucking over. The sentient splotch of Sunny-D won:

That wrinkled orange fuck apparently wasn't reviled enough to not see a second (and probably longer) term, but he's not even my big concern.

He got ALL 3 of the House, Senate and Presidency.

You know that little Project we've been trying to warn about, spread awareness of? That one about next year? Yeah, with leads on all 3 there's functionally nothing stopping The Heritage Foundation from pushing all of that through. And you know what is perhaps the most tantamount part of it? The effective LGBTQ+ bans; by labeling us as 'pornographic' which they seek a ban on

And, though I don't believe any are mentioned in the Project itself, that will likely include website and social media bans.

I guess this whole long-winded, "We're so fucked I'm typing in proper case" diatribe is just to say that...I'll miss this place. The gay autism website is no doubt going to be among the first removed.

Of course, I'd love to be proven wrong. I'd love to look back, 2 years from now, and laugh at the thought of fascism truly holding that kind of power. But the person I am now, I couldn't possibly.

And I'll no doubt keep fighting. If this is what takes me, I'll go down fighting, defiant to the end.
