It’s standing up to hate, doing what is difficult that makes you a better person, a stronger person. Recognize white privileged and do better. We are so used to what “our normal” is, when someone tries to quiet the majority so that the minority can be heard we take offense, stop, recognize what bothers you about being quieted and then realize that THAT feeling is what the minority feels everyday. You can apply this to anything, be it religion or race, etc. It’s not about silencing you, the majority, it’s about turning the volume down so that others may be recognized as well.
